I hit all my goals yesterday, including an hour long walk with my kidney recipient. I'm in his city for a few days for my post kidney transplant check up so there are challenges being away from home but it's so good to catch up with him.
Hoping to get clearance to start rehab leading to return to full training in Jiu Jitsu. I've been out for over 6 months with a broken arm and then surgery so I'm more than ready to get back.
@Dory_42 As a kidney transplant recipient, I just have to say again. You are an angel 😇 on Earth 🌎. Since you are spending time with the recipient, I’m sure you can see the difference that your selfless gift made.

Yes, I actually saw the difference before the actual transplant although the physical side was only clear after. Before he had so much more hope and his attitude changed dramatically. I do love to tease him about getting Moonface from his cortisone but it's actually only a little puffy and he is dropping the dose every week so it will improve soon. He was actually a friend of a friend when I volunteered to get tested but he was at my side the entire way through the testing and is now closer than my brother. I can't wait to see the adventures he takes Merlin the kidney on once his isolation period is over.3 -
