April Week 1
PW: 140.9 pounds
CW: 139.1 pounds
DOWN 1.8 POUNDS!!!!!
This is the 5th week in a row that I have lost weight which is unheard of for me!!!!
I am down 5.1 pounds in the last 5 weeks which is amazing especially since I am already in the normal weight range for my height and since my weight is getting closer to my goal weight which is when weight loss can be so difficult!!!
I have now achieved re-losing what I had gained from December thru February and gone beyond my December 19th weight of 140.8 pounds which I had been working hard to get back down to especially after getting February bloodwork results that said I was prediabetic.
I am so excited to finally be back into the 130s!!!!!!
The last time I was in the 130s was FOUR YEARS AGO!!!
I am proud of myself for what I have accomplished in the last 2 months.
Although I have not done it every single day, I have gotten back into measuring my food and logging my food and eating out less and keeping junkfood out of the house more often.
I am well aware that I will likely have a gain next week as I have already had 5 weeks of losses and the last 2 days we have desperately needed groceries but I haven't been able to get to the grocery store so I ate less on Monday and Tuesday simply because there wasn't much to eat but I am okay if I have a little gain next week although I am still going to try my best to at least achieve a maintain and to not see 140 again but I know it will be a challenge as weight fluctuates for many reasons and I am going to allow myself some treats the next few days. I had my husband lock them up after he bought them and he is only allowed to give them to me long enough for me to measure out a serving size then he hides them away again! That's what works for me!
As of today I am exactly 31 pounds down from my highest weight!
(170.1 pounds to 139.1 pounds)
(June 1st, 2016 - April 3rd, 2019)
Took almost 3 years but I did it and that averages out to about 10 pounds a year which is great.
I am kissing those pounds goodbye!!!!!11 -
Hi guys! Sorry I have been away. Will do better next week

@mmarch427 - great loss!! I love it when I got down a "decade"!!
@inshapeCK - a wonderful streak of losing and getting below that goal!! Hope it continues for you.
@Jonna13, no problem. Don't worry about that small gain. You'll lose it quickly!
@Craig_King_1967, you're doing so great!! Keep it up.
@missparisfaye, nice loss!!
Hope you're all having a great, healthy day!! Our team has lost 16 pounds already and it's only Wednesday!!
Love,

Hey everyone, new to the team this month. I am from Florida currently, but grew up in Arkansas. Have two kids and married 15 years today! Currently living apart though because of Hurricane Michael moving his unit two hours away and my squadron staying here near Panama City. So I'm here because I put on even more extra pounds while staying at my mom’s for two months and dealing with the aftermath of Michael. Also have a cruise and PT test coming up I want to look and feel better for and I was excited to see this monthly challenge to help keep me accountable.4

Last week I was down 4lbs so I expected to bounce up a bit. I’m going out of town for 4 days for the first time with my 2 year old and 3 month old. I’m going to do my best to stay on track!2 -
@mctiff24, Happy Anniversary!! So sorry you're dealing with Mr. Michael!! He sure was a pain. I'm a Florida girl. Lived in Orlando until I was 37 and now we're in Nashville, TN. Good luck on the challenge. We're so glad you're on our team!
@bdashnay, I sometimes do the same thing. What's up with that? You'll do fine while you're away. Keep mindful of eating healthy choices and get that water in. Have a great time!

A 1/2 pound loss is still a loss! Usually around this time of year my goal of a pound a week, turns into a 1/2 pound a week goal. My body just gets used to my calorie intake and workouts. I am still happy with my progress and just have to stick with it the entire year, not just 4, 5 , or 6 months into the year.
