VERDICT: Not a bad month considering the many heavy-food days I've had. Onwards and... well, downwards! See you all in September

Good for you. You’re on the right track, just keep on trucking!

    Checking in...

    SW: 137.4
GW by end of August: 132
    GW final: 120

    8/5 - 135.6
    8/20 - 133
    8/26 134.4

I had a weekend away and that made it harder to eat well. Did better at work today with not eating as many treats! We'll see how my final weigh in (9/1) goes!
Even though I may not make my August goal, I'm still encouraged by my weight loss. Slow and steady, right? :)

I'm already on a daily thread under Challenges. So, I'll check in here weekly.

    SW: 74.6 kg
    GW: 72 kg

Goal #1: Bike to work 2 times a week - a total of 66 km a day with an electric bike
Goal #2: Stay around my goal calories, regardless of extra exercise
Goal #3: Prep for homework days

Week 1: got all three goals, but I gained some weight back, thus still 74.6 this morning

Ok, so I met all three goals last week, and I've added the 100 push-up challenge. This morning I was at 75.9 !
I know I shouldn't focus on the number on the scale, but it is starting to get a bit discouraging. I just had a weekend with a family bbq, where my daily total was around 2.000 kcal, and yesterday I was around 1.800 kcal dealing with leftovers, but that should be no reason to have gained more than a full kilo when all the other days I had a big deficit.
My body isn't reacting as it should (and I know it well by know) and that is frustrating.

Ow well ... I'll stop the rant and just get on with it I guess.

    72.4
I got my goals last week, except only one bike to work, as my bike needed repair so I had to skip my last ride. I'm also still doing the pushup challenge, still on the knees but it's a start.
Weightwise, I've lost a whopping 3.5 kilo's in one week, which isn't possible so I'm now pretty sure that last week was just a wonky number on the scale.
I also got 3 dives in, and I made up with a very dear friend, so life is good at this moment

    72.9
But yesterday it was 72.2, so I'm not discouraged.
I got my goals last week, except one day of the pushup challenge that I planned doing yesterday, but then the day got way better than expected. We were having lunch with a group of friends, and there was so much excellent food and the weather was so nice that we ended up lounging in the garden until late at night. So I skipped my pushups, but it was totally worth it. This morning, I filled in my cals of yesterday and where I thought I would end up around 3.000, I ended up with 1.600. Skipping the booze made a big difference, haha ! :-)
It also made me realise that I can participate in a big fest, and still making good choices without feeling deprived in the least.
Now back to work with a lot of caffeine !

    72.5
Last weekly checkin of August! I didn’t meet my final August goal, but I was under 72 the last two days, I’m still on track. Yesterday I had two extremely strenuous dives and I guess that my sore muscles are the reason my weight went up a bit.

    Goal 1: I totally nailed it! 3 times bike2work for a total of 200 km / 125 miles: yay me 🥳

    Goal 2: check!

Goal 3: that was a hard one. I got mega cravings for hours, I was extremely restless and then I got hangry. I did not give in to the cravings, and ate a small jelly sandwich before dinner. Goal met, but barely!

Extra goal: the push-up challenge: slower than the original plan but still doing it!

Ik I'm a bit late, but here's my final...

    SW: 137.4
GW by end of August: 132
    GW final: 120

    8/5 - 135.6
    8/20 - 133
    8/26 134.4
    9/3 - 134!

So lost 3.4 lbs by end of month. Didn't reach my total goal, but I'm ok with that! I think this is great progress. Onto September!!
