@vhuber - I know what you mean about losing your patience as you get older. I had a client tell the receptionist I need to learn manners. After about the fourth time of explaining what the options were and she wasn't willing to do any of them, I gave euthanasia as an option. She was not thrilled.0

Well the creek didn't rise but the kitchen sink did. We were finally able to get the clogged line clear after three days, but the kitchen is a mess and the dishwasher may not have survived. Not a major tragedy, but a major annoyance when all I want to do is take a long walk away from everyone. Maybe today???
Still managed to add 13 miles for an April total of 38.75 miles
Hmmm 7 days, 37ish miles. I can do a little over 5 miles a day IF everything goes well, right? Fingers crossed.1 -

Everything cooperated today for my long walk except the weather. The only nice thing about the grey drizzly day was I had the bike path to myself except for one runner and one dog walker. The cold and damp was a small price to pay for the much needed exercise and solitude.
Added 7.5 miles for and April total of 46.25 miles. Here's hoping for more of the same tomorrow. Well......Maybe a little dryer might be nice.

@vhuber: I get the patience of children. Some days I have to dig deep to find it with my school kids. It is good I leave teaching now before they ask me to leave...lol.
Speaking of patience, I am so tired of people asking me how many more days till I am retired. I keep telling them, how many days till the end of the school year....if they don’t know I tell them to get a calendar and count for themselves. I am lucky I know what day of the week it is let alone how many days left.
@Dean: I can only imagine what you hear in your line of work. I remember a lady arguing with a vet when she asked how her dog got sick. When he told her about germs she said that her dog is not exposed to germs because she keeps an impeccably clean home. I could hardly keep myself from bursting out laughing.
Taxmom: Sorry about your flooding issues. Glad you got your drain unclogged.
April 24: Adding 10.25 miles of terriblly sore knees. Not sure why but they are hurting.
TTD: 306.25 miles1 -
Oh jeeze....I just realized I forgot to update the spreadsheet today. I guess I was busy!
Hang tight and I will try to remember to do it tomorrow morning! I'd do it tonight, but my brain is already full from a million other mini-life-crises (depending on who you ask) all demanding to be dealt with at once. Ugh. Let's just hope I can shut my brain off long enough to get some sleep tonight. :-/

@Dave - It's OK. The spreadsheet is not a glass ball. In life we juggle so many things and they can be divided into three categories. Glass balls need to be juggled no matter what. The break when you drop them. Rubber balls can be dropped and will be difficult to control when they bounce but can be recovered. Nerf balls can be dropped, kicked around and when you get the time, you bend over and pick them up. I think the spreadsheet qualifies as a Nerf ball.
@Clepant - At least you have a retirement date. I'm pretty sure I'm going to die on the job.0 -

LOL. Next time give finding a new vet as an option!1
