No walking this morning. We went to the Scottish Games yesterday. Way too much for me. Didn't stay but a couple of hours, maybe. Watched SIL play rugby...ugh...awful game. Next year will be better.

We did 3.02 miles in 1 hour this morning! I wasn't going to let Pat talk me into less than that. Unless I'm out of energy from a jello diet, we should be walking tomorrow, too. So far, I have 8,731 steps.

Tennis coaching drills - 90 minutes. Looking forward to the new season.

The fall season starts Sunday. It was great to be back on the courts. Also, I received my bag tags for my team winning the division and then the city finals. So proud of my team! I’ll have to take a picture of everything and post it.

Way to improve Chris. I had to get on the treadmill to work off half an Apple fritter I had today. Still doing good though. Lifted some weights. Did the first challenge Chris. Lost my balance doing the step how and about tell on my butt! 🙀

Rest Day for us. Did workout w/our trainer's sister. She is also a trainer. Our trainer is in the mountains with her dad and BIL.

Shelley you must have been doing some powerful step-ups! Glad you caught yourself! Butt-plants aren't fun...I've done one or two. I so want to get back to weights. I see my PT on Tuesday. We'll see what she says. Hoping our trainer can make the appointment, too.

Thanks, Shelley. Need all the luck with that PT that I can get. EGADS!!!!

Walked this morning...3.01 miles in 1 hour 15 mins. We walked what we call the 'rocky road' where there is a ridge made of sand that we walked up and across. It did slow us down some, but it was a good walk! That's all that is on the calendar...going to read the rest of the day!

Chris that was awesome going. Great job. :)

Took the kids to Dillons park. Fenced in dog park where even Barney can run and play. He had his first private lesson with a trainer. Doing better! Very happy. Got in almost 11000 steps today. And I did a lot of reading also Chris. A great day. c2a6prht7xkm.jpg

Swim lesson on Monday - 60 minutes

We worked on my improving my strokes and breathing techniques. I have an hour lesson every Monday this month except on the 23rd as I will be out of town. Finally going on my birthday trip to a Puerto Vallarta. Ron is very excited. He says we’re going to snorkel. We will see if I’m comfortable. My swim instructor told me to bring my gear and she will give me some tips as part of my lesson next Monday.

My bff and I leave for Memphis tomorrow. We’re going to see Gladys Knight and Jeffrey Osborne then tour the city for a couple of days. Back on Sunday. I’ve also packed workout clothes. We’re going to do the Big River Crossing. The largest public pedestrian/bike bridge across the Mississippi. No relief from the heat yet in Atlanta we’re still in the 90s and it feels like 100. The norm for September is low 80s. And Memphis is the same.

    Excited!

Chris now that I can post some pictures I might bore you all with them! Will have to add my new fish later.

Kathy I have heard that it is easy to snorkel. I am so envious. Think of all the little fish I could see. o:) So you are going to walk that bridge? Sounds like fun. Photos please.

Getting in lots of steps everyone. Going right now to walk the halls of the justice bldg.

We walked 4.4 miles today in downtown Memphis and on Beale Street. Maybe that burnt off some of that lunch at BB Kings.

Nice walk, Kathy! Good luck w/the snorkeling. Have fun!

We did 3.0 miles this morning in an hour...in the dark. 10,390 steps so far today. Hope to get farther than 3.0 miles this weekend when it's light outside...well, if it isn't over 100 degrees at 7:00 a.m. that is. We'll see.

I love all the walking you are doing ladies! This has been a very wonky week for me. The trip to Canada and my sore back did not help. I did get to the gym yesterday which was good.

Plan on going in a couple of minutes here. Also taking my sneakers with me down to an overnight at a friend's house at the beach. Perfect scenery for walking! Hoping to get some good steps in :-)

Chris I did the workout you so kindly provided last night. Worked through them both twice. Now I am looking into one of those Goji Play for my treadmill. I do get so bored on it.

Shelley, I hope your hubby is feeling better.

Worked w/our trainer yesterday. No walking, tho...we had the boys on Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., then again at 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. We could not get out of bed Wednesday morning at 4:00 a.m. to walk...just couldn't...my brain and body said "NOOOO!" really, really loud. DH reset the alarm.

We did walked at 5:00 this morning...in the dark... 3.13 miles in 59 mins. 8,388 steps so far.

Chris thankfully he is. o:) I hate 0400 hour same ups. And unless I am going somewhere fun I will not be doing it. Nope nope nope. Nice steps!

Went to breakfast with DH 's friend. He was unhappy about having left his favorite Halton on a hat while in Las Vegas. We contacted the casino and were able to hunt it down. They sent it to us and we have it to him at breakfast. I thought he was going to cry. Great morning. Then we took the boys to two parks. They loved it.

    I'm glad, Shelley.

No walking today. Rest Day. Saturday I was sick so we didn't walk. DH didn't want to make up for it by walking today. Messed with his brain, I think...bwahaha...no further comments necessary...

Walked 3.05 miles in 60 mins this morning at 5:00 then 60 mins w/our trainer. 9,768 steps so far...10,000 right around the corner.

Turns out that what I had on Saturday morning then again on Tuesday morning was too much blood pressure medicine. I've been taking the same amount since DDD was born but suddenly it seems too much. Doc reduced it by half. We'll see what happens. It wasn't fun.

Chris that would be great. I have heard of that. This month I did not lift as much as I should have. Going to do more Les Mills in October. Must be ready in the spring to clean out new property. Hopefully have a cabin chose also.

Got in just over 11,000 steps today.I

Wait for it...I had 15,444 steps yesterday! Walked w/DH in the morning for 3.05 miles in 58 mins then w/DDD for 1.69 miles in about 30-35 mins. in the evening. We had Ronan with us and took him to the park for 10 or 15 mins., so I'm not sure of our actual walking time. Runkeeper had me at 46 mins for our walk, so I'm guessing. It was great to walk and talk w/her...and Ronan!

Rest Day from walking today. Met w/our trainer for 60 mins this afternoon. It was a good workout.
