No plans here either. And Chris you are so brave! But then you have been with Ronan alot. He will be fine of course. It is mommy that will have to learn to enjoy it. :'( Poor mommy.

    194.0 this morning.

I'm so ready to get back with healthy eating and lots more exercise. I'm spending The New Year's weekend with Ron in downtown Atlanta at the Hyatt Regency? He goes home for Christmas so this is our time together. The Falcons play the Saints on New Year's Day so he decided that we would spend 2 nights downtown 12-30 and 12-31 and have fun. On the 30th we are going to Atlanta Botanical Gardens to see their light display which I've always wanted to see. Then we're going to No Mas Cantina for dinner...Mexican...his favorite. NY Eve is the Peach drop at Underground Atlanta. I'm just looking forward to being together...it's been a week. :)

And of course the game on Sunday...go Falcons!

I hope everyone has a Happy New Year! :)

DDD and SIL say Ronan is not fond of car rides...we shall see. We have most of the baby furniture put together. One glider left to assemble. We were gifted so many pieces. We are thankful for that.

I remember crying when I dropped her at DH's sisters before I went to work. Then I balled my eyes out when I put her on the school bus for kindergarten. She was so excited. All her little friends were there. They were all dancing around. All the mom's on the sidewalk waving as the bus pulled away...all of us crying big tears!!

141.8 this morning at 6:30. Eleven point eight to go!!

    Back later, my friends!

175 - it's being so hard. Racking my brain trying to remember how it was easy before.
    • high protein
    • no processed carbs
    • small portions
    • pre-plan meals
    • track meals accurately on MFP / count everything
    • measure portions
    • prepare satisfying options
    • relish food - actually taste it
    • eat slowly
    • lots of water - sip all day
    • exercise: 3xs/wk cardio & 6xs/wk body/free weights
    • ask: real hunger v. craving?
    • just say "No" - especially at night
    • no trigger foods in shopping cart - none
    • ignore the niggling voices that make up excuses to cheat
    • fight, forgive, strive harder

Ah, especially since you don't mind me using your ideas in it, right? Right now I'm working on the idea that I'm not hungry and the fact that I have 300 calories left is not a legitimate excuse to keep eating. This fits into "just say "no" - especially at night" category.

    you

Good going! Which also means, I'm going to bed.

REST DAY. We had R & B over this morning. Ronan is a pistol...they started him on oatmeal this afternoon. He doesn't want the bottle or the sippy cup. **sigh** The kids read way too much...the pacifier was man's best invention! Along with Onesies! Please don't get me started. I love my daughter and my grandbaby...a lot!

You're so close to breaking 140, Chris, hooray!

173.5 for me this morning. Last night I said "no" a lot and was so tickled to see results on the scale this morning. Sometimes there's no correlation (you know?) between the work and the result. Glad that wasn't the case this time, because I really needed the reinforcement.
