It’s not been a good week for moving this week. I missed 2 runs during the week (grandbaby related) ... but I did run a Fartlek coaching session! DH is not moving much, and it’s having a knock on effect. I was supposed to get a 5k parkrun in yesterday. A running group were taking over the management of the one where I’m part of the core crew .... as we got closer to the event it was felt one of us needed to be by the funnel to keep an eye on things. I have a 7 mile race on Sunday .... so I didn’t run. I’m about 9 m down this week. Can I bawl like a baby?0 -

@k80flec - bawl away if it will make you feel better. As one who has tested many new lows in race training, I can assure you that only your pride will be hurt - you'll finish the race just fine LOL.0 -

NW Montana was sunny and warm all day. They were predicting rain and it may still happen overnight. However, it was a beautiful day! Too bad I'm stuck inside at work. 13 hours to go and I get to go home.0

I had a little case of the "Don't wannas" today so it was a complete rest day. Will need to go to the gym tomorrow morning so the rest days don't start stacking up.
@K80FLEC - Great job on your run! Maybe your unplanned tapering helped your legs be a little fresher so you could run faster!
Hope you all had a great weekend!

@Dave - really needed that second saying. Did 2.2 miles before and during Boot Camp. It was a hard class but I felt really good after, mentally and physically. That was quickly down the toilet when I got to work, so that saying means something, I'm hoping to escape and make that temporary. The administrator did corner me to talk - I kept being vague with past "talks" but finally decided to go for it - and even referred to the bitchy doctor as a *kitten* Hey, might as well go for it. It won't change anything, they're all afraid of her, but I said what I had to say.
Anyway, the workout was a good way to start the day. Grateful for them and the people in the classes. And of course you guys.
Done babbling now ...
