A return battle to the Carolina Ale House and the NCAA basketball tournament today. Have an new stragegy not sure it the healthiest approach but if I can keep the BINGE pressured from attacking tonight a victory is a victory right?3 -

It worked but not suggesting to anyone the approach. Fasting until you go to a bar, having a couple of beers and eating an Ahi Tuna Salad with dressing and a bag of popcorn. Then saying NO to the BINGE the rest of the evening. If any of you guys didn't read that article about BED {Binge Eatting Disorder} it was a good one. I printed it out and used it last night to remind myself of the issue most of face in this battle.

@hillmike56 - Glad you were able to avoid the binge last night! I know that method all too well, lol! It works for me too, but at the same time I'm so hungry at that point the binge is even more tempting. I think it's the "I went this long today, I'm not blowing it now" that prevents it at that point. What article are you referring to?2 -

I believe the BINGE used my EGO to talk me into the last 2 defeats. And maybe some battle fatigue.3 -

I've had a couple of iffy days. Neither fits neatly into the "Me" column nor that of the "B." So, I shall split the difference and call one for each. Hence:

The urge to binge won on Saturday. I am making a list of all the possible causes and why I was weak enough to give in. There are a few things for me to be watchful of. But the biggest trigger is home baking. My family members stop after one piece of birthday cake. But I kept going back for more and then the cookies. It is easier for me to resist if I have none at all!2 -

Binged on Saturday, and although I didn't binge yesterday, I was way off plan. I know I can't change what already happened, and today is a new day, but whenever this happens it kills my confidence and I question whether or not I'm even capable of doing this because binges always lead to weeks of struggling and eventually falling off the wagon entirely. Trying to look forward though and not let this turn into a self-fulfilling prophecy.2
