Well, I am not going to make my walking goal for July, but we have exceeded our remodeling goal so being the carpenter's (DH) assistant is a win even though it does not rack up many miles! :+1: I got my Miracle Miles set last week and have been dying to try it, but today was the first day I was not needed to hold something or polyurethane for hours! :explode: Leslie has combined a lot of her old bands moves using the new band, and I love the new looped band!! It is so much easier on the hands. According to my Vivofit, the miles are a bit shorter, but I think they might be because of the mini-squats and the standing strength work. I am anxious to try the others!

    Walk Strong Everyone!

@zichab Thanks for the insight on Miracle Miles. I hear a lot of good things but no one really gives any details about what the program is really like.

@Deeder522 There was also a post about the MM set in this group and @texasgardnr
and I both contributed some info about it. If you have any questions, let any of us know that own it. It's one of my favorites and I've used all the DVDs and I love the band.

77.5/77.5 Goal met!!! Did 4 and 1/2 miles today. 3 miles were the extra dvd that came with the Miracle Miles package. It's title is 3 Fast Miles. They are all 15 minutes plus a few seconds miles. The last mile is from the 5 Boosted Miles dvd. The first two I have not seen before. The last 1 and 1/2 mile I did today were mile 1 and 1/2 of mile 2. Whew!

It was a joy to skim through 8 pages of July's amazing and encouraging posts. I am so proud of and thankful for everyone who keeps our challenges alive and well! You all are such a blessing and encouragement to me when I read your posts. Thank you <3 !

And you all are really walking strong!! So many miles and goals being met. Well done, y'all B) .

For me, personally, the last three months have been interesting as well as difficult, in its own way, with the ongoing saga of my DH's recent, as well as some additional unexpected health issues, as well as an injury he had (which I'm grateful is now healed). But the best and a most happy time that has more than made up for the difficult times was visiting with our son and daughter-in-law to see their brand new baby daughter! (their first) We got to share that time with her wonderful parents too! That was such a bonus blessing. Also, of course, the times spent with our families in town have been a blessing, especially when those times include being with my other precious grandchildren.

    See you all in August...

    Hugs,
    texasgardnr :flowerforyou:

Congrats @AnnofB on meeting your goal!

Isn't that bonus Fast & Fun Miles DVD nice? It has great energy, yet it has an overall slower pace at the end of each mile. I like that one when I just need to get some steps in or don't need HIIT on certain days. It's also great as an add-on to any of the WaH miles/DVDs.

Hi @texasgardnr! Sorry to hear you've had some difficult times, but am happy to hear you've had some wonderful family time with your children and grandchildren!

I find now that walking not only helps me stay healthy and fit, but is so good for the mind in challenging times. It's such a great stress reliever and I love Leslie's cheerful demeanor, even when I've memorized every word she says!

Thank you for posting the threads for our monthly challenges and for starting us off with your positive energy! I love being part of this group!
