I think I will be able to do all but the side lunges and the single leg dead lifts. My arms and legs have gone south so fast. ugh!

What do you have as you step goal, Shelley? Right now mine is pretty low, but we are getting back to our 5+ miles. Met w/our trainer yesterday. It's crazy that she has me do simple moves that I can barely do that weren't even challenge a year ago. Frustrating! I'm okay...

Nice. Will start as soon as I get home. Can’t do lunges. Murder in my knees. Have to save those for tennis. Speaking of tennis. Send good thoughts to my team. They are playing in the city finals today. I’m cheering them on from Amelia...hate that I’m missing it. I not in lineup but always love to watch and cheer them on.

Chris I strive for 10,000 or more. Who's this hard it I am in court most of the day. 😞

Kathy how did the surprise swim go? I hope your team does well. Is Amelia what you were hoping for?

Did not get my steps in today. To much fun today. 😎

We did 3.3 miles yesterday. It was too much, but I loved it. It took an hour 20 but that's okay. I am sore this morning tho. It's our day off. I'll be okay.

Worked out w/our trainer yesterday. Everything seems so easy until I have to move my body parts! OUCH! I am so stiff! We are walking, tho, and that makes me happy!

    Tuesday:
    60 minute walk 2.6 miles
    30 sec plank
    60 minute water aerobics class

Got my walk in early then went to the water aerobics class with my bff at 7:00 after she got off work. New place, it was fun and a very good workout. Lots of upper body, which I really need. We’re going again Thursday.

Managed to figure out how to exercise today. Had to unexpectedly take my car to the shop because my tire had a nail in it. So missed my workout over lunch. Squeezed it in after work and really glad I did! I did 45 minutes on the elliptical.

2.68 miles this morning at dark:30 in 58 mins. 21.45 minute mile...got a ways to go to get back to a 14-15 min mile. We'll get there. Saw my Physical Therapist today. She gave me some more exercises. That's it. I did surprise her with what I was able to do but... She did give me the okay to see our trainer three times a week. Anyway, see my surgeon tomorrow. Will keep you posted.

Chris - You will get there before you know it. Got a let the body heal on its own timeline. Frustrating I know sometimes.

We have Bella home now! It was a long 8 1/2 weeks at summer camp but she did and amazing job. This was a health and wellness camp and she managed to lose 30 pounds! Really fantastic. Obviously it’s a pretty controlled environment where you exercise and eat really well, but she seems very motivated to keep them into going. We had a good conversation about getting all kinds of good food in the house. I think the tough thing is gonna be exercise. Isn’t that tough for all of us?

One of my goals is to get artificial sweeteners out of our house. I haven’t ingested artificial sweeteners in a few years except for Gum :-) my husband is weaning himself off of them and Bella does a little bit. Reading so much about how they mess up your stomach and your brain. Hoping to keep working on this.

184.6 this morning....yeah! Looking forward to getting into the 170s. Not so far now!

Going back to the sleep doctor this morning to see the results of my sleep study. They did tell me that I don’t have sleep apnea so that’s not the problem. Wondering what they say about restless leg? Really been trying to figure out how I can get more sleep. I got an average of about 5 to 6 hours a night and that’s just not enough. I have a feeling that it is hormone related. I am 48 years old now and went into menopause about three years ago. Some of you know that drill :-) not easy! Let’s see what he says!

Oops posted this to the wrong thread. I really should drink more coffee before I post! won’t have time to exercise until the afternoon today. But I do have my workout clothes on. Hoping that reminds me that I need to do it :-)

Sorry to hear about the cancelled classes Kathy and Karen.

Karen I bet you are happy to have her back home. I always looked forward to their returning.

I also drink to much artificial sweeteners. And I know they are bad for you.

Been walking a lot. And doing some weights. Working hard to lose my excess pounds.
