I'm back and this morning I'm 193.6 which is up slightly pre-vacation...yes it was probably the booze Shelley. I can live with this number but hope it doesn't go up any further.

Wonderful time, beautiful resort and I climbed Dunns River Falls...950 feet. It was amazing and it helped me on my quest to conquer my fear of the ocean. The next day I went into the Caribbean by myself further out than ever. Ron took pictures. :) yes the sea is calmer than the ocean but it was a person triumph for me.

My Christmas gift to myself will be private swimming lessons in January! I want to fully enjoy my vacations with my guy who loves the beach even more than I do! B)

Back to it ladies. KCM today! My goal is to get to Jan. 1 under 190. Being conservative because of the holidays.

Chris - I'm following your lead and making a pot of healthy soup or chili for the week so on the day I go into the office I have something healthy with a salad. Also it's a meal on those days I don't want to cook.

Im trying eat healthy for this time before the holiday.

Paula - hang in. You've got this!

    Clara - good luck today.

    Take care ladies!

Kathy, I think that's a good goal for this time of year.
Paula and Chris, you know you got this. You can do it.

Well looks like I did not hit the Post Reply button yesterday! I hate that! :'(

Paula and Chris I hear you two. And I only have myself to blame! Working at it! Still lifting though. :)

Congratulations on the fear conquering Kathy! And that climb. That was awesome. And 193 ish is great. So it was worth the booze! (cause I know you enjoyed it). ;) And if I lived near you I would take those private lessons with you! Cause I never learned to swim. We even had a swimming pool in our own back yard, twice! Lived in Florida, New Jersey and Texas. Water everywhere! Muahaha Wow, a new weight goal. Under 190! Way to set a great goal. Now get that soup made. o:)

    Clara wonderful going! 127.4 B)

My Mom couldn't swim either. She was so afraid of not being able to save us if we got in trouble (living in southern california, and often at the beach). So she made absolutely sure that we all learned.

I've quit putting peanuts in my almond yogurt. Down to 171.

Peanuts are so much fat! Glad you did away with them. Now where is my peanut butter? :* My mom could swim. My dad never did learn.

Thank you, Shelley! Time to get a brain adjustment. I got the most gorgeous bell peppers...red, yellow, orange...yesterday. Got one all cut up for tomorrow's snack.

My mom knew how to swim but never did. As a kid in Galveston she got stung by a giant squid or jellyfish. She was in the hospital for several days. So she never swam after that. As a kid, I thought it was sad she was missing all the fun!

I never saw my parents swim. I learned to swim by being thrown in the deep end of the community pool by my older brother. The life guard never moved from under his umbrella!!

That was a worthless life guard! While brothers are just rotten at times the adults should have been paying attention! >:)

I was 149 this morning. Better. I will take it. Lifting more.

173 today. Getting scared of being in the 170's. Keep thinking it's just a blip and I can get it back down with some hard work. But it was the same in the 160's. And I am working hard. And it isn't going down. And it's scary.

    Still hopeful. :ohwell: Working hard.

Muahaha, Muahaha. I fell down laughing. Landed on my sore shoulder, ouch, then hit my head, all while still laughing! Chris lets hug! I weighed in, it was so bad I erased it. Yep, got rid of that lying number! I am going to have a great day tomorrow, in moderation, and worry about the rest on Friday.

I am even going to lift weights in the morning. Not to lose anything. But because I like to. I like the way my arms look in short sleeved tops. Yep. I have awesome arms. And I am going to blast some music while doing it! It is going to be a great day. And I think I will try for 85 pound bench press. I have a goal ladies.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Have some pie.

Glad I could make your day, Shelley. Sorry about the shoulder. I'm going to do the same thing tomorrow, Shelley. My trainer said I had to start being sensible on Friday...wonder if I can consume all the peppermint and GC's in my pantry before Friday morning...

I have a fruit salad and green bean casserole to make for tomorrow night at SIL's mom's house. Should be fun!!

Hope everyone has a delicious Thanksgiving!

Oh my Chris! Did she specifically say no grahms? That is so harsh. Well at least you get to play with little Ronan. And peppermint is great for motion sickness. More for medicinal purposes than for taste. ;)

I made my 85 pound BP today. 86 actually. But I am already feeling my arms getting sore. Uhoh! Could be bad tomorrow.

Peppermint is only allowed on car trips where I'm not driving. But GC's are off the menu!! Especially the way I eat them!! The feast last night was terrific. Amazing. I had a taste of almost everything. On the plus side there was no beer...I guess that's a plus. ;)
