MFP net carbs

Can you adjust to the net carbs in MFP? My carb count looks high after eating a protein bar even though it only had 4 net carbs.

I just search for what I've eaten and add net carbs to the search, say I had a cheese stick, I'd search (brand name cheese stick net carbs) and I always look at the nutrition info before adding that way I know if it's right or not0
