149.8 Took off most of what I put on after making a peach blueberry cake. It was worth it though. Doing really good today. Getting in some cardio and weight training tonight.
Karen glad we could meet up on the Fitbit!:drinker:

188 this morning. Too much salt not enough water.
Today is my mother’s 83rd birthday. I’m headed her way and I’m surprising her with a trip to Atlanta Botanical Gardens. The exhibits are always beautiful and I know she will love it. We will follow with lunch. It’s going to be a good day! Should get in a good walk.
Kathy0 -
Kathy that sounds beautiful. I am sure she will love spending all day with her daughter. Have fun.
Love the new photo! Wish I was as photographic as you are.
Karen I know what you mean. I have been stuck standing in court all morning.
Shelley
PS, my scales are wacky this morning. Trying to calibrate them.0 -
Kathy that sounds like a blast. Hope you have fun with your mom.
Did not walk this morning. Horrible night. Could not get up at 4:00 a.m. then all of a sudden it was 5:30 and I had no choice. And now my stomach is having fits. We have to leave at 12:15 to be in Vacaville for my surgeon's appt. at 1:30. A long drive with an angry stomach is not what I'm looking forward to.
142.8 this morning at 6:00. My scale has been all over the place. ugh!
Got my fingers crossed that today goes alright and my stomach clears up.

188.2 this morning. The scale is not moving. Need to move even more.
Chris - take care p. Hope you’re better this morning. And good luck with your doctor’s visit.

Okay...in the hospital again...obstructed bowel again. So nasty. This is going to mean an entire menu fix. Something's wrong.
Chris1 -
Chris - oh no..sending healing thoughts!!
Karen1 -
184.2 this morning....every ounce is a triumph! Been on track with my goal of at least a 16-8 fast every day in August. Got to a 20 hour fast on Tuesday.
Off to take mom for a medical test at the hospital. She’s having some circulation issues. She’s less than thrilled with a 7am appointment,
Happy Friday!
Karen1 -
187.6 this morning. Karen I agree...every ounce counts...I’ll take it.
Chris - sending positive thought your way. Take care.
Kathy2 -
Chris sending hugs and prayers your way. I do hope they/you come up with a fix.
Karen glad you are managing to stay the course. It can be rocky at times.
Kathy I sure wish I could have been with you guys. And every ounce does count! I just always hope mine are a negative. Muahaha
148.6 this morning. Following the calories that my Fitbit say I have. Had to get on the treadmill Wednesday night to get rid of a calories worth of cookies. That took an hour of steady brisk walking. Might have been easier to not have eaten them sweets.....but not as much fun!
Shell1 -
187.2 this morning.
Kathy0 -
Nice loss Kathy. Every ounce counts!
I am 148.6 for the second day in a row. I am good with that. 😺
Chris how are you doing? I hope they did not have to do surgery.
Shelley0 -
186.8 this morning. It’s so nice to no longer see the 190s. Too close to 200. I don’t ever want to see that again...I’ve worked too hard.
So Wednesday my two best friends and I are taking what has become our annual trip to celebrate our birthdays. It sort of just happened and we have so much fun. This year we are going to NYC for shopping, touring, food and a Broadway show. One of the ladies birthday actually falls on the Saturday we are there and she wants to go to Harlem To tour, have her birthday dinner and visit the Apollo Theater. We are also going to see “Ain’t to Proud” the story of the Temptations. It was nominated for a Tony Award. My first trip to NYC. Definitely going to Central Park to walk. I expect to get in a lot of walking to counter the eating.our hotel is in Time Square. Should be interesting. We are back on Monday. Should be an interesting trip.
Have a great week ladies!

143.0 this morning at 5:30.
Thank you guys for your kind thoughts.
Doing okay. Came home yesterday. Not a lot of energy but getting better. Going to try to walk a little tomorrow morning. Thirty minutes, instead of the hour we were doing, should be fine. Don't want to do that again.
Chris2 -
Chris you scared me. Don't do that again!
Kathy that sounds like a hoot.0 -
Kathy - have an awesome time in New York! One of my favorite places to go. Make sure you hydrate it's going to be a hot one today!
183.8 today....yeah!
Karen1 -
Good job, Karen!
Shelley, I've had so many surgeries over the years...car hitting me when I was 16...bad internal damage, appendix, gallbladder, aneurysm of the descending aorta, C-section...there might be more...Anyway, they think that all the scar tissue contributes to the problem. Right now I'm trying to be so careful of what I eat. All my favorites are gone unless cooked to mush and chewed 100 times. Pat found an article about physical therapy for this particular problem...in San Francisco or Oakland, that we might look into. He'll do more research. Expensive...Very Expensive. But...if it works...???
Didn't walk this morning, going to try tomorrow morning. Hoping to go see our personal trainer Friday. Maybe. Two steps forward...one step back, but I'll get there.
Today's DDD's b'day. Tomorrow is Ronan's 3rd b'day. We'll take popsicles over this evening to celebrate DDD's b'day. She said "NO!" to cake and ice cream.
Well, 140.0 this morning at 5:30...but who really knows.
Hope you all have a great Tuesday.
Chris1 -
Chris - you have been through a lot girlfriend! Wishes for a good recovery . Slow & Steady wins the race!
Karen1 -
Kathy I hope you had a great time. I tried to write more last night but my Kindle kept turning off and I would lose everything!
It was a real pain! I love the oldies!
Chris money is everything. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Because without it we can't have anything. Like quality of life. Let it exchange hands if there is a chance of it making your life better.
146.8 this morning. Barney will be seeing a personal trainer soon. It also is expensive. Hope it works or I will have to put him down. he is so great with us. Working late tonight.

142.0 this morning. So the 140.0 yesterday was just flat out silly!!! We did walk this morning then picked up Big Kid Ronan who turned 3 today! We're going over there tonight to deliver another bunch of presents.
A friend told me her SIL had the same condition I had and his doctor said it was the pain meds he was taking for his recent foot surgery. That the pain meds slowed down everything. That could have contributed to both my episodes...I was on the heavy duty opioids before both of them. Done with the meds now...but it's something to talk to the docs about.
Anyway, today has been a good day. I love you guys. Thanks for listening.
Chris0 -
I know they cause constipation! Might be into something. Wow Ronan is 3 already!
Happy Birthday Ronan,
Chris I think my scale was silly yesterday also. Today it said 147.8. That is more online with my losses.
Shelley0 -
138.0 this morning at 6:00. Sleepin' in helps.
Going for a walk in a bit. Big Kid Ronan will be dropped off after his dentist visit this morning.
Gotta go.
Chris1 -
137.2 this morning at 5:30. Day off walking. Getting the boys in a bit. Going to see our trainer later today.
Chris1 -
136.8 at 5:00 this morning. Going for a walk. DH will only let me walk for 30 mins. Maybe tomorrow we will walk 45 mins.
Chris0 -
30 minutes is a lot Chris. Just take it easy! 😴 so glad you are back with us.
So put in an offer on 2.34 acres of treed mountain property for camping yesterday. They accepted our bid. The owners live in Texas and have not been here in 12 years. There is a car, old trailer, large run down shed and garbage. All needs to be hauled off. There is electrical on the edge of the property. And a well we can use 5 minutes away. Looking at plans for a small cabin. I like the 600 - 800 square foot two story ones. One bedroom and bath up and an open floor plan down. One bath and bedroom below also. Smaller footprint that way. And a small balcony. Must look for bears before going outside. 😱
Weight is slowly coming off.
