    Happy Friday! I made it through my first week without my pup....phew! So tough! My husband kicked me out today so I could walk with my two retiree friends and have breakfast together. He said that it shall officially be my wander day. I gave him a shirt that says “All who wander are not lost!” It was very nice to get out of my neighborhood. This evening I picked up my 55 pound DM pup and put her in a wagon and towed her around the block for over a half mile just to get her outside for a mental break. She was in heaven, sniffing dogs, having neighborhood kids pet her and fuss over her.
    So June 16-21 Adding 62.56 miles of walking 30 miles, running 10, and cycling 10.56 miles

    Dave, hope you are having a wonderful road trip.
    Chris, Hope your surgery went off without a hitch.
    @k80flec: I hope your head is in a better place. If it is any consolation, my head has not been in a good place either. Although, I have kicked myself in the butt, and said enough. So I am going to get back in the groove and push forward.

    Must share two mugs I had made. One for my hubby and one for me. I think they came out pretty cute. It was a belated Father’s Day gift for my hubby.

    @sussexbythesea - have a great trip!

    Things are slowing improving with us. Today was my "day off" from family and other duties and I went for a 5 mile run, followed by a 3 mile walk. I'm trying to get back into the green, as well as getting back my mental health. My running streak is still alive somehow.

    WOW what a week!!!
    I lost my oldest brother. He had a freak accident. He has been a cowboy ALL his life. He quit competing years ago but still trained youth & ran the chutes in rodeos all summer long. I would expect a kick to the head or an animal squashing him but he was trimming a branch alongside a ravine behind his home & fell over. He basically scalped himself on the way down & then fell in the running creek. He was found within 10 minutes but he was already dead. His funeral was VERY nice with over 400 people there. Yes he was very well liked & will be missed.
    Three days after his funeral we drove across the state to attend a nephews wedding! It was in higher elevations and it snowed at least 4 inches.
    Headed home the next morning to make it to a cabin owners meeting that was today. My husband serves on the board & he volunteered me to make the sloppy joes or I would of skipped out!
    Needless to say I am trashed! I have moved my butt when I "found" time.
    I also wanted to send condolences to both Char & Janet!!! Death is sooooo hard! Char I cried when I saw your pic because I remember doing the same thing February 21st.

    @VHuber - Wow! That really is quite a week. I hope this week gives you a chance to get a breather. From funerals to weddings. What an emotional roller coaster.

    I'm not sure why cyclist say shaving your legs makes you faster but then they ride with bushy beards. :grey_question:

    @vhuber - so very sorry for your loss. What a shock.

    Another 3 mile run this morning and a 3 mile bike ride this afternoon finally puts me back in the green. 58/75
