    Weigh in day Friday
    previous weight: 207.2
    current weight: 211.2 (not a typo)

    Friday weigh-in
    Food: has not been good - cals have crept up and it followed sodium creep (leap) and that's a trend

    remember the good, be the good and encourage others on their journey

    Goals or Improvements for tomorrow: everything - is that a goal?

    I hate - HATE - ending August on a note of crazy gain perspective. I'm not near a scale so this is the last time I weighed, yesterday morning. I can already tell it has come at least closer to expected but - not near a scale to confirm so the number is what the number is. I'll be home to weigh on Tuesday and can report on Friday but, alas, August is in the books. At the coast with family for the US Labor Day holiday weekend - will get some good movement and will be working toward not being all foodie and mindless in the midst. Send mojo, friends.

    @raleighgirl09, I know that it is super frustrating to end the month where you don't want to be. I ended the month with a super tiny loss so basically the month was a loss. But that is OK!! We both had stuff going on this month and sometimes life really does get in the way of our weight loss goals. So we just have to strive for a better September. We got this!! :)

    @TeresaW1020 thanks so much - perspective is everything! => I'm reminding myself that if I can't deal with the numbers running all around, from time to time, I'm not going to be successful in maintenance. I need to be able to absorb the mentalness of a swing up and be mindful to work the swing down - when it's 4 pounds, not wait until it's 40 pounds. I also know that the eating, while up a few of the days in the last week, does not support an actual 4 pound gain so this is a life/water/stop eating so much sodium kinda thing.

    This is a lot of thought and mental hamster-wheelin' for a gain - but this is where I am now, I'm trying to understand what I'm doing and why and what do I need to change to be where I want to be?

    Greetings Mission Slimpossibles!

    I'm Liselyn, one of the moderators, and I am helping out with the spreadsheets and weigh-ins this week, getting ready for tomorrow morning's tallies. I think the end of August has taken its toll on some of our team captains, so I'm just wading in and nagging people wherever I can :p There are a few weigh-ins that are due, and hopefully I have not just missed them as I whizzed back through the week's messages. Please send in your weigh ins before tomorrow morning (around 8 am Eastern time!) so that we can have the tallies for the week and all the month of August done. Thanks!!!

    Here are the weights that are missing, including a couple for today:
    @broncobuddee
    @davors19
    @Kres567
    @raleighgirl09
    @UTMom81
    @buniphuphu

    The good, the bad, the amazing, the sad - just post your lovely numbers and August will be DONE! Thanks!!!

    Week 4 - Aug 2019
    Sunday
    PW 162
    CW 162.7

    Remained the same but glad I haven't added weigh. Being eating well but still snacking.

    I am eating the same things for breakfast and lunch. Maybe that leads me snacking for a different taste. I find I enjoy crunching. So porridge is out. I heard corn flakes with yoghurt is a good idea. I try not to eat English muffins, bagels or tpast for breakfast as all high carb. Any quick but nutritious breakfast ideas especially ones that can be heated or microwaved since its getting colder in the mornings?

    Thursday Check-in
    Calories: under
    Water: over
    Exericse: nothing

    I was planning on getting on the treadmill today but ended up staying late at work and then not feeling like it once I got home. I have got to get back to my workouts!!

    What do we think about having a step challenge next month for our group? Those always helped me when we did them. I can't take on keeping track since I'm moving but I sure can help by being a cheerleading motivator! B):)

    I love the idea of a step challenge!

    Hey team!

    I was hoping I would have been able to post something before the moderators but I’m away for the weekend and wasn’t sure how the communication would work.

    I’ve been one of the team captains for years now and I just thought it was time to get a fresh face in the role with new ideas and new ways to motivate people. I still want to be part of the team if that’s okay just in a different capacity.

    Let me know any questions or concerns you might have about the role.

    Jen.
