    Hi. I'm new to this group. I love walking and LOVE Leslie's DVDs. I am a bigger lady and can't cope with many other DVDs as there's too much jumping. It hurts my knees when I try that stuff. Leslie is great and I've walked of 10 pounds so far. I try and do a walk everyday. I have a few DVDs and also her app. It just depends on my mood for the day :)
    Today I got up and did Burn 30 from her app. I am happy to say I was a drippy sweaty mess afterwards :smile:

    Welcome MelsLeanDream, Leslie is the bomb, isn't she? Congratulations on losing 10 lbs-great work! Glad you joined us. :smiley:

    MelsLeanDream If you are able to do Burn 30 you are in pretty good shape! That is not an easy walk so Kudos to you!!! :drinker: She has 1, 2 & 3 mile videos at your fitness level on You Tube that you might also enjoy. :smile:

    Look at you AnnofB -doing a workout with 8 pound weights!!! :+1: I need to get back to weights again as well, after I walk off these too much Christmas wine pounds! :laugh:

    How are your legs doing Pinky? Sore legs are hard when we are walkers that is for sure! :sad:

    AnnofB is right holl2596! A few of us have been around here for a long time and have fallen into that "get mad" trap! We know that is saps our energy for walking! :laugh: Sometimes I say, "OK-look, I'm tired, bored, lazy etc, so I'll just walk a mile" and you now what? Once I get up, I often walk 3 or 4. The key is to just start! Go for it-you can DO IT!!!! :blush:

    78 minutes aerobics today. 30 minutes of that was 3 10 minute Walk Blaster walks. The rest was Jessica Smith Core Cardio and Core Abs.

    Thanks for asking......my legs are still hurting. I am going to try to go back to walking more and suck it up. I don't know if this is part of my chronic pain rearing it's head. I am taking it day by day,

    Thanks Zichab. I was annoyed for not reaching my goal of 60 minutes but should appreciate 40 minutes is better than being a couch potato.

    It's a little milder today so after the usual clean the house upstairs frenzy, I'm off out for a walk along the canal towpath.

    Well done and thanks to all the posters - very inspirational and motivational.

    Oh no Pinky! I am so sorry to hear this. My sister suffered from chronic pain for about 2 years and one day it was gone. It has not come back, but she lives in fear that it will every day since they do not know what caused it. Be careful not to hurt something. :frowning:

    I managed 75 minutes yesterday. Off out again later for at least an hour. I've a full English breakfast to walk off. Contrary to popular opinion most Brits don't eat that much for breakfast every day!
