Chris and Dave - You have my sympathies. Normally it would be VHuber and me with the snow in May. If it helps you feel better, we still have ice on the trails. Gotta love fat tire bikes. Hope spring arrives for you quickly but not so fast as to cause flooding.1

Yes, the tax deadline is past (finally) but I still have office clean up for the rest of the week. Somehow we don't have any hours scheduled next week and I'm not asking. I may be ready for more the following week but......this has been an exhausting tax season.
7 miles in 7 days. I'm looking forward to a hike Saturday God willing and the creek don't rise.

April 18 and 19: Adding 26.5 miles of walking, running and x biking

More snow and wind chills here in PA. I think we are skipping spring this year and going straight to summer. Forget the onion snow...just want to plant them.
On a side note someone broke in my dad’s house and also the the guy at the top of the street. He knew neither were home...I think it was the jobless, methadone neighbor who lives in the basement of his parents house across the street. His parents won’t even let him up in the house. Unfortunately the security camera failed because of a power outage and it did not reset. All they looked for were drugs and money.
I told my husband that I am back to packing heat and he is not happy. I will not hesitate to shoot so look out when the silent alarm goes off. I already told the police they are messing with the wrong person. Spent two days boarding up doors and repairing locks.2 -

Good job!! The meth is getting really bad on the reservation by me & they are NEVER charged with anything! Its sad cuz they are killing their own. We laughed but it really wasn't funny last week when one of my class members came in all shook up cuz at the stop light a native woman tried opening her vehicle door. She hung on as she drove through the light & the class member pulled over & rolled her window down & said "whats wrong with you & what do you want?" the methed out woman said "I want my sons crack pipe" & left when the class member called the police. It is getting crazy here. They are stealing & breaking in just to support their habit all while their little children are left alone.

Sorry I've been MIA. I went up to New York to open my summer house and got stuck in the big storm there. Flights cancelled. 24 hours in the airport. All that stuff. I'm finally home and rested but now I'm off to Orlando for a half marathon, for which I am totally unprepared. I'm readjusting my goal down even further - have fun and try to finish before the sweep bus. I think I can walk a 16 minute mile, right? Hope you all survived the snow!2
