Shelly that is a beautiful table!1

Thanks Clara. The finish is wonderful.
Lol Paula I love your rendition of how they were arrested. But no not nearly that interesting. Most were ordered to appear and then arrested for probation violations. Meth is widely used. And marijuana. When I go to concerts in Denver you smell it a lot. Sure hope they are not operating machinery while using it. Still illegal here. I do disagree with small time users getting a felony for a third time use of it. But it saddens me how many teens are using it almost daily.
I worked today. Forgot to weigh in.

146.4 this morning at 5:30. Walked a little w/DH then p/u the boys. DH's knee is much better, so we walked a little more. DDD and SIL went Indoor Sky Diving!! Crazy stuff! After they p/u the boys, DH and I went and bought a new car! 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport 2.0T Ultimate. The color is Copper, the interior is beige and I am doing a happy dance! We are keeping the Sonata and "selling" the GEO. Somebody wants to give us $$ for it.
It's been a long day and we have an early R&B pick up tomorrow. This is DDD's last week before Winter Break. YAY!!

147.0 at 5:00 this morning. It was a long day.
Chris0 -
A new car. How exciting Chris. And whatever is indoor skydiving? I must look it up.
The White tail Bristle tooth tang is on its last day of antibiotics. It looks healed up. Now it will remain for at least a total of 30 days in chloroquine phosphate to be sure it has no bugs. Spelling might be off. Same stuff we use for malaria. We bought a new clown fish. Now I will have two in the big tank some day. The two I have are just tiny babies. The ones in my other tank are large for clowns. I wish I knew how long I have had them for sure. Over 5 years anyway.
Back on schedule. Sore today from weight lifting.Must have did something right.
Shelley0 -
This is going to sound really weird, but I haven't driven the Sport yet. I haven't driven any of the cars we have bought until we get them home and it is daylight so I can see what I'm doing. I'm reading the books now. When R&B get picked up and our trainer is finished with me, I'll get out there and threaten everyone on the road between here and the grocery store! Will keep you informed.
146.8 this morning at 5:00 a.m. Oh, I found Low-Sodium popcorn last night!! Should be here today. I'll let you know how it is later.
Must go chase Ronan down the hall now...need those baby laughs!

Baby hugs and new cars, happy holidays, Chris!
Shell, so sorry for the lost little fishie, I remember your stories of some of your favorite's antics. Hope your new babies do well.
I've been up to 169.5 (egad) but got it back down to 167. Have staved off carbs and feeling more in control now. Fingers crossed.
Chris, @jgundz is now headmistress of Ilvermorny. I think she's the one in Fresno I've been thinking of visiting...paula

Hi everyone.
Chris hope you like driving the new car.
Paula I have been fighting to stay below 150. Such a pain. Still getting in my walking at work. And thanks. I really like the pearly jawfish. Image an order in for another one. Will work on jump proofing the tank better.
Kids are coming over Saturday. Lots to do.

Welcome, @jgundz!! I live in the East Bay...in Oakley.
Shelley, I'm fighting to stay below 150 too!!! Must get rid of 10 lbs. After Monday...aiming for 140. Salt is getting me!!
I love my new car!! I love being able to see things!! I'll get a picture and post it. I did, however, scare Ronan half to death opening the sun roof cover...and sun roof window. Had to sit in the back seat with him for two days. He was so scared. Dumb me.
Today is the first day of DDD's Winter Break. We slept in a little...6:30...will go walking in a bit. DH's knee is getting better. Hope we get in a good distance.
Wrapping and assembling presents is the plan for today. The kids are coming over Sunday/Christmas Eve. They are spending Christmas w/SIL's family. Must go now.
FRIDAY!!!!
Chris0 -
Chris you just never know what will scare children. Poor Ronan.
Little Libby gets scared if we go fast. Kids are coming over tomorrow. Should be fun. We wrapped last weekend. I have a new pistol. Bought a Glock 43 for off duty carry. It is a single stack 9 mm. Also got 2 extra magazines for it. Just need to get a holster for it. Not as nice as a new vehicle but I feel comfortable carrying. Hope to never need it.
Hope your walk was good and that your DH was able to enjoy it.
Night,
Shelley

Merry Christmas everyone. In Baton Rouge visiting my DDD and rest of family.1

147.6 at 7:20 this morning...yeppy, yep...7:20!! Oh, wait is Saturday...doesn't count!
Got in 5 miles yesterday. Not our fastest, but not our slowest either. It was good.
Shelley, the gun and ammo are a pale purple and the holster will be dark purple, right? And I thought a car was crazy as a Christmas present!! Wow! a Glock 43!!! Okay, I'm gonna look it up because, you know, I have no idea what you are talking about! But I am glad you are happy, and I, too, hope you never have to use it.
For your viewing pleasure...my car!
DH figured out how the Blue Link works, and now we can start the car from INSIDE THE HOUSE!!!! Cool beans!

Hey Shell, She showed up because I tagged her in the previous email (as I am doing again here). @Jgundz is our new Headmistress at Ilvermorny and lives very near Chris and me. Been wondering if we'd visit, y'know how that goes, LOL...

Down to 166.5. City Hall is closed for a week - Derek & I have to put together a bunch of stuff for the landslide lawsuit, so it'll kind-of be a working vacation.
My New Year's resolution is to use this time to get back into a daily regular workout pattern, instead of just meeting challenge requirements. It feels so good to be in that mind-frame (cuz of the slight adrenaline addiction, right?) - it is just so hard to get it started. I might pull out the list Shell gave me many years ago when I was a newbie - doing a short 5-10 minutes might make it easier just to get started...
No cars or guns (it should definitely be pink!) or fishies or grandchildren for ghostie this year. Derek & I will repeat last year's holiday, which is Xmas Eve dinner at a Chinese restaurant and toast Helen :drinker: who will surely be there in ghostie-spirit since she can't be in body-person anymore. It often feels like she is near, but it might just be our knowing what she'd be thinking if she were there.
Wishing you all the JOY and LOVE of the season.
My dear dear sisters,

p.s. my brunette hair has always had red highlights so I used auburn dye to color the gray this time. It worked great on the hair that was still brown. But I'm completely white in the temple (top & sides) and didn't realize that would turn red red red red red (as in the color of Chris' car). Good thing it's okay to have any color hair you want nowadays.(Shell, I think you should dye your hair pink to match your gun.)
paula again1 -
146.4 this morning at 6:00. New Years Res starts tomorrow...back to NO JUNK OR TRIGGER FOOD. It really gives me acid reflux...man!
Paula, I think the red at the temples would be very cool!! You could be a Marvel Heroine and have a special power. What you your special power be?
Okay, if Shelley dyes her hair pink, I think her gun should match...otherwise, everything is PURPLE!!!!
The kids, Ronan and Bean are coming over this afternoon for dinner and presents. Of course, I went crazy Christmas shopping for Ronan. Some of it is staying in the closet for later in the year!! Bean gets treats and is more than happy. DH gets some crazy knife-thingy that I haven't wrapped because it's in a special-secret hiding place...I'll post pics.
Love you all!Merry Christmas Eve, my wonderful friends!
Chris

Happy After Solstice my dear friends,
If I had photoshop, I would show Shelley how cool she'd look with pink hair! And she'd rock purple too!
Chris, besides super-Grandma, what other super powers would you like? Which Marvel characters do you like? (I'm a Marvel superfan.)
One of my favorite's is tragic, romantic, red-headed "Rogue" who can absorb anybody else's super powers by touch. Not sure I'd want to be that angsty though...
Holding steady at 166.5 again today, paula

Not pink my friends. Looks like Rocky also bought me a pistol. So now we can both be armed in case some but goes off. His is a small Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380. I like the glock better. The trigger pull is smoother and much shorter. Now for holsters.
Chris love love love the car. And auto start is so nice. Here in snow country it is a must. Love that you are getting rid of all the trigger foods. Sounds like you are doing great and ready for a new year. Retirement suits you. I also like knife things.
Paula make sure you dot all your eyes and cross your it's. Them lawsuits are rough. But I am in your corner. Super heroines rule. We do need to get back into a workout habit. Not just challenges. And jgundz will be a great head mistress. I think both of our Helens are with us.
Girls I am not dying my hair. Though I would love to see Paula's new do.It sounds fun.
OK going to the new Jumangji tomorrow. I loved the original. Another couple will meet us there. And tonight I plan on being a bum. No working out for me tonight.
Shelley0 -
Hey Shell,I'm thinking of sending you a pink wig. So many to choose from! Hmmm...
If you like knife things, have you ever watched "Forged In Fire"? I disregard the "it will keel" thing (which makes me laugh because I can't take it literally even though historically, it is). But the craftsmanship is pretty cool. My favorite show is "The Falcata" on Episode 4 in Season 3. It impressed me so much that I "friended" the winner on Facebook because of their personality and to be able to watch all the beautiful things they make.
PaulaPermission to be sloth-ish today!
Merry Holiday!!1 -
146.4 again, so I'm a little happy. Got our walk in this morning, but that's it for today!! Our trainer is out of town and trapped in the snow somewhere...
Paula, love the pink! I think the very first one on the top would be great for Shelley, She could flip it back over her shoulder just before she drew her pistol from her pink holster!
Two guns is it, Shelley? Pretty Cool! What color is Rocky's?
I hope you all are having a great day!
Chris

Yeah! PURPLE!!!!0

Nope, just old black ones. But I love the pink wigs. Where would I wear them? I went to the movies tonight. The new Jumanji was lots of fun. The theatre was full. I was carrying just in case.
Chris I have been 150.8 the last week. Happy it did not go up.j
Paula I have watched one episode. They were making two handed swords. Really kewl.
Back to work tomorrow. And the start of getting back into shape again.
Shelley0 -
146.4 again this morning at 6:30. There is 'light' at the end of the tunnel!! ...now to get to the end of the tunnel where I will be lighter..tee hee hee!
We have Bean this morning. He had a puppy sleepover last night. We will be heading out of the park shortly.
Shelley, have fun with your new gun!
Paula, are you making two-handed swords?? DH would go crazy over that!
Might talk DH into going to the book store after we take Bean home...hmmm...one of my favorite places.
Chris1 -
170# this morning, ugh! Must go crawl into a hole and sweat!
