    I think I need new batteries for my scale. It showed a 6.2lb loss. I know that's not right. I will report in later this week.

    I think I may have forgotten to weigh in this week sorry. Can I do Thursday as weigh in day next week (I am not working that day). Overall my eating has been better this week, except for just one day. Ive varied the food I am eating and this has helped me to get more excited about dieting again. With two toddlers I havent really found time to excersize, but I am constantly cleaning up the house.

    Good morning!

    @12Sarah2015, sure, that's fine. Try not to think of yourself as on a diet. That can give your mind a sense of deprivation. And if you have toddlers, you're exercising, for sure!! :smile: Next Thursday is fine for a weigh-in. Let us know if you want to change your weigh-in day permanently.

    Today we’re looking for weigh-ins from:

    @inshapeCK
    @pamela117e - are you still with us? <3

    I walked 2.38 miles in 49 mins versus my 2.12 miles in 50 yesterday. Shaved some time off my pace lol. It's not much but I'll take it. Working my way up to jogging again. It's been a good little break so was leery of just jumping right in and possibly injuring myself. Need some weight off these knees first.

    I'm sorry that I didn't post these yesterday but the answer to all three would have been Yes.

    After my Toddler Meltdown on Monday, I decided to take Tuesday as Mental Health Day. I took the day off from work, went for a nice run, got a pedicure, read a book and said "No." whenever asked to do something for them. Frankly, a grown man and 12 year old boy can fend for themselves for one day.

    @Keepingtrack1234 Thank you for that reminder. Perfection shouldn't be the goal - it can never be achieved but ultimately, success is achievable. I allowed myself to be knocked off the rails but I am back on track.

    Im so so sorry this is late!! I'm kind of in the middle of a bit of a health scare and this totally slipped my mind. I've been working on keeping my water and veggies up and avoiding binge eating during tbe stressful waiting period.

    I feel good that I did exercise but I am still not consistent with tracking…. I still feel positive even though my weight loss does not reflect my effort. My scale hates me! I am going to do more exercising starting today.

    I am looking for some motivation, from within myself. I don't know if it is because I am just feeling a bit tired and down, not enough sleep, too much time working, not enough time just to get out to enjoy the beautiful weather we have been having... probably a combination.

    I just keep going into f-it mode, and eat / drink whatever. Granted, I haven't gone off the rails too far, but enough that the scale is moving in the wrong direction.

    I got my behind out the door early this morning to enjoy the cool morning, had a nice 30 minute walk... thought about how to get my "groove" back. Reminded myself of a saying, "just fake it, until you make it". I think this is what I need to do for the time being, and not give myself the option of "going off the rails". I know that I will feel better, and maybe the motivation will come back to me after seeing the results on the scale... Sorry for the long post, I just needed to write this down, helps me to keep moving!

    What do you all do to self motivate when the motivation is drifting away?
  • @looneycatblue - so sorry for you. however, i do understand! personally, to self motivate when the motivation is drifting away, i typically watch youtube weight loss journey videos OR weight loss motivation stories OR something of that nature. it works for me every single time. hopefully you find balance soon *hugs*

    @looneycatblue If I'm not in the mood to exercise or don't feel like watching what I eat, I do a few things: I look at my "before" pictures so I visualize what my habits are doing to my body. The other thing I do is play a workout video even if I don't want to do it. I literally sit on the couch....but eventually I do get up and do a few minutes of the video. Other thing is to say okay I can eat whatever snack I want but first I have to drink 16 oz of water - that usually satisfies my craving. Hope that helps!
