@anaconda469 Glad the surgery went well.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Meeting my brother and his wife at a restaurant. No fuss, no dishes to wash. Will miss when he deep fries the turkey though. Worth every fat gram.
2.5 mile walk

@anaconda469 - best wishes that this surgery goes well and ‘sticks’ ... chocolate milk shake for a celebratory dinner sounds good .... I hope it was fortifies with ice cream!,
@kar328 - that twice in 24 hours I’ve heard of deep fried turkey. A chap on the radio was talking about a 17 pounder, all in one go .... the mind boggles.
@vhuber - you sound so much better than a week a ago. It’s good that you’re a titan of strength and it aids recovery.
@clepant - take care of that poorly knee and recover well

It's incredibly good. Especially the skin. It doesn't take as long to prepare as the conventional oven way - I think it was about 45 -60 mins. You just have to be really careful and fry it outdoors on the sidewalk or driveway because it can be hazardous if not done properly. There are always videos of houses going up in flames. My brother used to bring it to a neighbor, but then bought his own.
Adding 1 mile of laps before I did a Yoga class, the only class at the gym today. I need to do more Yoga.

@anaconda469 - I'm glad your surgery went well. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving. Now I'm at Disney World with my son. It's been good to see him.
Hope you all have a fantastic weekend. We walked miles and miles yesterday but I didn't count them as exercise. Oh well. I have some catching up to do this week.0 -

Belated Happy Thanksgiving to all that celebrate this holiday!
@anaconda469: I am so glad all went well with your surgery! I have been praying that this be your last jaw surgery. Now let the healing begin. I remember teaching a boy in my PE class who had his jaw wired. He carried a special pair of scissors with him every where. If he started choking, we were to cut the wires to his jaw. I kept praying that he made it through my class each time.
@cvhuber:You are rebounding quite well and it sounds like you are pretty much back in full swing.
Nov. 21 24:Adding 40 miles of light walking and slow x biking
I forgot to post the other day.
TTD: 220 miles
