YaY for all those who have passed goal!!
Last week I ran and my energy levels plummeted TODAY I was fleet of foot, and got a PB for the route running negative splits!! What a difference a week makes.3 -
@kar: My kids did luck of the draw today in class. They had squats , curl ups, burp eyes, jump rope, JJ's and laps. Sound like we were on similar wave lengths.
I feel for you and your running. No half marathon for me. I feel like a bird whose wings have been clipped. But As K80flec said...it will be there when you are 100% again.
I like "burp eyes." Gotta love auto-correct.
The Achilles feels good. I just had a massage after doing both a muscle conditioning class and an hour with my trainer today and the therapist said she felt some tight areas in my legs. I need to keep with the stretching.
Walked indoors and outside today for a total of 3 miles. The outdoor part involved a few extra steps since the big, obnoxious goose with the open beak, blocking my path on the sidewalk, made me divert into the street. They make the walks interesting ...

I'm definitely not going to make goal this month and actually considered dropping out the last few days, but, you know what? I'm sticking in and recording everything. I've been focusing on trying to get more steps in and have been doing a little less stationary bike work lately. I'm going to have to possibly rethink my goal number for next month, but, hopefully, the weather will be warmer and I can get on my bike outside...we'll see!
I can hardly wait til I can get outdoor cycling mileage. I hear ya. Now if the weather would just cooperate3 -

I have a decision to make. My Fuji turns 2 yr old March 31. I have 2 years invested in riding it etc. Well I am considering scrapping the Fuji roadbike experiment and leaving it locked on the turbo trainer. I have started prowling around my local bike shops, seeing whats out there.

@anaconda469 - I have 5 bikes. It's nice to have one for different conditions. OK. Technically I have six. One is a trainer though. It never leaves the office. Even if it's changing bikes to get off sore muscles from the day before since the seats will be different, multiple bikes is a good thing.1

How come you get mid 60's? We're still stuck in the mid 40's! Not fair.0
