Monday Check in
Calories: over, damn you mug cake I was doing so well☹
Water: on track
Exercise: 45 minutes of kickboxing, 6300 steps
I've been avoiding the scale since my last poor weigh in. Am trying to get back on track but I'm just not motivated since I'm not seeing results2 -
Monday check in
Calories: under
Water: over
Exercise: 50 minutes on the treadmill
So, I'm going back to counting calories and tracking points. I think the double tracking keeps me more on track and I need that right now. I'm also cutting the night time snacking except for what I like to call Popcorn Tuesday. Since that is weigh in day, I deserve some popcorn.

I was eating low carb for a few weeks and started adding some back in this past week. I didn't think it would make that big of a difference since my calories were still the same. So I think I'd better stick with a low carb diet2 -

At least you know now. Sometimes we have to try different things before we find what works.3 -

Adding back carbs makes a very big difference, for every gram of carb your body retains it will also retain approximately 2.7 grams of water and that's just for storing it as glycogen 🙊2 -
A very stressful bunch of emails yesterday saw me reaching for Christmas treat leftovers (plus side, nearly all gone).
However, I am proud that I bossed the kitchen, getting several meals sorted to avoid having to dip into the fiscal reserves too much over the next few days. I made good use of all the little boxes to have veggies ready to go into a pot, to make it easier for a one-handed chef!
Monday Check in
Calories: over, slightly
Water: over
Exercise: 9031 steps - so close! TBH had my fitbit off in the kitchen so I probably made it!

Great exercise day on Monday!
Don’t give up - try to focus on just one or two things not your whole plan. Break it down into smaller goals. Sometimes it can just be too overwhelming. What are the things you can do now, that you feel you have the energy and motivation to do? What can you do that will help you feel even a little bit of success now?3 -

Weigh in Week: 4
Previous Weight: 352.5 (Starting Weight 354)
Current Weight: 351.5
Great loss! Currently the moderators have moved you to the Drop List because of the no weigh ins. I’ll ask to have you moved back up. Did you want to change your weigh in day for February to one that might work better?
No Friday should be good now that I got the computer replaced....though I'd posted on the app but I have problems getting it to work so I'm giving up on that.0 -

Thanks for the encouragement @Kres567! I am trying to be more consistent with sticking to my exercise plan and logging my meals and not going off the deep end after one bad day. I am trying to find more healthy snacks since I've noticed that I tend to slip up while watching tv in the evening. But I know the key is to not give up!2 -

Good morning team!
The moderators have asked us to start polling our teams to see who will be representing the Mission Slimpossibles in the February step challenge. Post on here through the week if you are interested. Thanks!0 -
Good Morning
I think I speak for everyone when I say, "Our Hearts and Prayers go out to everyone living in those areas that are being hit by extreme and life threatening temperatures." Please, to all our friends and families, try to stay indoors and if not, be sure to protect yourselves from the extreme cold.
As always, if you are a challenger and you are unable to participate in a weigh-in due to an emergency or natural disaster (which this is), simply let a captain or moderator know and you will be excused during that time.
To those of us who are not in those areas affected, please, be sure to take a moment and reflect or pray for those that are...
Stay Safe and Warm!
Steve
