My new favorite hack is when you put shredded cheese and pepperoni (and any other toppings you want) in a bowl, simply microwave for 30-45 seconds, stir and enjoy pizza in a bowl. I actually don't even miss the crust; super yummy and easy and satisfies the pizza craving.
I know this is a really really old post, but... anyone that missed this idea the first time around should really consider trying it. I just did tonight for the first time and it was wonderful. Pizza has been a really hard thing for me to figure out how to either moderate OR make in a satisfying low-carb way, and this might be the answer to scratch that itch. Weirdly enough, having no crust at all kept it from being a disappointing imposter food, and I could enjoy it!
I finally got to try RAO's sauce, too. It's easily the best jarred sauce I've ever bought!
I am new to this WOE also, and I use the pepperoni as the "crust" for pizza by layering it, then topping with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, then adding a handful of frozen peppers and onions and a few black olive slices. I put all that on a plate, cover the plate with another upside down plate to prevent splattering, and microwave for 2 1/2 to 3 minutes. Let it cool, and cut into pizza slices. Soooo good.10 -

I think I'm amazing at eyeballing portions but I know I'm not. Lately I've been pre-portioning everything so it's grab and go. Not necessarily a low carb 'hack' but a useful one for any bulk food buyer.5

I do like when I eat the whole pack of a deli meat...then I know exactly what to log because they weighed it!7

I know this is a pretty old thread, but I've enjoyed reading many of these hacks. Thanks. If anyone on this thread is STILL on MFP and STILL doing LCHF, please consider adding me as a friend. I do have questions and would love to be able to share ideas, thoughts, etc. TIA.2

Yes, same here. Been Keto since August 2019 and am down over 50 lbs. Slow and steady...3 -
Loving this thread. I steadfastly stayed with MFP to carb count rather than switch apps to some carb-related one. I especially love the bacon hack - I usually buy a couple of packs of Sainsbury's Bacon medallions but by the time I get to my fortnightly shop I might have half a pack soo to go out of date so... that is going to be my end of fortnight ritual including making soup with bendy veggies!2
