I've been MIA lately, Still getting some milage in but the start of August has had my heels dragging.

Hi Deeder. Maybe you are like me and can't wait till this hot weather is over for good. We've had a little respite with the heat but only because of ton's of rain. And that means the humidity is awful. Hang in there!

We've had a break in the heat too. My energy just dropped like a ton of bricks. I'm digging in this week by doing a Fit in 15 challenge by Jessica Smith. Today was day 4. Gets me up and moving but certainly not for everyone. Today after my 15 minutes with her, I had our furnace replaced and I painted 3 walls in our living room. I'm over 10,000 steps for the day. :)

Great work, YOU! You are probably over 20,000 by now at the rate you are going. Jessica Smith is my other go to beside Leslie. Love her energy and her workouts are interesting and fun.

3 boosted miles....except I didn't boost them, but Leslie sure did. I love Micheal in this workout. He seems so friendly and he groves to the moves.

The start of August I only got a a little of 17 miles tracked. I dug deep and racked up 26.15 miles tracked last week. I've been doing Jessica's Smith Fit in 15 challenge. Today was day 8 and all upper body workout with weights.

@AnnofB, Thank you Ann for your encouraging message. Guess what? Earlier today I decided to dig deeper and get back into the Walk Away the Pounds Express series. You know... the home of our favorite "4 mile Super Challenge" w/o :o . I picked the 2 mile "Walk Strong" w/o from the series!
Then, just now I turned on the computer to post it and read your message that I was walking strong... now I am so glad that I picked the harder of the two DVDs that I was considering for today, and am beginning to use the Express series again. Again, thank you <3

I guess someone looking from outside this group might wonder why we like this ancient set of workouts. Well, it's the BOMB, that's why! It still delivers, doesn't it? Good on you digging deeper Mary. It's going to get you where you want to be. Have a great weekend, Friend! :)

    Aug 19 - 3.81 miles

Lol... see the pattern? I always get lots of steps when I have the grandkids and when I mow grass. This week is going to be super busy. Our small town of 700 has a one day street festival that brings in 2 to 3000 people. I volunteer with the museum so I get tons of steps.... Oh it is going to be a busy week getting ready for the festival.
