October weigh ins!

I'm feeling ever so slightly uncomfortable, nestled behind Shelley and her purple gun. Besides, it's me who has the motorcycle license, right? Shouldn't I be driving??
144.2 this morning - here goes the bounce.
Hope your Angels are happy, Shell. How can a Tang make them stop eating, just bully them? So sad.
paula0 -
Chris you made me laugh! But yes, Paula has the endorsement. So she gets to be up front. I will stand on the pegs and shoot my purple glock into the air. I think we will ride an Indian though. Because I have never been on one. And we could have a side car and you could join us on an epic journey across the states. Stopping along the road to stretch and buy fruit at stands.
Paula Regal Angels can be stressed by other more aggressive fish. And yes, that causes them to stop eating. They will eventually become bolder as they grow. Wishbone was only 3 inches and the tang stressed her. A small fish can even bully them. So I want them to have the tank to themselves for at least as long as it takes the little one to get about 4 inches. The other fish that are in there are very peaceful. Congrats on the weight loss. And these angels are doing really well.
Chris I love the pilot light story. Poof! And losing control is one of the reasons I rarely drink anymore. Not much ever actually. I bet you all had a great time seeing the trains. Thanks for the fun read.
I forgot to weigh in. Busy being a bum.

174.2 this morning. Headed to a doctor’s appointment. Been around but so much going on. Hope everyone is well.

REWRITE...
Shelley Paula, I can see you riding with Paula Shelley nestled behind you and me waving to the both of you from the sidewalk. You offered me the side car but I have no peppermint for my motion sickness and I don't want to blow my lunch on the side car seat again, so I'm sitting in a summer chair (I made that up) and under an umbrella. Your bike is a cool Harley Indian with lots and lots of chrome, a kicked out front end, and a gas tank is airbrushed with a picture of bad*s* ninjas, and you are both wearing a gorgeous leather jackets and leather chaps. Shelley stands on the bike pegs so she can see over Paula's head...being the short one of the gang leads to many fun gigs for Shelley...and is shooting her purple gun at the white puffy clouds strapped in a leather holster on her right ankle. After the Indian is warmed up, I'll climb in my bas*s* Camero and follow you ladies on an epic journey across the states. We'll stop along the road to stretch and buy fruit at stands. Oh, my!
147.6 this morning at 5:00...sigh.
I have a doc appt tomorrow for my foot. Hope to get some answers.
DDD is back to school this morning. Picking up the boys in a bit. It's going to be a good Monday!
Chris0 -
Nice rewrite Chris. I am sure Paula will approve. Still not so sure about the "nestled" part though. Can't be a Bad "ss" that way. I can offer you some yummy mints when you change your mind about our kewl side car. But the Camaro really sounds bad! What color is it to be?
My weight was up this morning. Had to of been that birthday party. The one Paula pointed out how the kids will remember me for.Paula I never gave having kids much thought. Just wanted to get married and move. No wonder the first born was only 11 months later! I can understand your sadness about having none. I just did not realize it was a choice you made. I know people who have no children. And I always wonder if they had regrets.
I am very glad you are close to your nieces. You will have to nurture that relationship. It is about the love that children bring. And the wonder of all the new discoveries. You are the favorite aunt I am sure. Wish I could write as well as you and Chris.
Shelley0 -
Maybe...
So cool...
Chris2 -
We need some place to put all our stuff. Ah, yes...the Camero's trunk will do! We need this car.
Worked out w/our trainer this afternoon. My foot is killing me. Doc appt tomorrow. Will keep you posted.
Chris1 -
Chris our highway patrol had some last time I was at the academy. Not very comfortable. But beautiful. I loved riding with my buddy in his!
Shelley0 -
Shelley, you are right about the comfort...none. The back seat is short and no room for legs. The front seats are down low. I had a '69...327...4-speed w/a duel-feed Holly and a radical cam...(whatever that all means)...and it was crazy fast. Should not have something like that if you are immature and drink beer. After I, sort of, broke it's engine, I traded it in for my 280Z. Now, today, I need to be high up in my seat and see what's happening instead of being able to see the undercarriage of big trucks.
147.2 this morning at 5:00. Going for the boys soon.
Chris0 -
Wow, I can feel the wind in my hair. Didn't need to used to wear helmets, not safe, but who cares when you're young.
146 this morning. Am bouncing 145+-5 as desired.
paula0 -
Chris you broke it? Wow, that must of been some ride.
Paula I went back and forth with helmets. I habe 4 friends that have been involved in crashes. Two had helmets. One was seriously injured and was in the hospital for a week. Ok now though. Two didn't wear a helmet. One was at fault and suffered severe back injuries, something was crushed. The other still does not wear a helmet. He had a brain injury and will never be the same. I don't t miss riding to much. Convertibles are in my head future though.
148 this morning. Have to stop bouncing!
Shell0 -
Update on my starfish. It is doing well. Moving around the tank, slowly, of course.
It is a Fromia red starfish. I did take a photo of it last night. I spent around 5 hours acclimating it. Looks to have paid off.
It never has to worry about being eaten in its new home.
Shelley0 -
145.5 - Not tracking my food online, testing my natural tendencies. Just making sure to eat mostly protein, and eat a little more than I want to, and I'm staying right around 145. It's all good.
Shell, it would be strange to live in a world where you had to worry about being eaten, wouldn't it? Glad your babies are doing well.
paula1 -
Had everything written down then saw we had page 3...clicked and lost everything! EEEEEE!
145.0 this morning. Going to get the boys. Must go now.

Shelley, yeah, ran the darn thing out of oil...messes with an engine. The dealer was so excited to get it as a trade, only I didn't realize it until later. I, however, didn't tell him I ran it out of oil. ...sigh... one reason I don't do car stuff.
Glad your fish are doing well. What eats a starfish?
The only thing about convertibles that I don't care for is the wind in my hair...maybe that's when you should wear a helmet.

Now, here's my latest question...on the weight charts...when I was 5'7" I could weigh btn 121 and 158...since this arthritis cr*p has blown in, I am 5'5.5" do I now have to weigh btn 116 and 152, now??? Guess this is a question for my trainer or my doc. Just wondering.
Chris0 -
Manta rays, some sharks and other large, bony fishes like to pick starfish off the bottom of the ocean, crunch them up and eat them. In addition, small starfish need to be on the lookout for larger starfish, which will sometimes attack, kill and eat them. I would hate to be on someone favorite food list.
I do know that shorter people should weigh less. But not sure about if you shrink. Probably? Maybe?
Paula you might want to go check the oil in your motor! Just saying!I do miss full serve stations.
Shelley
PS, the angels are doing super!

173.0 this morning. Hanging in. Dealing with a little stress and mild depression but will work my way through this.
Kathy1 -
Kathy, I hope you start feeling better soon.
145.8 this morning at 5:15. Celebrated w/ IC last night. Back shot still working.
My first FIL owned a full-service gas station just down from Knots Berry Farm in southern California. I kept the books. Crazy times! As a customer, I loved them, too. As a bookkeeper...not so much. Grease and smelly!
My trainer has put me off until tomorrow. Wants me resting until then. Might go to the grocery store. Nothing on the calendar after the boys are picked up. Was thinking about the recumbent bike but don't think my foot will like it much. We'll see.
Chris0 -
Kathy I have been missing you. Depression is life sapping. I know you will over come it. I get depressed by the news. I wish they would report about more good things. I always feel they go out of their way to report the worst things they can. I hardly ever watch it now.
Chris you are so right. working around vehicles is smelly. Give yourself the break your trainer says you need.
I am going to a ladies home tomorrow who has a large aquarium. You know I will be having fun.
Shell0 -
144.2 this morning at 6:00. Slept in!! Going to stay off my foot today and tomorrow except for workout today and a much needed haircut tomorrow.
Have fun at the Aquarium House, Shelley. We need pictures and a report.
Chris1 -
Kathy, hope you feel better soon. Depression is no fun. :noway:
Shell Have fun! Pictures, yes yes!
Chris, Good of your trainer to rest you. Glad your back shot is still working. Stay safe!
143.2 this morning.
Paula1 -
Paula! I am jealous of your 143.2! You are six inches taller then I am. How can this happen?!! Oh, yeah...ice cream sandwiches. I remember now, I better get my act together real quick here.

Hahaha
Great job Paula!
I do did not take photos. It was a beautiful home. Vaulted ceilings, like a mansion. Koi pond in the back even. Beautiful tank. Lots of fishes and corals. Very enjoyable visit. She feeds her fish only every 3rd day though. I can learn lots from her. But I will feed my fish every day, twice even.
Watched Grim with Kaeldra. It was a great day.
Shelley0 -
171.8 this morning. Hanging in but must start exercising again. It will help the depression and A1C. Also need toning really badly. May be gym time again with help from a personal trainer.
Kathy1 -
Good job, Kathy! Down you go! I love our trainer. She pays real close attention to what I'm doing and how my body is reacting to the workouts. Our gym would let us chose our trainer. You could work with different ones until you found a fit. We wanted female and were super lucky to get her first off. We watched the other female trainers and really...really didn't like how they worked their clients.
145.2 this morning at 6:00.And my calories were down even if my food was on the wrong side!!

Paula, please tell me...again...which diet you are following. It fell outta my brain goo and I can't find it!!!!
Chris0 -
I'm just eating low carb now, Chris. Don't add any starches or sweets. Just coffee, eggs, any proteins, vegetables, sauces, nuts, anything like that. It sounds odd, but you stop craving potatoes, rice, wheat...
Now that I'm at goal, I'm adding some carbs back in. Had an individual bag of pickle-juice potato chips which lasted three days (Wed-Fri), had a dried apricot yesterday, had a tablespoon of refried rice today. The saucy savory stuff is yummy enough for me. And having one of these treats once in awhile is nice. But it's like, nobody would eat treats 24/7 right? So who says you even need them daily? The magic is after a couple weeks when you don't even want them anymore. (And I'm so praying if you try this, that it kills your inflammation too!) Fingers & toes crossed..
144.5 today.
Paula1 -
Nice going with the weight!! And Thank you, Paula. That's pretty close to the anti-inflammatory diet.
So, didn't get on the scale that was sitting right there next to my feet!! It wasn't going to be pretty, tho.
OH! OH! OH! DH came up with a way to help my back in the morning!! A big bed wedge !! I'm a side sleeper and was worried that I wouldn't be able to fall asleep, but I had no problem. It kept my spine from getting out of whack! HAPPY! HAPPY! HAPPY! No reflux, either. Easier to get out&in bed. It works so far. Hope the result is the same if/when the shot wears off. We'll just have to wait and see.
Have fun today, my friends!!
Chris
