Did 45 minutes of elliptical today. Great playlist on my iPod pod to keep me motivated!1

Worked outside most of today. Sadly it involved limited opportunities for walking. Lots of standing and talking with folks. I did get in a few laps around.
Great job Kathy and Karen. You two were rocking it.

Went to the gym with my family today, and then shopping with Bella to add to my steps!

Karen awesome day you had there. I was a total bum today. Just needed a rest day. Took the dogs for a walk this morning. Made a large pan of brownies for our annual picnic for the car club. Worked on the aquariums some. Moved some snails, feather duster and a starfish out of quarantine. Hope they like their new home.
Talked with a lady on our wall about her dog. She took him to a trainer and highly recommended her. She is not to far away. She has several different classes for dogs. We are looking into her keeping him for 2 weeks. Then we would have access to her other classes at no further costs. She had aggression problems with her dog also. Fingers crossed.

Sunday:
Water aerobics- 60 minutes
This class is at the swim center where I take lessons. The instructor is awesome! After 60 minutes with her you know youโve had a total body workout! Going back tonight.

Monday - so one of my Bella's favorite activities at summer camp was Zumba. So last night she did a Zumba class here at home for my husband and I. Besides being hilarious it was a really good workout. Trying to keep the kiddo moving :-)

You guys are awesome! As someone whoโs struggled my entire life with weight I get it. Keeping Bella moving is so important...she will learn to love exercise. Sending positive thoughts your way!

Thanks Kathy.
She's worked so hard this summer. Trying to help her keep it up.
Didn't get to workout today....had to leave work early in time to drive home to grab bella and bring to her therapist. But...we wound up being 40 mins early...so we went for a walk to get some steps in!
Karen0 -
Are there any zumba atomic classes she can take in your area? Good luck and keep moving.
Still walking lots. Some days more than others.
Shelley0 -
We walked this morning for a little over a mile in about 25 mins. It was still dark out but a nice morning.
Chris1 -
We'll walk for 30 mins this morning. Maybe more tomorrow. DH is being very careful with me. I did see our trainer yesterday. She is also being very careful with me. I'm just happy doing things again!
Chris1 -
Chris so glad to see you again. Hope you are feeling better. Good thing they are being careful with you. I have a purple taser somewhere. ๐
156.6. This morning. Did a lot of walking. Jogged some with Barney and ended on the treadmill. 1100 steps today.
Shelley0 -
Shelley, I thinks your steps need another ZERO at the end...Good job!
We walked for an hour this morning. Got 3.2 miles done. Got to get back to 5 miles in that same time. Hoping to be a bit faster tomorrow. We shall see. Our trainer is starting to kick up my workouts. I like it. I do better when I don't think about where I was before all this cr*p started. **sigh**

Tuesday:
Got in 2.3 mile walk before it started raining.
Kathy1 -
Wednesday:
Recumbent bike - 60 minutes - 14.3 miles
Kathy1 -
We got 2.8 miles done in an hour at 5:00 A.M.!!!! It was still dark.
Chris1 -
40 minutes of elliptical today....so glad I fit it in!
Karen0 -
Amazing everyone. You are all my besties. You all inspire me to keep moving.
Chris my feet hurt. I got in 13,567 steps today. I was going for that extra zero for you. But no way, nada! You will have to get it in. ๐
Trial is done. He was acquitted. Oh well, he will be back.
Shelley1 -
Shelley, good job on your steps! I get excited at 10,000 these days! Got it yesterday...7,442 so far this morning. The 'extra zero' came from your post above mine...you have 1100 steps, I thought you meant it to be 11,000, so needed an extra zero. I can get 1100 just getting up and going to the bathroom 10 times in the night...
ugh!
We got 2.71 miles in an hour this morning. The docs have taken away all my OTC vitamins and minerals and joint pain pills for the procedure on Tuesday, and I am feeling the effects of no joint pain pills...ugh! Going to keep walking, tho. I'm going to have an orange cream bar for dessert tonight!
Chris1 -
Chris you are so correct. I thought you were spurring me into impossible amounts. But nope, just teaching me simple math. Muahaha. ๐. Today is 9677 right now. No treadmill tonight. Spending time with my pups.
Rocky would feel for you in the pain department. That was his biggest complaint. He always has to stop all painkillers and things. I feel for you. Did I miss you talking about a procedure? Must go back and read.
Rocky is having fun with his friends at the mustang rally.

Well, the back procedure went well as far as we can tell. The wound is weeping just a little, but everyone is okay with that. The doc will order x-rays before our next phone conversation on Oct 16th.
This last trip to ER, Aug 15th, was for another bowel obstruction. Nasty procedure...I never want to go through that again. The procedure coming up on Tuesday Sept 3rd is a colonoscopy. Never had one...not looking forward to everything I have to drink or do or let the docs do...I just want to cry.
Worked w/our trainer for 60 mins. It was a good workout.

Chris I feel for you. Just had my first one right after our 40th anniversary. I got through the first dose and drank all the water I needed to. Actually it was mostly a clear soda. But the second dose had me worried. I should have quit before the last little bit. It all came back up! Then I worried they would not be able to do the procedure. I kept drinking clear liquids anyway. Turned out I was clean enough. And apparently that was not so unusual. So go slowly and try not to drink so much that you puke. Better to get most of that vile stuff down than to have it all come back up trying to drink the last little bit.
Then I got to keep my socks on, had a nice little nap. Woke up and insisted I could dress myself and went home. I fretted over it for years. Still don't want to do it again. But it was not as bad as I feared. I did request a female doctor though. ๐๐

And I hope the back procedure helps also. Fingers crossed.
Shelley0 -
Wish I'd thought about requesting a female doc...but I didn't...sigh...I'll be fine. Thanks for the drinking tip. I'll be careful. Only have two hours to down the last stuff on Tuesday.
Chris1 -
Rocky was surprised I had a female. He didn't know there was one who did colonoscopies in Casper. I am a bit surprised that you are drinking anything the day of the procedure. Is your procedure late in the day?
You will be fine. And if nothing is found you won't have to do it again for years. ๐ฏ

Hi Shelley & Chris! You guys are rockstars! Keep up the great work! We went to an amusement park yesterday which helped with steps. Heading to the gym now for a workout this holiday. Better go before it closes at 1pm! Enjoy!
