Ok it's time to get back to my Leslie miles. I have an extra 6 lbs I need to drop plus those pounds I wanted to originally lose. Come Sept. I will have been at the new job for a year time to get the rest of my life together. The new job was definitely the best decision I ever made its just so non physical. In a 10 hour day I may only move 1/8 to a 1/4 of a mile. Due to the non movement my core muscles are turning into mush. So I am just vowing to do 1 mile a day and hopefully get my groove back and move it up.

It must be the year for poison ivy a few of my coworkers have had it too.

Ok I pulled out my favorite Leslie DVD thus I am at 6 miles did it last night and this morning.
Solar eclipse day I am deciding whether to wear yellow for the sun or white for the moon. :D I think I will go for yellow more than likely it will rain and my walking partner is already bummed as she is the person in the vault today. It's a secure room with no windows. I offered to swap positions today but my spot is not prime eclipse watching area either.

    Have a great day everyone.

I added another 25.5 miles last week.

Well I can just about bet that I am not going to make my goal this month. Trips, birthday celebrations and what have you have taken their toll. Well, I'll just keep doing what I can.

Lilymay- Awesome work. Yes, I see that pattern. So many benefits to have GK's and lawns, haha. I would love my yard if it were flat, but the hills are trying, especially when the self-propel feature doesn't work. :( But it certainly gives me a great calorie burn. That festival sounds fun. :)

I dropped last week and only got 20.57 miles last week.
That bring my running ( walking ) month total to just under 90 miles. If I can get some big miles in these last few days I may cross the 100 Mile Marker.

Tried to do the 3 Mile Walk off Fat Fast but it looks like my copy isn't good. Got 1.25 Miles through and that was it. Better than nothing I guess.

Hi all, lately I've gotten side tracked as far as exercise. I had the grand kids majority of last week. I planned to exercise when they were here, but this time around they were awake so very early each morning and always hungry :p . Then the day would go by quickly.
Then I had to prepare for the hurricane because we were in the direct pathway of the storm bands after landfall. The unexpected high pressure in our area ended up keeping the worst of the rains away from us. We did have continual but moderate rain so the rain was able to soak in, and we also had a lot of wind all weekend. But when the weekend was finished there was no flooding in my area and only some road closures elsewhere in our city. We did lose power, but only for several hours on Saturday. Come Monday we had only one outdoor light to replace and I had the backyard cleanup to do, but no major limbs or shingles etc. Our trees had been trimmed a while ago and we had a new roof put on because of the previous hailstorm, so that helped us greatly at this time.
My heart goes out to all the areas that are suffering so much at this time in Texas and Louisiana.

No mileage to report but I have been fairly active since last posting, except during the rain when I read a lot or watched NetFlix and snacked more  .

1.71 trail walk/hike. Found a new trail not to far from my house. Fun to explore new trail systems.
