    Thanks everyone :)
    It's good to be back.
I'm sorry if I don't completely read over everything I miss on everyone's threads, but it's been a while and that's a whole lotta reading! lol

    Things are good here though.
I've been actually in to a store once this entire time. Once I drove to the store b/c I wanted to get something, but the parking lot was jam packed with cars and I'm not messing with large crowds crowded like sardines in a grocery store.
DH has been doing all of our grocery shopping and so far so good. Made us some crappy homemade masks but guess that's better than nothing right now.
Better than what most people do.. which is not wear anything at all or wear a mask just covering their mouth.... like... WTF is the point of wearing one if you don't bother covering your nose too?

    lol... end rant! ;)

Feeling ok most of the time though. I didn't really go out before so I'm not itching to go out now and we live in a house so the kids can go outside and play freely. We're not all cooped up like some people are thankfully.
Just every once in a while, I start feeling anxious and like... just.. stressed (hence the junk food I was eating before)..... how frickin weird has 2020 been so far? Seriously... just.... WTF 2020?? Calm your butt down!

Woo boy those cheats were nice though. Being able to just pop in some bread and eat some toast. I was experimenting making bread too which was really fun and tasty.

But I also shot up in weight and felt TERRIBLE once I added in more sugary things. I mean like straight up garbage every single day b/c my body just can't handle "normal" amounts of carbs or sugar. I was popping antacids every night along w/ ibuprofen.
Thankfully after the first week back on keto, I was feeling so much better. Less bloated, no more aches and pains.
I know I'm going to feel that way eating junk, but damnit... why's it have to be so tasty huh?? lol

Uh what else. Daughter is out of school for the rest of the school year. Helping her with her school work at home helps make IFing a lot easier. We start around 9:30 and finish around noon. Also not having to wake up to take her to school is... it's nice. Not even gonna lie lol. I know some folks are being driven crazy by their kids, but it's just same old same old here so I'm enjoying not having to wake up early to take her to school or stop everything I'm doing, get my boys ready, and go get her lol.
I do have to work on my teaching skills though. Thankfully she's only in 2nd grade so what she's learning isn't that difficult, but trying to teach her things that you just naturally know now is... it's definitely weird and difficult sometimes.

Anyway.... IFing has been going well. Still getting hungry during the mornings, but helping my daughter with her work is a good distraction. And I'm only going until at least noon most days. Some days it's a little later, just depending on whatever.
I've stopped drinking coffee. Wasn't really a conscious decision. I just stopped wanting it. I am still drinking a monster drink in the morning though so it's not a clean fast or anything.
BUT it's working though. Weight I registered on Friday was 189.6 and this morning about an hour before I broke my fast my weight was 186.8.
I didn't want to become obsessed with weighing myself again, but it's SO dang encouraging seeing the number go down.
I also just started exercising again. Nothing much right now, but it's something at least. Bazillionth time trying to start it up. SIGH... I just wanna be skinny, fit and lazy damnit!

    Saw 186.2 this morning
If the scale keeps this up until my Friday weigh-in, I'll be super happy!!
I can actually see the loss in the mirror today too. My face and neck look slimmer. Maybe wishful thinking, but at least it's positive! lol

Feeling... pretty ok. DH is going grocery shopping after work. It's weird not doing it as a family anymore and I worry each time he goes out, but it's been working for us so far. Just a bit weird with certain food shortages now.. like meat.
We're still able to get plenty, but we're also not being picky with what we get. He was just able to get ground beef last week after it being sold out for weeks.
    Just.... weird. Weird weird weird

I just hope things opening up again doesn't cause more problems. If businesses just take certain precautions.. making sure to protect their employees.... hopefully everything will get back to.. somewhat normal.

Feeling good today. I was up about a pound this morning, but also had high fiber foods for dinner and hadn't pooped yet lol.
At least.. that's what I'm hoping the reason was :P lol
That was one good thing about coffee... it definitely was reliable to get things moving and out.

Food yesterday was leftover chicken thighs w/ hot sauce, fried coleslaw mix (it's just the veggies, not the mayo and all that), and ground beef burritos for dinner. 2 low carb tortilla shells, pimento cheese, ground beef w/ spices and green bell pepper, onion, romaine lettuce, sour cream
Also had salted peanuts and lily's chocolate chips.

I've eaten a head of cabbage for lunch today. Yeah.... whole big head of cabbage. I ate it ALL! Steam/boiled it w/ spices until soft and just enjoyed the heck out of it after helping daughter with her work.
Dinner is Japanese? curry chicken and... something. Would be great with rice but nope....
Will probably make myself a big salad to eat with it.

LOL... we actually stopped buying it for a while, but since we switched back to keto, we've gotten it again. I'm gonna have to limit my love for it though. So many calories and I could eat like half the container of it which would be like.. hell I dunno 5k+ calories lol.

Up alone (and enjoying every moment of it! even if I am tired!).... so decided to post.
    Was a nice day today.
Hubs got a bug up his but to just be outside. It was nice out so he watched the kids play (and do some chalk art with them, aww)... and I cleaned some of the house. Just some gross spots on the carpet and mopped the floors. I looooove the smell of lavender pinesol. Strong but not too overwhelming.
Anyway, I usually hate doing it, but it was very relaxing and also felt good to actually DO something too. I just need a little bit of alone time.
Just to do something by myself. Be by myself without my little humans asking for this and that and knowing they're being watched.
It was nice and much needed.

Ended up breaking my fast at around 1pm with scrambled eggs and slices of ham.
Dinner was pork spareribs w/ SF BBQ sauce
snack was SF pudding (made with heavy cream) and few slices of pineapple.

Hubs bought one when he went grocery shopping. I'm not saying no to fresh cut pineapple. Not keto, but worth it! I held back from inhaling all of it in one go lol. Seriously, I could eat like an entire pineapple in a sitting. So dang good. But I limited myself to little triangle slices here and there.

Should probably get to sleep. Have a giant pile of laundry that needs to be folded and put away and I really need to start chipping away at it tomorrow. Will need to muster up as much motivation as I can b/c damn... I don't wanna do it! /cry

    Nice weekend.
Didn't get much done, but meh.
DH hurt his back again though. He took the day off. Poor guy. He just started exercising again and was just doing squats when it went out on him again. Wish I could help him.

I started the very horrible process of..... folding and putting away the laundry lol.
I hate it. I hate it so much. The kids go through SO many clothes (b/c they enjoy playing dress up!)
But it had to be done. They were wearing the same handful of clothes b/c evveryone was too lazy to dig in the mountain to find something else to wear lol.
Still have a lot to fold still, but it will get done.
Did find out that my older son has like NO clothes.
He's outgrown so much of his stuff that he only has maybe a week's worth of clothes if he changed every day lol.
We'll definitely have to get him a lot more since he'll be starting school in august.

    Anywho...
Diet and IFing have both been going well. My weight is up some, but AF is right around the corner too so I'm pretty sure that's why. I haven't been doing anything else to warrant a gain.

Sounds like you had a lovely weekend babe!!!! Poor hubby, I hope his back gets better!!!!!!!!

I hate folding and putting away laundry with a passion unmatched even by the fires of hell :expressionless: LMAO :D

I am with you on laundry.....I hate hate hate that chore!!!

I folded nothing today. NOTHING! MUAHAHAHA
Seriously though... a big middle finger to the clothes I still need to get to!

DH stayed home from work. Took some leftover prescription pain meds we have (some from the last time his back got hurt, think we still have some from when my wisdom teeth were taken out, c-sections lol we saved all the extra meds) and slept in this morning and went to bed early tonight. Poor guy. I know this is so frustrating for him. Think I'll devote some time in looking up.. I dunno.. some sort of exercise that can help that area of his back.

Anywho.... it was just a big ole lazy day in the house b/c I did not want to step foot outside in no 90 degree weather.

Wait your turn Summer!!!! You'll get your 4 or 5 months to melt our faces off!

Helping my daughter with her homework makes IFing easy, but also makes me VERY aware of the time too. Makes me very aware that it's almost time to eat again and I wish there was something I could do to just turn that off lol. I just think that's how it's always going to be though.

Aaaaand yeah. Hoping things start getting back to somewhat normal. The whole meat processing plants and shortages suuuuuuuucks. Good thing I'm not carnivore anymore or else that would REALLY suck. It's still enough of a pain being keto though, especially since I can't exactly go out to the store with the kids to pick up more veggies when that runs out too.

GIRL remind me where you're at that you're getting 90 degree weather :grumble:

The end of this week we might get SNOW!!!!!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!

Poor hubby....the web probs has some stretches and stuff that can help - we hoard pain meds when we get 'em too!!! Never know when you're gonna need em! :D

Lol, I'm in SC. OOO snow. SIGH! I'm sure it sucks though when you just want some spring weather.
Temps are coming down here too and yikes, looks like some cold nice which sucks for my plants outside. Hopefully they'll be ok.

Anywho..... IF broke at 12:30 with some egg drop soup. Used a top ramen soup packet for the broth.

Not sure what's going to be for dinner. Either more chicken burritos or some hamburger patties w/ some salad.

And not sure why but my wedding ring is right on my finger. Not sure why. I don't feel bloated at all right now. I mean I know AF should be showing up soon, it's just weird that my fingers are apparently swollen? I can't see it, but I play with my ring a lot and there's a little more resistance getting it off than there was before. /shrugs

LMAO actually we've had some pretty nice weather here - up to 60s, and even 70 for a day or two....but these late spring weather dips are pretty common - doesn't mean I'm not gon' COMPLAIN about it! LMAO :D

SO i ended up buying some castor oil and MSM to try to get my hair to grow or just.. something.
I used the castor oil for the first time last night and boy... that stuff is GROSS! lol
The one I bought doesn't smell good at all, but the worst part is the consistency. I thought it was going to be oily, like veggie oil, but it's thick, and sticky. People use this stuff on their eyelashes and I have absolutely no idea how they can stand it! Obviously a teeny tiny amount, but BLEH! I bought it though so I'm gonna use it. I wash my hair every other day, so I'll use it the day before a wash. Put it on before bed and wash it out in the morning.

The MSM should be arriving today. Will be taking that in a drink.
Thankfully neither product was very expensive so I won't be out much if they don't work.

DH is better. Not completely but getting there thankfully. The last time he hurt his back, it took months for him to get better from it. Hopefully nothing else aggravates whatever is causing the problem.

I'm ok. AF is late, but I'm sure as heck bloating like it's about to start up soon. Hopefully later today. Get it over with and so I won't have to worry about adjusting my cycle once again.

    Last night SUUUUUCKED.
Fixed some meaty chunky spaghetti sauce like I have before. Italian sausage, tomatoes, etc etc. It was slightly more fat in it than usual but meh.
Well that maybe? Or maybe the hot sauce I added to mine? Both? Caused my body to just reject all of it. I was on the toilet off and on for 2 hours straight and a few times this morning too. My poor B-HOLE!
    ROFL
Seriously though... not sure what caused it, but... I don't think I'll want that dish again for a while.

IF is going well! Been happening a lot easier now. I do still think about food a lot in the morning but don't require as much distraction to get to noon. Next week, I'm going to start tracking again for a little while. I don't think I'm eating too much right now, but it won't hurt to see just how much I am eating and see if I can bring the calories down more if I need to.

Playing catch-up here :) So sorry to hear about your DH <3 Glad to hear he is getting better :) Castor oil..tried once but didn't like the feel of it. So, stopped after that :( Aww..sorry to hear about your toilet episode :( Take care! <3

Yeah.. castor oil is just... it's gross feeling stuff lol.
I think next time I'm going to wet my scalp some so maybe it's not as thick and sticky when I apply it.

The MSM stuff is gross too. I shot it. Mix it with a little bit of my morning Monster. It tastes like aspirin. But at least it's just a tiny amount so it's doable lol. Hopefully it works.

Anywho.. it's mother's day! Not that it means much since we can't really go anywhere (or well... choosing not to now that things are being allowed to reopen). But hey.... it's going to be a nice day out and my family aint so bad ;) lol

Diet has been fine. I did have some japchae last night for dinner. Unexpected, but it's ok. It wasn't that much so I should've still been considered low carb for the day.

Tonight I'm fixing myself some chicken crust pizza then having myself some low carb ice cream. I also fixed a low carb chocolate cake yesterday that's pretty good. Not as good as a regular cake, but it's tasty at least lol.

Mother's Day for me was iso style like other Moms :) Kids made pancakes for me. For lunch, we had steamboat which is my kids' favourite :) Glad to hear that diet has been good :+1: Low carb or not, as long as it satisfy your tastebuds, then its all good :)

Mother's day was.... like any other day honestly lol.
I REALLY want some fried chicken, but I'm not ready to have a cheat like that yet. I mean, I had an unplanned cheat the day before so /shrugs
So I fixed my chicken crust pizza. Tasted pretty delicious, but I didn't dry out the chicken enough so it didn't make a cohesive crust like it should have. It was still yummy though.
I then had a piece of my low carb cake w/ a dollop of SF pudding, then ate a pint of chocolate rebel ice cream.
DH could've at least did the dishes for me but oh no no.... he left them there for me to do today :\ lol
    He's just so... clueless sometimes.

It was a nice day though. :)

AF is in full force. I'm not super hungry like I usually get, but I do want to just eat. Might not make it to my regular IF time. THankfully it's monday so have school work to do with my daughter, BUT we did some extra work last week so she shouldn't have as much to do today. We'll see though.

Sorry the dishes didn't get done for you :(.......We did take out last night too, so there were no dishes LOL........

Hope you have a great week!!!!

Is Rebel ice cream low carb?

LMAOOOOOOOOOO boys are so clueless sometimes!!! Despite REMINDER after REMINDER my best's friend's husband still failed to do ANYTHING for her on her FIRST MOTHER'S DAY!!!! I didn't even know what to tell her :/ She was so hurt!!! Eventually it got to her enough that she said something and he felt AWFUL and made it up to her the rest of the day, but JESUS boys can be so clueless - Cedric forgot my birthday MONTH a few weeks ago in a discussion and we've been together for a decade soooooooooooooooooo yeah....boys be dumb LOL

Lol seriously and he's like that a lot. I have to make it VERY clear... I want/expect this this and this. If I don't... nothing.
It would just be nice for him to do something on his own without me asking him to do it.
    Oh well.
Guess I should know by now too lol

Yup, I 100% agree...boys are clueless indeed :( Even though our wedding date is engraved on our wedding rings, DH still forgets. As for my birthday, he never remembers. At least the kids remembers.

    Hope everyone is doing great!
Things are good here. Just relaxing mostly while AF is here.
I still haven't really started exercising lol. It's just... such a pain and I still hate it.
Ifing has been going well though. NPs making it to noon.

I still haven't tracked this week though like I was going to do. I just haven't felt like putting in every little thing that I'm eating. It's such a pain in the butt and I just wasn't feeling up to doing it. I will though.... soon... just not quite yet lol

And yeah... that's about it here.
Things are going to start opening up soon. Doesn't mean WE'RE going out though. Not that we really would have before tbh lol.

Ok... Definitely definitely tracking starting either Sunday or Monday.
Not sure if I'm eating too much or if it's hormone related right now but the scale needs to start moving again and I need to figure out how to get it going b/c holy crap yall.... it's almost the middle of the year!!
Where the F did 6 months just go??? Like seriously..... WTH???

Anyway.... I gotta make sure I make the last 6 months good ones. It's gonna be hard AF with so many holidays and birthdays jammed in to the last few months, but I've set a goal to lose 30lbs by the end of the year. 6 months to lose 'just' 30lbs.
With how my body is just.... really unwilling to lose weight, I think that's a BIG but realistic goal right now.
And to make sure I get on the right path, I gotta stop being lazy and start tracking.

When I have a hard time getting back to losing, tracking is top of my list to add back in - it forces you to acknowledge what you're actually eating and FOR ME at least, deters me from any snicky snacks here and there cause it's a PIA and annoyingto have to try to account for it LMAO

It's a big goal, but TOTALLY realistic!!! 5 pounds a month so only a little over a pound a week!!! Totally doable :)
