Great loss this past week. I know it feels great getting close to 140. You are right is very easy to make bad choices during the holiday season but good choices are worth it when followed by a feeling of accomplishment.

Why were you successful/unsuccessful last week? Did you stick to your goals?
I felt that I was pretty successful, stayed within my calories and went to the gym. We went to a wedding over the weekend though and I definitely ate and drank too much. Hopefully I can get my weight back down before my next weigh in.

Do you plan to make any changes this week to what you previously were doing?
I'm going to make sure I drink a lot of water, I'm probably retaining from this weekend. And I'm going to try to be under my calories as much as possible to help make up for the wedding madness.

    tarting weight: 150.1
    Weigh-in #1: 148.2
    Weigh-in #2: 146.9
    Weigh in #3: 144.1
    Weigh in #4: 142.8
    Weigh in #5: 140.4
    Weigh in #6: 139.9
    Weigh in #7: 139.7
    Weigh in #8: 136.9
    Weigh in #9: 135.1
    Weigh in #10: 134.4
    Loss this week: 0.7 lbs
    Total Loss:: 15.7 lbs
    Goal weight: 132.5 lbs
Goal: to lose: 1.5 per week, total of 18 lbs (by week 10: 15 lbs).

Still haven't reach my goal of 132.5, but getting closer. Added more calories back in, I am at only about 500 calories under maintenance, so my loss will be slow, and I need to be very accurate in my measuring.

Why were you successful/unsuccessful last week? The verdict is in, I tore my meniscus. Waiting to hear what the doctor wants to do. I think surgery. I'm tired of hurting, so bring it on!

Did you stick to your goals last week? Yes, I did well this week. But I need to be even more accurate with my calorie counting. I think I am super accurate, I weigh almost everything. But I eat out a lot where I have to guess. Ned to guess high to be safe.

Do you plan to make any changes this week to what you previously were doing? Just need to stay strong. It is easy to get complacent because I am in size 4 pants(tight) finally.

    Best meal: Chicken shish kabobs
Worst meal: Unknown calorie restaurant meals

What kind of knee surgery did you have? I think I will have to have surgery for a torn meniscus. I may have even more questions depending on your surgery.

    Weigh In #10: 164.0

Down 1.6 from last week but still up 4lbs from August.

Working on getting back down to 160 and then deciding if I'm going lower or not.

This is my exact issue. But I have to realize my body composition will never get right until I tighten things up and I’ll just be “small” with a gut and squishy thighs and an untoned butt

Oh and yikes about that knee but the pain will subside when you get it taken care of...hopefully.

    Weigh-in #10: 136.9 lbs
Total loss: none; I literally have weight up and down our entire challenge...SO SAD!

Why were you successful/unsuccessful last week?
So I gained a pound and then some...TOO much sugary candy and sweets

Did you stick to your goals last week? I did not skip the candy like I told myself I would and I didn’t log it....of course I know better. I had sketchy logging all week long.

Do you plan to make any changes this week to what you previously were doing?
Since I can’t get myself together I’m going to have to take drastic measures. For the next seven days NO candy or sweets. I can do this! Since I can’t stop at one piece then no more. This should be interesting.

Best meal: can’t really say I had one
Worst meal: muffins with my coffee
    Best snack: Chobani Flip Yogurt
    Worst snack: Halloween candy....AGAIN!!!

All in all, not bad for a stressful fall. I gained a pound but definitely got smaller so I’m just staying the course. I’m looking forward to keeping up with strong curves over the winter.

Such good progress! I too am in size 4/easily complacent category! I hope the path through knee surgery is a smooth one for you...
