Doing a happy dance! Last week’s gain was probably just water from the flying. I’ve been working hard every day and it’s paying off! That and not going too far off course on my diet.

Here's something I bought. Waterproof earbuds (plus a waterproof mp3 player), you can actually listen to music or podcasts while swimming laps. Turns a really boring workout into fun (almost).

Hi Marni...welcome to the group!! I'm envious that you're from Scotland...I'm obsessed with Outlander and all things Scottish...especially the accent. Of course, I live in the southern US, so I have an accent too, but mine isn't a pretty one...I sound very "country"...LOL

Yes, welcome Marni! I'm also an Anglophile (which for me includes Scots). We had a Scottish lass but she only lasted a month or two. Hope you can hang on a bit longer. Maybe if we served haggis or something?1 -

I only read these posts and newspapers. I read this to motivate myself to keep active and eat properly. To me it means that someone is out there with the same struggles and goals as me.
