    We have had an election here in Australia, so voted today, and the results are disappointing. Sigh.

    Happy Friday all! What does everyone have planned for the weekend?

    It is a long weekend here in Canada and the weather forecast is beautiful. Hopefully, if my dizziness is ok, I will get a walk or two. It is going to be very hot and humid. I have never walked for long in this type of weather before. I am going to enjoy it while I can because in 2 weeks we will be in Newfoundland and the weather sucks. Lots of rain, drizzle and fog. Even though the weather sucks, it is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

    I have done a lot of yard work and went to a beautiful wedding yesterday. The food there was good and I'm glad to say I didn't overindulge. I did get some steps in on the dance floor. 😉Hoping to get a little shopping in today.

Even though the weather sucks, it is one of the most beautiful places in the world.

    Recovery ... I had MOHS surgery on my nose May 16 to remove Basal Cell Carcenoma and plastic surgery to repair the resulting hole on May 17 (2 surgery sites: one to take the skin graft from and the nose). NO lifting, bending or carrying for the next 10 days. Pretty much no activity for 24 hours after surgery.

    Hubby went to emergency room with burning itchy legs and stomach. Turns out it was Cellulitis and he will be staying in hospital for a few days. I will not be able to visit him as I am still on pain meds and can not drive and am having difficulty bathing by myself due to surgery sights. Can not wash hair on my own per doc's instructions. My sister will be picking me up mid-week to get my hair washed and ready for my next doctor's visits (2 on Friday, 1 with MOHS surgeon and 1 with plastic surgeon). After that life should get back to a more normal routine.

    THIS WEEKS MOD CHALLENGE WAS AN IDEA FROM ONE OF THE WARRIORS @melissafeagins. HERE IS A DIRECT QUOTE FROM HER. "I know that last week it really helped me to tell the team my plan for the day. So, I am issuing a challenge to the group: Monday thru Friday of this week, please list two goals to help you with your weight loss journey."

    SO HERE IT IS AND WERE GOING TO CALL THIS "MELISSA'S CHALLENGE".

    POST 2 THINGS EACH DAY THIS WEEK THAT YOU PLAN TO ACCOMPLISH. IT COULD BE WORKING ON DROPPING A BAD HABIT.. IT COULD BE THE OPPOSITE AND STARTING A NEW HABIT... JUST POST 2 THINGS OR MORE THAN YOU CAN TACKLE AND FINISH EACH DAY THIS WEEK.
    NOW GO OUT THERE AND LET'S LOOSE SOME WEIGHT AND HAVE FUN DOING IT .

    I have a lunch date today and we are going to a Chinese buffet. UGH!
    My goals for this week are to run on my lunch breaks (exception today) but I will run after work.
    I want to give up diet coke the rest of the week.
    I also want to only eat what I have prepped. I spent some time last night cooking various things.
    Water... lots of water!

    Morning all. I planned to sleep in a little today but I feel back asleep after the alarm went off and really slept in. It is almost noon and I haven’t had a second cup of coffee. I need at least two to function.

    My two goals for the day:
    1. Go to gym ( weight day is focus on back, then run at least a mile and half)
    2. Make lunch for week ( jar salads)

    My two goals for tomorrow ( adding now because my day is almost over- and I can work on my goals earlier tomorrow
    1. Gym ( leg day with one mile run)
    2. Drink more water
