Not official weigh in day, but I've done it, I'm under 300lb. Today's weight 299.25lb :)

That's amazing, I do believe another happy dance is in order!

Congratulations to those that have hit their first mini goals

My mini goal is to have dropped 30 lbs before I see my nutritionalist. I see her on the 14th and on my last weigh day I was down 25 lbs. I've been fluctuating a lot but keeping on target with my calories so I'm hoping

My 1st mini-goal is just to stick to my diet for 7 days or more--I haven't been able to do that since before Thanksgiving last year. I seem to rarely make it 3 days before "crashing". I think if I make it 7 days, I'll be able to stick to my diet for a long time since that's how it typically works for me--stick to my diet for 7 days & the rest gets much easier.

My 2nd mini-goal is to get down below 282 lbs (I think I'm about 300 now). That's typically been a "sticking point" for me in the past.

I've decided to add another, ongoing mini-goal: my diet plan aims at losing 1.5 lbs per week, so I'm going to celebrate each time I accomplish that. Just weighed myself & hit my target, woo hoo!

My other informal mini-goal just for this week is to be slightly under calories each day. Two of my in-laws are arriving from the UK this weekend, will be staying for a couple of weeks, and during their visits my food plan always goes awry. They've recently become very health conscious though, so I'm hoping this visit they will be able to teach me some great new recipes.

I have changed my start date and weight to January 1st 2016 when I was at my heaviest. As I actually joined in 2012 it was showing my start weight as 15lb lower than I am right now. This is the first time I have made it to a 30 day streak and I need to see the results. My progress is now showing 16lb lost rather than 0lb.

Now I am under 300lb, I will celebrate every half a stone. But the next mini goal that means something to me is 280lb. I weighed 280lb for around 15 years and gradually put the other 35lb on over 20 months after starting on insulin. To just get back to where I was for so long would be a massive achievement.

From there it is only one direction, well two - downward and inward :)

Absolutely, I want to see every lb lost on my tracker. I would do the same. I have had about 3 different myfitnesspal accounts over the years I think. I would be at 0lb lost for a really really long time to come if it was counting from back when I first joined on old account. My weight has always gone up and down. I yo yoed my way up to 245lb age by age 16 where I hovered around age16-21 then I went down to 175lb within few months on my insane vegan raw food salad diet age 21, I very strongly do not recommend that. Then I slowly made my way up to 301lb by age 28 I think I was, and plummeted back down to 175lb in 9 months militant healthy eating during 2009. Then I slowly made my way up to 330 by age 34. On plus side I always put really big losses back on a lot more slowly than they came off but I always reached new heights and that is bad. We live and learn. I always count from highest weight whenever that was and I always try to remain hopeful of losing it for good.

I also want to get to 300 for my first mini-goal -- just 9 lbs away. :)

And an NSV goal: I ordered my usual 2XL tshirt for an event on June 6. I'd love to have to trade it in for just an XL. That's another mini-goal on this long journey.

Big morning this morning. Not actually a goal, but noteworthy for me. If you've read my posts, you know that I was at 403 at one point. This morning, I weighed in at 302.0... That's the second (and I'm determined that it will be the last) time I've crossed the century line from my heaviest. 3 lbs to go and I'm under 300!

Wow, 100lb gone is definitely worth celebrating. That is fantastic, your amazing feats of willpower are paying off.

My latest mini goal was to get under 21 stone which I have achieved this morning, I am now 20 stone 12lb (292lb). (It is UK system of measuring weights. 14lb in every 1 stone)
my next mini goal will be to get under 20 stone which means reaching 279lb.

My 12-month point is the beginning of June, and I'd like to reach 100 lbs by then. Sadly, I am about 25 pounds away. Should I double-down, or stop obsessing?

As of this morning I've hit my 1st mini goal which was to break into the 240's...I'm at 248.8! That's 3 pounds away from the weight that I was in Jan 2013, just before I had an emotional melt-down that I soothed by binging till numb. The next goal is under 245...

25lb in two months seems too much of a push to me. 75lb in 10 months is plenty reason enough to celebrate. Well done on that. I think pressuring yourself to try and lose another 25lb in just two months is more likely to have a negative effect than a positive one. Why not fill in your losses to date in the 100lb in 15 months challenge. That gives you 5 months to lose those 25lb, you can do that.

AWESOME Job!!! We are neck and neck in our little race to 299! Kick it into high gear, and let's cancel our memberships in the 3-bills club!

25 lbs in two months is a lot. You may get close and if you do that's amazing if you don't you've already done something phenomenal. Give yourself praise for coming this far. I wouldn't push it any farther then you already are. You're doing this for the long run not just a single goal.
