Adding in IF this month along with ACV + No Salt "Tonic" before each meal. One week in and I LOVE it! I only eat when hungry now (which is way less often than I realized.) I was really eating out of habit - WOW!

Dec goal: 265 (or lower)…I hit 260s several times during the week last month (only once on a record keeping day), but kept creeping up. I am hoping to have a net loss of at least 5 lbs (the net loss of 1 lb in Nov is rather underwhelming and depressing)
Monday 12/03: 270.4

That was a depressing weigh-in; not even sure what I did to trigger it. All week during my daily OCD checks I was well under that, almost to my December goal, and then from Saturday morning to Sunday morning I gained 6 pounds. I did manage to lose 5 of that by this morning. And then i looked at my 3 month graph…less than 10 lbs over the last three months. But, with that said, I am down 6 pants sizes (even lower than when I lost 130 lbs 5 years ago) and I fit in them comfortably (at least this brand; the other brand i got in the same size is too small still; but doing better than 3 months ago).2 -

I agree - many times my headaches are due to not enough sodium. Low carb is a natural diuretic, so your body is more easily depleted of electrolytes. I take a magnesium supplement, make sure I get enough potassium from food (potassium supplements can be dangerous) and also stay on top of sodium. If I get a headache, that is often the culprit - broth can help.

Well I've gone down a bit which is great but I'm not keto and I actually don't think I will be until the New Year in reality as I know having taken such a long time off I will be ages getting back into being a 'fat burner'. With lots of visitors staying over Christmas and a New Year away I'm not actually going to stay Keto and no good kidding myself and then feeling like a failure. So what I'm going to do is just try to loose a bit and maintain over this rapidly approaching madness!2 -

I've only lost one pound over the past month, but Thanksgiving threw me off. My waist is down to 30", and I can't wait for it to be back in the 20s (I was 27.5"-28" at my most fit). 19 pounds to goal weight! My parents arrive Tuesday evening for the holidays, so I'm currently planning the best ways to stay on track (aside from some planned off-keto at some amazing restaurants). My goal is to still be under 160 at the end of the year.
On another note, in late November I ordered my matron of honor dress for my sister's wedding in May! They only had it in red in the shop (pictured), but the color I ordered is more a dark dusty rose (my sister picked the color, I got to pick the dress, and this was the winner). Since ordering, I've lost 1/2" from my waist and 1.5" from my belly. I think it will look even better when I pick it up in March!

Today's Weight: 140.61kg/310.0lbs
Yesterday I had my lowest weight in at least 5-6 years. 140.3/309.4lbs. That felt pretty great to see. While I don't expect to breach the 136kg/299.8lbs threshold by NYD, I will hit it eventually. If I hit it early, awesome, and I'll keep on keto'ing on. If not, I'll keep on keto'ing on.
Good luck to everyone on their journey to healthy!2 -

Oh boy, so close to Xmas, so much to do still.
You know, I don't think I was this light since under age 12 at least. I still have some clothes from age 13 which are a size or two larger than what currently fits me. (*cough* Bit of a hoarder *cough*) I can't remember what age I was at this weight last. Wouldn't have been full height. Always been overweight.1 -

I went up just a bit, but that's better than what I was expecting. I haven't been to the gym in a week. It seems there is a function, concert, recital, or some other thing I need to play taxi service for every day!

I had a bunch of work functions this week and I've got so many compliments from folks who haven't seen me for a while- felt amazing!!!
When I first started Keto, the only exercise I was willing to do at almost 250 lbs was swimming. 20lbs later, I started walking on a treadmill and very slow jogging. This week I logged 7 workouts including a total of 17 miles running, 25 miles biking (single ride) and 2 miles swimming. For me, being able to do this, and being fit and stronger is what maters more than the number on the scale. However, I can see my fitness numbers getting better with every pound that I drop. My goal is to smash December's goal by taking advantage of the Holiday's to add more exercising time.
Happy Keto3
