    Checking in.

Hubby and I finished all rounds of testing with a reproductive endocrinologist (no trouble TTC, but recurrent miscarriages). They found nada. Nothing. Zero. Zilch. Totally counter intuitive, but we were kinda hoping they would find *something* so that we could correct the problem.

We meet with the doctor again today to see what our next steps should be. Based on my insurance and the fact that nothing is technically wrong, I'm predicting an action plan of IUI and progesterone. But... I'll keep ya posted!

In the world of weight loss, I'm down 12 pounds  I'm only 5'2" and currently weighing in at 127, but hoping to get back to 115, which is where I was before all the miscarriages and stress eating. My doc sent me to a dietician and I've been pretty strict with a "fertility diet". Now I've just got to make more time for working out! Getting back in shape hasn't been easy. It was much easier putting the weight on! But I am fully dedicated to making sure I do whatever I can to have a healthy pregnancy the next time around!

Well, it looks like our first month of trying we aren't actually trying :( Hubby has a fever blister on his mouth and wont BD until it is gone, because he wants romance and kissing and not just to be used for his sperm...which I get, but at the same time its like...just do me already, I'm only fertile for a little while!!! >.< Trying to focus on the fact that I have more time to lose a few more pounds until next month. #silverlining? Byebye FW....

@Steph, congrats on the 12# loss, that is fantastic. Im down about 14 since the new year, but had really packed it back on over the fall and holiday seasons. Im still about 10 # heavier than I was at this time last year- I have got to stop this dang yoyoing!

@StephAStephan so sorry you weren't able to find a cause for the recurrent miscarriages. It must be really frustrating to not find a root cause for all the heartache. That would make me crazy. Congrats on the weight loss! Fellow 5'2" over here. I haven't weighed 115 since high school but you're making me rethink my goal, haha. I'm at 131 now and was targeting 125 or 120.

@Kirstie155 I can understand your frustration but I do think having a little romance in your first month of trying isn't a bad thing! You just have a new first month of trying. I'm sure I'll feel the same way once we start trying though. Just try not to let it get you down!

I got engaged! After everything that has happened, it's nice to have something good happen. We haven't decided on a date yet or figured out when. We are not exactly on the same page with that lol. He wants a destination some time next year, while I'm leaning towards traditional by the end of the year. I might be willing to do destination as long as it happens this year, but he thinks that's not enough notice for guests.

And we haven't figured out exactly how baby making fits into the picture right now. We've agreed to wait to see what the results are from the specialist are in a few weeks to see what they find.

But super excited about the engagement and it's a welcome distraction from waiting around for test results.

Hi ladies! I'm back for the moment.

@WifiresGettingFit Congratulations!!! That's an adorable story and a stunning ring! Just remember to try to enjoy wedding planning :)

@motivatedsister I'm so sorry for your loss! I can't imagine how difficult that is. But congratulations on the engagement!! I'm sure whatever type of wedding you and your fiance decide on will be wonderful.

@StephAStephan - That must be really frustrating to not have any answers from the reproductive endocrinologist. I hope things go well in the future.

@Kirstie155 - Sorry your first month of TTC is a bust due to your sick hubby :/

Work has become crazy busy for me the last few weeks. On top of that I still feel awful. I basically bust my butt all day at work and turn into a useless blob at home. Really not fun.

@puffbrat it's totally fine to be a blob at home if that's what you need to destress! I love to hear from you :) How is your pregnancy going? How far along are you now again? Is there anyone at work you can talk to about reducing your work load a little bit... have you told work you are pregnant yet? I have so many questions haha.

@VeryKatie thanks for support. I realize I have been gone for a while so I'm sure there are lots of questions for me to answer :)

I just provided a general (but still really long) update in the pregnancy discussion.

I 18 weeks +2 today. I think my bump really popped at week 16 but several people have asked me about being pregnant just yesterday and today. Probably related my clothes making it more obvious.

I can talk with my manager and team lead at work about my work load. I also need to get better at delegating work to my backup and the 2 new team members. Everyone at work does know I'm pregnant. I've been trying for over a month to get an appointment with a benefits person to tell me my options for maternity leave.

@puffbrat Thank you Jessica! =) I haven't gotten too much into the wedding planning yet but I already feel stressed since I really kinda...just don't know what I want. haha I'm sorry to hear you're still feeling awful and that work is still crazy! I hope things slow down soon and that you start feeling better.

    How is everyone's weekend going?

Mine has been rather...long. haha I've been dealing with a headache for most of it and I've been more tired and irritable because I started my period on Friday. Yesterday was running errands and visiting some family. Today it's just relaxing and laundry. The headache thankfully is finally subsiding and my appetite seems to be going back down to a normal level instead of me wanting to eat the fridge and the pantry and pretty much everything in sight. haha

@WifiresGettingFit I'm with you in the irritability. Feel like I'm inventing conflict between hubby and me and sensing tension that isn't actually there. So frustrating. Glad your appetite has decreased hehe.

My weekend is okay. Yesterday I spent 45 minutes in a fitting room at Victoria's Secret and found a good fit in a random color, grabbed another in a good color in the same size, and bought it, later finding out that it's too small. But I can't go back to that store, ugh. Too much time in that little room. Today I realllllly wanted to go mountain biking and it's SO windy. Gonna try a run instead and then plant some starts for our new garden bed. Also wanna clean up the house a little bit. Ugh wind. At least we sprang forward last night and evening outdoor activities are more likely to happen!

@pezhed That is frustrating. I've been called out for doing that myself. I'm glad too but now to try and salvage March a bit so I'm not even further behind. haha

Well that sucks that the other one didn't fit and that it's so windy out. I hate when plans get messed up. I had completely forgotten about the time change until my Mom mentioned it in a text but I'm excited for it nearing the end of this cold weather and getting to spend more time outside! I see lots of trips to a nearby park in my future! I hope you enjoy your run and gardening! Both sound relaxing! =)

    I hope you're feeling better today @WifiresGettingFit!

This weekend wasn't exactly exciting but it was the most productive I've had since getting pregnant. I'm proud and excited just to have had the energy to accomplish some things. Saturday I spent about 3 hours running errands, went hiking with hubby and the dog, then hubby and I went out to dinner. It was great but exhausting. I fell asleep on the couch around 7 :p Sunday I spent the first half of the day sleeping, but still did 3 loads of laundry, vacuumed the house, and cleaned the bathroom.

Puffbrat that is awesome that you have your energy back, yay! I also had a productive weekend. Did all the laundry plus multiple loads of homemade blankets and things that my MIL made back in her hayday. Shes an indoor smoker though, so they all reeked of smoke, so right in the washer they went! Its so cool to have things she handmade though. Crocheted king and queen sized blankets for the bed, throws, wall decorations, pillows, curtains, place-mats! She sure kept busy :) I also got new curtains, hung them, ordered a new rug, vacuumed, hung some art that Ive been wanting to hang. Felt good to cross a few things off my list :) Also got a new low and mini goal this morning 190.0! My goals are set at 5# increments from here on out, and then at 178 because that is a "normal bmi" for my height. Focusing on that goal until I get pregnant!

@Kirstie155 That sounds like a really productive weekend! It's so nice to get those things checked off the list. I bet those blankets your mother made are beautiful. Congrats on hitting 190!

I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm going to be on a trip from March 25 to April 1. So I might have the April sheet up for April 1 but it might be more like April 2. Do not fret, just remember your numbers :) lol.
