@clepant - thanks for that. It gives a very clear explanation of the root of to bonk or bonking until a state of:a sudden and overwhelming feeling of running out of energy.
I'm new to running and it may be common parlance amongst the more experienced runners in my club - we do have a few ultra runners .....
@anaconda469 - YaY to that .... the little angels can wear you out - and you put in 20 miles cycle training afterwards!! Fabulous.
The toddler is so fascinated by my bikes, she is constantly asking to see pictures of me and the bikes. I see a balance bike in her future. I will work with her to learn to ride. And maybe one day will will ride out together.1 -

NEWS ALERT: I have no intention or plans to complete a triathlon - you heard it here first!!
@anaconda469 - we got our two grandbabies 'sit and stride' balance bikes last year. I'm hoping this year to get the proper bike versions, now that they are more toddlers.1 -

Congratulations to Wanderan for making goal!
I went for a 15 mile bike ride in Shark Valley in Everglades National Park yesterday. Which puts me at goal too!1
