    Week 2: 8/08/13 = 220 (-4lbs)
    Week 3: 8/15/13 = 216 (-8lbs)
    Week 4: 8/22/13 = 214 (-10lbs)
    Week 5: 8/29/13 =

    I reached my goal for August, but now I think I'm going to try and hit 210 for even 14lb loss!! Wish me luck!!

    Congratulations BTL!!! What a wonderful achievement - and GREAT numbers!! I love that you are doing this right, being supervised by your doctor, and making it happen!! So proud of you!

  • I exceeded my goal for August. Yay! First time in my life ever to have made it. :)

    My goal is to lose 20 pounds per month, (under doctor supervision currently to avoid surgery for weight loss), so I hope September is a repeat of August! We will all be dieting through the Holidays.

    Total loss for August = 10lbs

    Not sure why they alternated between massive loss weeks and small loss weeks but I guess it all evens out in the end hehe.

    Hit the three pounds exactly yesterday, and didn't have a bounce back up today, so I'm keeping it. -100.1 lbs. Next goal for me is Twoterville.

    Week 4: 8/22/13 = 299.7 down 0.1 I don't care it's a move in the right direction
    Week 5: 8/29/13 = 298.9

    This totally counts as my goal weight! I was totally stationary yesterday due to being sick except for the 10 minute walk I managed!

    I am so pumped to see everyone meeting their goals and for dward for his 100 lbs lost! That deserves a big celebration to which I would yell and clap but I have no voice today!

    I am so glad to be apart of this amazing group!

    Well I had secretly hoped for 20 pounds list this month and only got to 19. I did manage to exceed my goal, so I can't be mad about that!!

    I love seeing all the amazing successes! Y'all are rockin' it!

    Needless to say, I vote for a new September thread so we can keep this party rockin'!

    THIS MORNING....315! I hit 60 pounds down on my 60th day of logging!

    The other numbers on the bodyfat analysis were a bit...odd...it showed a massive upswing in total body water and a massive downswing in fat mass--however, I am not convinced this is the actual case. (See: Trending)

    But weight loss is weight loss, and I FEEL WONDERFUL!

    Thank you to EVERYBODY in our group...but an extra shout out to our little inner circle of regular posters and players who make this adventure more fun than I could ever have imagined. (You know who you are...)

    I am the luckiest boy in the world!

    I also posted this as a comment on my check-in status update on my home page but I will post it here to see what everyone thinks...

    I'm unsure why the number is so high! I'm happy but a little worried. I have just gotten back into the diet and exercise thing seriously so maybe my body is just in shock and I hope that once I get used to things, the weight loss will go down to normal levels. But I have definitely not been starving myself and this is with practically no exercise. Please check out my diary and let me know what you guys and girls think...

    I feel the same way, Demarii. My final weigh-in for August will be on the morning of Sep. 1 too. I know you'll get it and then some!
  • Bird: it is common for your to have a big jump start if it continues you should check in with your doctor but I think initially it is acceptable! When you change your eating habits your body cleanses itself and dumps the junk! Your doing great keep it up!

    I didn't quite reach my goal, but 11 pounds is 11 pounds. My big mistake was basing my goal on last month's performance, where I had "first month" weight loss going for me. I will set a difficult, but more realistic goal for next month, and then I will reach that goal.

    Congrats again to everyone who reached their goals for this month, especially dward and demarii! You big losers!
