Aug 11 - 4 miles ...golfing with a power cart.
And it is Friday!! My little granddaughter is coming to visit for the day, so better get my coffee.

Goodness ... good thing a friend came and helped out. We moved all the boxes out of mom's house to the garage - getting ready for the garage sale.

Glad to see you all keeping up with your miles. I've been doing a horrible job!! My August goal is to be above 85.25. That was last year's total.
I saw someone else post about getting organized. I'm trying to do the same thing. We cleaned our storage unit last weekend and are trying to get our house in order. We've had a couple of offers on the other house, but all have fallen through. It's been a little frustrating. I'm falling into my routine with my job. The bf's sister joined the gym that I go to, and I've been able to meet up with her to get a couple of workouts in. Still working on consistency. I've had a lot of things scheduled for work when she goes, so I've not been able to make every day. I need to work on that.
I'm still struggling with the fitbit staying charged, but I haven't made a decision on getting something new yet.
Such a long post, not going to post the daily #'s. I had 2 days where the dead fitbit made the number really low and I've not hit 5 miles at all.
As of the 13th, my total is 29.68. Some work to do.
I really want to work on consistency through the next couple of weeks.

I think I worked a collective 24 hours just on Thursday and Friday. Yikes. My steps reflect that. Thankfully my husband helped me get some extra sleep
Saturday and today. I hit my step goal yesterday and am about there tonight. At this point I'm giving up the 10k days goal. I just want to hit my miles/steps and daily goals from here on out. My sciatica has come back with a vengeance so rest days will happen when there too much pain.0 -

Aug 15 - 5.6 miles - 12318 steps (11/10) 438 kms home again....
My friend needed a ride to the city to visit relatives, so off we went... then they all decided we should go to West Edmonton Mall for some shopping. It is a great place to get some steps in as long as you go in the morning. We left by 2 p.m. and it was really crowded.
So home now and back at the mess in my house. Bagging the afghans I brought home from my mom's house, sheets going to the rag bag and to the shed to use for covering my garden when frost shows up this fall... I should be doing some more in her house but have to get my house sort of tidied up...I am the emergency back up sitter - so grandkids coming tomorrow.

Finally got to my desk to organize some papers, pay some bills.... still have garden to take care of. I have yet to figure out how to walk on the spot and shell peas. !!1 -
Still here...yesterday's miles: 4.51
Getting nowhere fast on my decluttering...but I did do some yesterday after work, which is really a great step in the right direction for me. I am working on finding that sweet spot where I have energy AFTER work. I have been a slug for the longest time.
Three days in a row my eyes have opened at 4:30 on their own...my favorite time to wake up during the work week. Gives me time to ride the bike, make lunch (if not done the night before) and gather myself. Have to be out the door by 6:35.
I am keeping fingers crossed this trend continues.

Aug 20 - 3.3 miles .... a few miles in the morning while waiting for her discharge and then managed to get some steps in chasing around grandchildren...
Week 3 - 25 miles (12/10) = 94.5 miles
Nice and cool here today, rained overnight to cool things down and settle the dust. Not sure what is on the agenda, supposed to be going to a potluck. don't know what I am taking !! I haven't been home long enough to think about it......

Not sure where I am on miles, but I've been working out, and this weekend, I went to the grocery and bulk store and bought a ridiculous amount of food. I'm cooking and prepping food for the freezer and snacks for my workdays. Pinterest has been a go-to for me the past week or so.

It has been a busy week for me. I have everything out of mom's house and while I was sorting and setting up for the garage sale I ran a mini garage sale and sold lots of stuff. Picked choke cherries and apples while I waited for people to come and pick up the things I advertised on Facebook.
Today is Blueberry Festival so I will be filling in at my favorite volunteer position as our little community of 750 blossoms to 3 - 4000 people.....there will be lots of steps again today!!!

Forgot my Fitbit at home for the first time in probably a year... Not even going to total this month and just going to accept it as a miss. My daughter cut 4 teeth this month so sleep has taken priority over steps. BUT tomorrow is a new month and we are going on a week long family trip (just us 3), so it will be a great day to start over0
