@Nicoletime4me, for the next little while we will change the focus from "losing weight" to "doing the right things"....making good food choices and portion decisions and moving your body and working your muscles with no added pressure of making the number on the scale go down. Glad you have decided not to leave, but to try to work things out. It's definitely worth a try!!5 -

Week 5 run 1. Pathetic that I am so slow that MFP counts my interval "running" as "brisk walking". Whatever MFP. I did it. Outside. In front of people. I will keep moving forward!
@swauters, love your attitude!! And don't take it personally; when I was doing interval running last summer, it also most closely resembled brisk, or very brisk, walking on MFP!!! So after my exercise post, I would make a comment of what my workout really was.2 -

I'm definitely beat tonight! My feet are happy that I am no longer on them!
I convinced a coworker to join MFP today after she told me how badly she wants to lose weight. She asked me "what do you do?" MFP to log my food and participate in challenges, Libra for weight tracking, and my workouts at the gym before work! I hope this can be something that sticks for her and helps her! Maybe she'll make her way to the forums(eventually become a member of TBBT?)
Anyways, I'm heading to bed in a few minutes after I catch up on some of the posts! Congrats to all of you for an outstanding week of being accountable!
@cmhubbard92, just so you know, there is no recruitment fee, other than the good feelings that come from helping someone else!!

Another week maintained... next week will have to show a loss!!! Even though it bugs me that I have seen up to 2lb less during the week, I have to remind myself that I'm out of the 220s!
@cmhubbard92, loving how you are only focusing on the positive!! You have been doing all the right things, so there HAS to be a loss on the scales come next Tuesday!! Have faith!!2 -

@eatingfoodles, you are so right, that running burns a lot of calories!! Good luck on your 10K training and congratulations on your pound and a half loss this week!!3 -

Thank you! I notice my weight hovers for a bit, then I have a decent drop. I sure hope next week is that week!4 -

This is my attitude to running too - I keep waiting to get the euphoria other people do with it but for now it’s useful calorie burn and definitely helped make me fitter.

I am afraid this is the best it gets for me this week for the mini challenge. It’s all for good/fun reasons but I will be extra busy this week and will not have much time for the gym. Traveling after work two nights in a row to see a Canadian folk singer who never plays near me, so that means no home cooked meals or time for working out. Friday we have a “managers team building day” - I work in the beer industry so you can guess how healthy that will be. And then Mothers Day dinners this weekend.
Well, I am going to get up early before work tomorrow to get in one last gym session. I hope I don’t let the team down with my weigh in this week3 -
