I started off yesterday at 149. I really wish Rocky would not bring chocolate into the house.
I have to work harder on will power. Or the lack of it!

I didn't mention this to you guys?? I'm so sorry. I talked to the Sun and Moon gods and arranged to have the total solar eclipse happen on Ronan's birthday! Can't think of a better way to celebrate, can you? EAT CAKE!!!
Chris1 -
Only 166 again today. Do not know how it happened, but sure hope it doesn't go away.
Ronan's gonna grow up thinking the gods favor him. I hope it's true too!
Tell Rocky he's on our "naughty" list. :grumble:
paula1 -
Great goings, Paula! So happy for you!
I was 143.4 this morning...forgot to post that!
Chris1 -
Starting the month at 192.6. I'll take it but I must be out of the 190s by the end of August. No more up and down. Destin was wonderful...ate mostly seafood...delish.
Good going Paula.
No more chocolate Shelley. You've got this!
Chris you're a wonderful grandmother...a solar eclipse...wow!
Kathy0 -
Thanks, Kathy! It really helps being retired. We would miss so much if we were working.
Shelley, tell Rocky to hide the chocolate. I did that once w/my peppermint...it worked until I tortured Patrick into telling me where he put it.He gave up so easy when I used my Mom Voice..."TELL ME WHERE YOU PUT MY PEPPERMINT..."
143.6 this morning. Okay, fine.

165.5 down a bit.
Kathy, that's great! You're almost there already!!!!
Chris, how'd sweet little you ever get a "mom" voice? Oh yeah, you're the one who gives us the workouts!

Kathy you are sooooo close! We all are cheering for you!
Chris that is so awesome about Ronans birtday. I will be so busy that week. No days off at all. Mom voice, muahaha! I tell him to hide his chocolate. But remember, I am a cop. We are good at finding things. Lol.
Paula you are right, Rocky is on our naughty list! Great job by the way.
I got in over an hours exercise today. And weight is back to 148.2.

143.0 this morning at 6:00.

Down to 165 - so it isn't a fluke.
Kathy, I love that you're in the low 190's! Even if its bouncing.
Chris & Shelley - my brain is a sieve, I can't remember what your goals are. But you weigh less than me, so it must be good!
Numb brain. MIL in hospital again. We got home at 3:30am. Need to go to work now.

Paula, how is your MIL doing? Great job on the weight going down!!
Our trainer said I could only get down to 138.0. I just want the tummy bulge to go away and stay away. Almost two week without junk/trigger food or salt. Boy, could I use some popcorn!!
Chris

Oh Chris, sounds like you're pretty close to Perfect!
Popcorn! I have corn cakes that taste like popcorn. I eat them slowly and let the dryness stick to my tongue while the flavor just sort of permeates my mouth. I can take one out of the bag (then tie up and put away the bag). And just eat it slowly while I walk around the house.
Don't know why, but doing it that way makes it satisfying instead of a trigger. If my tummy needs a wee bit of starch (to offset OJ acidity, or if a salad needs a little body, or when jerky needs to be thinned out), it does the trick. These corn cakes are super thin so only 23 Cal/ea [Real Foods Corn Thins (organic sesame) Safeway or New Leaf].

Holding at 165. Very happy about staying at the bottom end of my current bounce.
Paula1 -
143.6 this morning at 5:00. It'll be okay. I have been behaving myself. Thanks for the corn thins info, Paula. I just might have to try them.

He is so CUTE, Chris!1 -
He's a total Love Bug. What a joy he is!! He gives open mouth kisses...slobbery and messy...waves bye-bye...claps his hands at every "YAY!" shouted.
Chris1 -
Kathy I should have read this before I went shopping. Must get me some of those!
Paula I would love to see the 130's. But really I just never want to go above 150 again! How is your MIL. How is DH?
Chris that comment made me laugh. I remember those open mouthed baby kisses. Thanks for the trip down memory lane!
Got some concrete work done yesterday with my hubby and friend Chuck with my trusty mixer! We used 15 bags on ready mix. We put in a large lower step for an elderly couple for safety reasons. Always pay it forward! And Chuck needed a small sidewalk from his driveway to his front steps. Dixie and John were very excited to see us show up and get to work. What a lovely couple they are.
Must get bed. Night all!

My MIL is dying. I've come home to feed the cats and am on the way back to the hospital with some things for Derek. They've disconnected the monitors because it doesn't matter anymore. Just a morphine drip.
Gonna miss the first day of our audit. Some things just take priority. :ohwell:
Paula0 -
Paula, I am so sorry about your MIL. I remember when mine passed away. She was so good to me, and I still miss her. My prayers are with you and DH.1

Paula I am so sorry for your family. You both take care. Cooper belonged to my MIL. I miss her dearly still. My thoughts are with you and Derek. And Chris is right, audit be damned!0

Kathy so proud of you. You are closer than ever to your goal!
Shelley0 -
How are you doing, Paula? How is Derek?
