Hello from Argentina! Here we are in a very cold winter, so it will be a winter challenge for me Very excited of this challenge, feeling pretty lonely on this journey...If I will not lose weight by my own, I am headed for a Gastric Bypass...sad. I have a lot of health problems. like INSULIN RESISTANCE, HASHIMOTO DISEASE (HYPOTHYROIDISM), very bad Arthrosis in my back, etc. It's very hard for me to lose weight but slowly I am doing it...so, I don't think I will lose 10 pounds in a month, but I will do my best!!!

I was pleasantly surprised by my loss. When I checked Sunday, I had taken a big bounce UP right before a business trip, so to lose 3+ again makes me happy.0 -

Wow! Great loss dward!! I know how difficult it can be when travelling, so you rocked it! I have a business trip coming up this Monday - Thursday to TX, so I have to will myself to do well, stay hydrated, eat properly, and get in some movement! I don't know about you, but I also swell like crazy when I fly.

Thrilled with a 7.6 pound loss this week - and only .9 away from my month goal. That .9, along with y'all, will help keep me motivated while on my business trip to have a good week!0 -

ALSO--next week, you are going to really benefit from an absence of crisps in your life. That is such a positive, long-term, step.
I am so happy for you. As you know, I too am a crispy critter. So I really know what it is you have done--and I know it isn't easy.
My favorite crisps were on sale this week; practically free--they were never that cheap when I ate them--but I thought of you and walked on by. So thanks for helping me stay off the crisps too!

I'm SUPER happy to report that I lost 2.6 lbs this week, since my last weigh-in last week!!! :bigsmile: Only 2.6 lbs away to meet my GW for this month... There are 2 weigh-ins left, I'm SURE I can make it!
dward: GREAT JOB on losing 3.4 lbs!!! AWESOME accomplishment in just ONE week!!! Keep it up! Btw, it is INCREDIBLY hard to lose weight when traveling. Great job on correcting that when you got back! :happy:

PLUS--this week is the first drop of actual fat mass!
If there is sad part to all of this...since I started measuring with a fat mass scale--despite losing 30 pounds since June 20, my overall percentage of body fat has gone up because what has been lost has been primarily water. (It seems that Diet Coke is not a viable option for long term hydration. * sigh *)
However, my trousers can't tell the difference between water loss and fat loss, and I FEEL great.0 -
