Book recommendations

I'm looking for good book recommendations about health/fitness/diet. I would like them to be research based but I don't want to feel like I'm reading a thesis.
I was thinking of "Grain Brain" to start. Any other suggestions and the reason why you would recommend it would be appreciated.
Thanks!!

Start with this list from the Launchpad! Lots of good ones:

Grain Brain is very good. My favourites are Gary Taubes 2 books for the history and background of why to eat LCHF, and Jimmy Moore's for easy understanding of how. Also the Phinney Volek ones are solid. There are tons of them out there now, so read up! I also listen to the 2ketodudes podcast.2

Dr. Andreas Enfeldt (dietdoctor.com) has also written a good book: easy to understand and a fairly fast read.
