    Wow, so much has gone on while I was out! Rest assured I was with you all in spirit all the same. My heart goes out to all of you who've lost family members and pets, and also to those that are recovering from surgery and illnesses.

    My trip was very challenging due to the weather. It rained part of every day except for one. We got pretty good at getting our rain gear on in a hurry. Sometimes even before we got soaked. :smiley: There was also hail twice during the week, 50-60 mph cross winds during one rainstorm, sleet, extreme sun, extreme cold... but it was quite the memorable adventure that, after I recover from it, I'll probably look back on it fondly or at least with some humor. lol It was a good bonding time with my friends and despite the challenges we faced, we stuck together and always had each other's backs. Oh and I got to brush up on my "wingman" skills for the single guy in the group during a couple of outings which was entertaining and fun for me. LOL It's been a long time since I did that. He's a pretty good guy so it really was a pleasure to help him out. He hasn't had it very easy and, like everyone of course, he really deserves to be happy.

    Anyway, it's good to be back. And no, unfortunately, I did not get to meet up with Dean. We didn't actually ever make it to Montana. The closest we got was probably Casper or Cody, Wyoming. The Big Horn Mountains were gorgeous though and we got to see them during one of the few stretches of blue skies. :)

    Had two cortisone injections in my left hand yesterday. I thought I had cysts from lifting my DM pup all the time and started having severe trigger thumb but the hand doctor told me it was tendonitis and I have a nodule at the base of my thumb. So glad that he did not say arthritis. I have enough of that..lol. So hopefully this will work or it’s hand surgery to release the tendon.

    @Janet: in all my sadness, I never got to tell you that I was sorry to here about your family member passing. My sympathy. My head has been in a fog for two weeks since Finny died. Not getting out for some me time has not helped but I am squeezing in walking early and some easy cycling as well as testing my knee for some Galloway...walk/run for those non runners.
    @Welcome home Dave! Glad you are safe. Sounds like our weather here only you got to experience it while driving in it on your bike.
    @Dean: so true about the beard and shaving legs. But maybe Anaconda’s son doesn’t do the leg shaving thing.
    @Vhuber: What a shocking way for your brother to go. I am so terribly sorry to here of your loss and I am sure you have had no real time to process all of it. You are in my prayers.
    @Chris: Ouch to the back surgery. I sure hope you are feeling better soon and it is going to help resolve the problem you were experiencing.
    @2essie: Oh, I came off of the knee injection and viscous injections last September and a January. I hope they give you relief.

    Okay...heres to all of feeling better again.,,and me getting my head in a better place.

    Down to having one grandson for a couple of days. He is the ""ACTIVE"" one so he keeps us moving ALL day long! He ABSOLUTELY loves the farm like his older brother but wants to experience EVERYTHING on it in 12 hours!!! LOL
