So, something happened to my knee. I’m on crutches for the time being. Can’t put any weight on my leg. Doc suspects torn meniscus. Off for an MRI in a minute.6 -

I had a realization last night. I have been carefully logging everything I put in my mouth. Or so I told myself. But I wasn't accounting for the 'sprinkle' of shredded cheese I usually add to my lunch and dinner (I make a lot of fajitas and tacos). I just didn't think it added much. But then I looked at the package last night and realize I am eating about 100 calories of shredded cheese per meal. Yikes! I calculated 100 calories x 2 meals daily x 1 month and that totals 1.6 pounds per month that I wouldn't be losing. A whopping 20 pounds per year!! So today, I said 'bye, bye shredded cheese'. It was nice knowing you, but you just aren't worth 20 pounds.7
