Planned on doing more outside yesterday, but it was pretty chilly all day, and my husband's allergies were on high intensity, so we decided staying inside and doing some mall walking was the best option. Mall walking is not my favorite option, but my husband's ability to breathe had to take priority. Added 4.25 miles anyway.
May total 60 miles
@clepant It's one thing to choose lower cost options for a mild illness or injury, or a vaccine, but if you are the type of person who does not seek out medical care until you are Really ill, they don't work so great. I'm glad you are on the mend and I hope you are back on your feet completely soon.0 -
Thanks everybody, it was an awesome ride! We started in Bentonville and rode on the Razorback Greenway to Fayetteville, then rode back. There were all kinds of activities going on along the Greenway including bands and an incredible bike zoo. I feel so blessed to live here with opportunities like this. It seems like every week there is some event going on!
@JTH11706 I think I upped my goal to 300. At least that's what my ticker says!

@CLEPANT - I hate how awful insurance plans are now...so expensive that cutting corners is almost unavoidable without having to donate a kidney or something. I sure hope you're feeling better by now.

May16: I got my blood pressure almost back to normal. I am convinced that the Mucinex caused it as I never took it before and my pressure went up after I took it. Stopped taking it this morning and my pressure went down. Another med that I can't take. I had another bad night but I forced myself outside to get some walk time in. I mowed grass for 80 minutes too.

Ended up taking an unexpected trip into work yesterday, but that turned into a great excuse to stop at the nature center and take a nice long walk in the woods. I'm starting back on a regular work schedule today, but I am working at scheduling some good walking breaks around it.
