Fall is here. I can't wait for curling to start. What are you going to do this month

    Several things planned for this month.
    1) Get back to logging my steps here.
    2) Make it to the gym at least 16 times this month.
    3) I recently started walking up stairs during my break at work and I want to keep this up, at least get my 5 floors per day via Fitbit.

    I am going to have a slow start. I am still on the west coast and I will need to get some good walks in before getting in the car to drive back to the prairies.

    I'm in ! Found an old fit bit. Yay.

    Goal 100 miles. Looking forward to new fit bit to clock miles in the water !

    I've been MIA, but plan on getting back on track. My boyfriend left me with no notice and no explanation at the end of August. I let myself fall apart, but this past week, I finally have all of his stuff gone, I've put away our memories, and I'm ready to be myself again. I'm ready to be selfish and focus on my health and happiness.

    I hit 113 last October, goal of 115 this year. I did my first 5K of the fall today and am at about 6 miles so far. I don't see there being too many more throughout the rest of the day, but am very happy to be where I am at this point. :)

    October is my favorite time of the year. Love the fall weather. lt's still a little warm here, but getting more fall-like on some days in the evenings. My pup is loving to get out more also, so he and I will be doing more walking.

    Since I had 230.66 miles last month but I also missed 6 days of goal miles, that's my goal for the month.
    230 miles while reaching goal (6 miles) everyday :#

    MLH...very sorry about jerk head boyfriend...what an *kitten*! But good to hear you have picked yourself up and are focusing on YOU and your health.

    I love now...our heat is gone and we are into the next 8 months of wonderful. No excuses not to get things accomplished ... my steps are not great... but will check in daily...that is one of my goals. Also, to declutter this joint...I am looking to buy something before my lease is up in May...so it needs to be done by March 15 to give notice.

    Have a good day everyone. I am busy at work...oh yes, I am also trying to lose 17 pounds. So far, I have been spinning my wheels...looking to make good on my goals finally.

    Weekends are usually my hardest times to reach goal but this weekend was a non-stressful success!!

    10/01 - 6.92
    10/02 - 7.85

    Hope I can keep it up, we have rain here in the Bay Area.

    I really like the cooler weather, but I did not expect to come home to snow!!! We have an early snow storm blanketing much of the province of Saskatchewan. Sooo..... we won't be walking out there for a couple days, I have to unpack my suitcase and do laundry and I have a house guest until the roads are better for travelling on.

    - 15 days over 10,000 steps
    - Control, control, control!!!

    Oct 1 - 4.09 miles
    Oct 2 - 2.2 miles - on the ferry and heading for home
    Oct 3 - 1.22 miles - not enough stops and walks
    Oct 4 - 3.2 miles - got in more walking today
    Oct 5 - 2.5 miles - and finally home - Yeah

    Thanksgiving dinner a day early, really great to see all my grandkids, they don't live that far away, but don't always get to be here together. Only one strangler left this morning, one grandson thought he needed to stay. We will go outside today and make a snowman and he said also a snow angel. :)

    Just ordered my fit bit flex2...looking forward to getting it...this WILL get me back in the pool...as it really can be used in the water.

    I seem to have stalled!!! Didn't get my parking lot walk in when I was in the city, had my grandkids more days than expected and ......oh excuses!!! At least I can't over eat when the kids are here because then they want snacks and then they won't eat at meal times....

    Today I will have to go out and dig through the 6 - 8 inches of heavy wet snow and find some of my smaller plant pots and get the put away... oh what a mess!! some of them should have been buried in sawdust to protect the plants for next year!!

    Okay!! I didn't make it outside - I wanted to move some more of my scrapbook room downstairs to its new location so I started on that while I waited for a couple of phone calls..... then my brother showed up with a "little" typing job!!     Then off to a wedding dance and didn't do enough dancing!! And ate some wrong things - I have a really bad headache today.

    Sorry for the rant....just a little frustrated lately!!

    Made it out for a walk and seen 5 moose. Wonder if I will see them again today?

    I joined a Workweek Challenge with a group of crazy-mad walkers last week and even with my total of 137,609 steps I was in 5th place. It was a challenge and I am glad I pushed myself, sometimes that is the only way to know what we are really capable of (the winner had 218,770 steps).

    No reaching goals this month...but today, I did get in the pool...I did pedal at 4:30 this morning. This weekend, I plan to keep up with both. I may have turned the depression corner.

    pedal machine 52 minutes

    pool time 45 minutes

    Will be all set to go November. B)
