142.4 this morning at 5:00. Day 78 of NO TRIGGER OR JUNK FOODS. except, I did have some Ritz coming home from the store because I was hungry and felt sick. BUT, I did not continue eating them and nor have I had the urge to eat them.

Paula I agree w/Kathy. Your list is inspiring and helps me see I'm not the only one losing some weight but gaining it back and having to buy larger clothes. I swore I wouldn't do it but I had too. NO MORE!! What LowCarb books are you using. I want to look into it.

    Okay...tired of goulash...must find a new recipe.

Walking w/ DH in a bit. Trainer later this morning. We get Ronan for a little bit this morning, but I'll miss a lot of it w/my workout session. We had him yesterday and had a blast!!

    Later my friends.

Chris, I joined this group and found lot of references in their ANNOUNCEMENTS section. There are a lot of different perspectives, a lot of choices. They embrace differences and support folks who benefit from reduced carbs.
One of my favorite posts was a woman who said treats at work didn't tempt her anymore. I want to share other peoples enjoyment without sharing the junk. It shouldn't be "giving up" treats. It is "getting" healthy (without feeling deprived). I already know this in my head. It will be wonderful if the body felt the same.

Instead of being mindlessly drawn to bagels, birthday cake & candy and thinking
Ooh, I wish I could have that, but I can't! Don't look! Fight!
It feels so much better to not have to fight at all, to simply think
Ooh, I don't even want that! I know that would hurt me and don't want it.
It feels so much more glorious to have
a flat stomach, loose clothes, proud stance, easy walk, less inflammation and more joy!
    I am so blessed!

Yes! This is how I feel now. I remember the last time we had ice cream and cake and how awful I felt after. I'm a little afraid to even try sherbet. I was helping DH pick out ice cream for himself and said I might have some vanilla and orange sherbet but when he offered it last night I said "No." Maybe on Father's Day which is right about DH's b'day.

We are back to picking up the boys at 6:30 every morning. No walking today...day off. Will do planks today because I DO NOT have a flat belly.

141.8 this morning at 5:00. Can't even remember having that number. Shooting for 138.0. That's as low as our trainer wants me to go. She said I have a lot of muscle now! bwahahah!

Have a great Tuesday, my friends.

    Chris

Walked this morning w/DH, then had the boys for a while, then met w/our trainer, then had the boys for a couple more hours while DDD went to her year-end party at school.

Shelley - yes!! WW ice cream! The kids liked it.

She has four half days left (including today) then she is done for this year. Going to teach 3rd grade next year or get hired to do Admin stuff. She's in training to become the Vice Principal at her school. We'll wait and see.

Our PT has helped me so much. She is really good to us.

By that, do you mean she drives you mercilessly until your sweat is pooling on the floor, your muscles are screaming in pain, and you're about to pass out with exhaustion?

Paula I love the way you have with words. Muscles screaming in pain! :s It hurts so good!

Chris I wish DDD luck in her continuing career. Getting away from a class full of challenged kids will be awesome.
