Good morning all!
Don't look now, but it's October!! How the heck did that happen!?
@orlcam hope your fast yesterday went well and you are feeling better. We haven't indulged yet on carbs, but we hear that you can feel a little under the weather for a bit.
Drink some water sprinkled with Himalayan Salt (if you have) and take some potassium and magnesium. Hugs!
Hi @mamainthekitchen and @KateNkognito
Things are rolling along here. Started Keto on August 5 so just shy of the two month mark on the calendar and feeling good. We measured again and we are both down more inches which is nice!
Hope everybody who is fasting is doing well. Any lurkers out there, give a shout.
See you soon!

I REGRET NOTHING!!!! Not the Chinese food, or the ice cream, or the fajitas, or the chocolate (and more chocolate)... Let's just say it has been a rough couple of days and kick some sand over that and move on.
Happy October!! I love fall! I need to get my decorations up. Hoping the weather cools off sometime soon. I am afraid we will go from hot to cold and skip the middle temperatures.
I hope everyone is having a great week! I echo what Meghan said, Lurkers, we would love to hear from you!
Happy fasting!!1 -
Congrats again Meghan and thanks for the well wishes. The carbs did a little number on the stomach, but, ahem, that passed.
Still fasting...going to try and make it till tomorrow lunch-ish; 2 pm will be 60 hours on a little over 700 calories.
Here in New Orleans we beat the all time high temp for all Octobers, this on the 1st day of October...we hit 95. If this is the new norm, I fear the changes that are coming. I used to think my parents worried too much; so I wonder, am I them now or is there really some heavy stuff happening that's about to put the hurt on the planet and humankind? I think I need a new hobby.
Have a good week1 -
Hi guys!
Hope you are having a good Wednesday!
LOL @KateNkognito! Hope the next few days are better!
@orlcam glad to hear you are feeling a little better! Yep I know what you mean about changes. Crazy to think about, right?
Yes, speaking of weather for us - we are in the 80's F today! For early October that is super warm! After today then it will drop down to the 60's for a bit. Glad I changed my closet over from warm weather to cool weather clothes. Pretty soon we are going to need a jacket. UGH. Nooooo...
Had a good day yesterday and got to the gym after work. Same thing planned for today. Had my salad for lunch and it was yummy. Dinner is a casserole with chicken, broccoli, and cheese. Liking my Keto WOE.
Have a good one and I will see you guys soon!1 -
LOL Kate!!!!! Omg hahaha
Hello people!
Gardening and more gardening here!!! Have my folks place to do too... I want them to stay in their house for as long as possible! My nails however are at a pretty sad state! Drinking extra almond milk and massaging with coconut oil to combat the harsh treatment they’ve been given lately! They may survive!
Celebrating my bday on sat! 60! Yikes!! I’m looking a little haggered today.... you can tell you’re over 55 when the crease from the pillow case stays in your cheek until noon!!! #plan outings accordingly!
Orlcam I must ask... why so many long hours fasting? That would send me straight into binge mode if I ever did that... a single 20 hour fast once a week is enough but the 5:2 is perfect (if I actually succeed that is) just wondering is all. Do you feel better? And how do you cope following the end?
80degrees?? Holy! That is summer temps! We sit at about 57 degrees for a high today (14C). We’ve had sunny skys and the fall decorations are everywhere!! I love fall too! Speaking of that... thanks for autumn banner Orlcam! Lovely!!
Making some cheesy cream of cauliflower soup later today... perfect for your keto meals Meg! The head of cauliflower I asked the hubs to pick up from the store was about 4 times the size I expected to see!! Burst into laughter when he came home!
Got a date with my vacuum today.... ughh! It’s new so I almost don’t mind!
Have a great day peeps and happy fasting! I am trying today so far so good.. then my soup for dinner with possible almond flour buns (I’m obsessed with perfecting these!! Thanks for your tips Orlcam... have looked at your links, had no idea what inulin is!)
Kick up that sand Kate!!! Lol

I had leftovers today... and I still don't regret it.
@orlcam This too shall pass. LOL I hope you made it to the end of your fast! I sometimes think about all the things that seem bad, but then I realize that I am not in charge. There is nothing I can do but pray and influence those that are immediately around me. Makes me worry less. For a new hobby, have you considered knitting? Personally, I crochet and quilt.
@Meghan509 It is FINALLY cooler here, after it was 80's yesterday. I haven't pulled out my cooler weather clothes, but I have some light layers that I can use. Honestly, the hotflashes keep me pretty warm. (sorry TMI, gents)
@mamainthekitchen At least you are getting fresh air! Happy early birthday! I have a pillow crease until noon some days, but that is usually because I am still in bed! LOL If you want to get some extra work in with that vacuum, you are welcome to come to my house. I honestly don't know when the last time I ran mine was.
Need to get a bit of work done, then I think I will go to bed early. Have a great rest of the week!1 -
@Meghan509 Thank you. You are really doing great...exercise, keto, and fasting...oh my.
@KateNkognito hehe, leftovers. My faux pas was hibachi...I stayed away from the rice but had noodles plus some tempura chicken and veggies. Knitting ... a few people in our extended family knit, not really my thing...I was thinking along the lines of woodworking and 3d printing. Things that cost a lot of money and annoy my wife.
@mamainthekitchen wrinkly face...bahaha...funny. Happy birthday! Let me know if you want that recipe. I still haven't perfected it either...I think I'm going to try sour cream vs heavy cream, reduce the psyllium husk and add some more yeast and lupin flour.
On the long fasts...please excuse me if any of you have heard this before...I don't know if you remember the initial Mosley documentary, but he tried a number of fasts before he settled on 5:2 (mainly because he figured it was the one he could accomplish with some regularity.) Each of the fasts gave similar benefits. He tried a miso soup fast for 4 days (you'd have to do this each month) and quickly realized it wasn't for him. One of the main reasons for fasting was to lower IGF-1 levels (reduce cancer risks.) Anyway, when I first started a few years back, after I was fasting regularly, I tried a number of things to see how my body would react and if I could actually accomplish them. I did a 74-ish hour fast on almost nothing and also did four 36 hour fasts back to back with a 2-3k calorie meal between each one (eaten within 1 hour.) Both were ok, but the longer fasts actually generated more benefits for me (in my opinion). Weight loss increases (I'll tell you why I think this is in a minute), I actually eat less coming out of the fast, and my body goes through a cleanse. I can only guess that my IGF-1s are decreasing, but I've never done any blood work to confirm this. Why the increased weight loss? I think it is because of the cleanse, and the longer the fast the deeper the cleanse. I don't drink or eat anything special. I sometimes will eat a handful of pork rinds or almonds (those are normal) or I'll just eat what may be cooked already in the fridge, but I do drink lots of water...and I do this every time I'm getting hunger pangs. Now keep in mind that I have a lot of weight to lose. In order to get to where (I think) I'll start feeling normal I would have to lose roughly half my body weight (from my max, not my current.) If I wouldn't have taken breaks from 5:2 (and keto) I would be a lot closer to that goal; over that time period I've lost roughly (combined) 200 lbs. Those 2 WOE work and together they supercharge my weight loss...last year from mid January to July (when my wife/son came home) I lost over 100 pounds. I see the biggest weekly losses when I put in a long fast. I usually shoot for 36 (Moseley's standard) and ask myself how I feel as I go...can I do another 12? I think if you can do ~50 hours on 6-800 cals this (again in my case) is equivalent to achieving two 36 hour fasts a week. When I do my fasting I am trying to get to the cleanse...I wait for my body to start the process. Sometimes it's around 30 hours, but it's also taken as long as 40. I also notice that my body temp jumps a degree or 2 (along with increased brain activity...crazy dreams) at some point past 30 hours and it usually means a cleanse is coming too. In some ways, I feel, I am forcing a woosh...I just keep going till I get it. The temp increase and brain activity is also, probably, due to the body's response to not getting food. There have been studies done on this; where metabolism/energy release is boosted after a certain time without food, because over the millennia humans had to keep going to find sustenance or die trying. If they didn't get fed one day, the body would release more energy (burn calories at a higher rate) to help them get it the next. In modern society (not everywhere unfortunately) food is abundant...I expect that if we continue to live this way for tens of thousands of years, our bodies will change. I could keep going (again), but that's the gist of it. Also, some people believe the body locks down on extended fasts so you actually burn less calories...again, that's not true (from what I've read and experienced); studies have been done that show the body doesn't start reducing metabolism until around day 9. This sorta makes sense considering that the human body can go roughly 20 days without food; the body sees after 9 days that things aren't looking good, so it changes course and goes into survival mode.
I didn't make it to the 60 hour mark, but I got to ~56 (9:30 am). I then ate a very low carb/high fat meal (ground meat, rotel, sour cream, cheese) and was full on about 1/2 lb. My body kept cleansing throughout the day and I actually weigh less right now than I did when I completed the fast. I use the scale differently than most people...I weigh multiple times throughout the fast because I'm interested in what's happening when. I still feel full and may try to do another fast (back to back)...right now I feel like I can make it till tomorrow night. We shall see.
...and my family is evil y'all, there are remnants of a cookie cake that have been sitting on my counter since Sunday night...I'm throwing it away tomorrow!2 -
Well, that didn't last, lol...just had a big breakfast.1
-
Good morning gang!
Happy Thursday!
Really interesting post, @Orlcam! I read through but will reread since there is a lot of good info here.
I have done some Intermittent Fasting (or my version of, since I drink coffee in the AM with half & half and Monk Fruit Sweetener) but otherwise I don't have any food until lunch time. I aim to eat lunch time through dinner time, which for me is 12:30pm to 8:30pm give or take. On the weekends I do eat breakfast since it is just better for our schedule of stuff to do, errands, etc. We will do a later breakfast, then skip lunch and have a decent dinner in most cases.
@KateNkognito hope the next few days are better. I like how you are just moving on!
So yeah, 80 degrees F yesterday and now in the 60's F today and next few days. Crazy how the weather is this time of year!
My Mom is a knitter. Since I am crafty I tried to pick it up, but it just wasn't my thing. In the past I have done scrap booking (which I love) and I do enjoy an adult coloring book once in a while. I have some nice markers and colored pencils. I find that relaxing. Cooking is a hobby too but my first love is reading.
@mamainthekitchen Happy Birthday (early) to you!! You are the day before my Dad's birthday. Hope you have some fun stuff planned! You deserve it!
Wasn't able to make it to the gym last night. Got stuck a little late at the office and BF's hip was feeling a little "meh". Tonight I have what will probably be my last Physical Therapy appointment, for now. I am feeling better aside from the flare ups that happen now and then in my right hip / buttocks area and the bulging disc issue I have in my lower back. I will say that eating the Keto way has really helped my inflammation.
Tomorrow is Friday and the day I hope on the scale woo hoo. Hope to have good news to report back.
See you soon! Have a great day, especially our fasters!0 -
@Meghan509 My daughter likes the coloring books. Good luck on the scale tomorrow. I read about what you've done lately and forgot that you were dealing with hip/back issues...which makes what you've done even more amazing. WTG
Hey, I saw the option to edit the group title the other day when I changed the banner...so I was wondering, since there are just a few of us, maybe we could change the name of the group?
It sort of makes sense because a number of us came to this group because we were doing some form of intermittent fasting and not necessarily 5:2. Now, the majority (if not all) of us are doing or have done some form of low carb. I'm open to ideas. I have one, but it's not edgy or market savvy...it's just cute and silly.
We can come up with a new description, a logo, theme, banners, etc. We can take it as far as we want. Anyway, I'd be interested in what everyone thinks.1 -
Good morning gang!
I am happy to report that I lost 2.2 pounds this week! Bringing me to just shy of 18 lbs lost since starting the Keto WOE back on August 5. I am hoping to be able to wear my size 12 work pants very soon
Thanks @orlcam! I can definitely say that eating the Keto way has lowered my inflammation significantly. Sure, I have my days where my back/hip bothers me more but I will say less since starting. I have a follow up with my Rheumatologist on Monday (finally) to figure out next steps. My PT Doctor said to make sure I tell her about Keto and how it is helping my inflammation! I did make another physical therapy appt. for two weeks away. Hopefully the insurance approves. We shall see. It does make me feel better.
Yes, I think a name change would be good! I want to hear your cute and silly suggestion. Mine would be something fasting related since that's what most of us are doing and even though I am not doing 5:2, I still appreciate Dr. Mosley and his Fast Diet.
Things are good here. Happy with my loss and feeling very content with what I am eating and how I am feeling.
Been multi tasking. So need to get back to a PowerPoint project I am working on! Speak to you all soon! Planning to check in over the weekend, but in case I don't I will see you Monday!1 -
Good morning!
Congratulations Meghan!! You’ve done amazing sticking to this keto plan.... which is awesome for weight loss but also a real solid gage for your arthritis!! Geez excited for your appoint mon!
I’ve now lost a total of 10lbs since May which is shocking because I haven’t really been strict. Just low carb and mostly 16:8 window which I like eating!
Over that last two years that 5:2 hasn’t been my focus, I’ve done mostly 16:8 and 18:6 plus some 20:4 thrown in... but I’ve looked around other forums reading their stories but I always come back here! I must admit I’m really liking our little group.... no matter what the name And I definitely support silly!
Thanks Orlcam for your informative and interesting post regarding your fasting!! I applaud your efforts and dedication to health... also you’ve lost quite a significant amount of lbs so far! WTG!!! one day I’ll try a 24 hr fast and see how it goes! Maybe January! Maybe we can all do one in January together? Bahaha (evil laugh)
Hi to Kate! Bet you’re glad it’s Friday!! And thank you for birthday wishes!!! But no, no fun here.... it’s just too darn hard to pick a restaurant that my two kids can eat at. (Daughter is off all gluten and dairy) and well you guys know my son is diabetic not taking any drugs, sooooo guess who is making dinner!! Yup! ME! I’m going to make a chicken stir fry with gluten free seasoning/sauces with regular rice for my dad, different rice the daughters tummy can tolerate, rice noodles for the hubs and cauliflower rice for the son/mom & me! What a lot of dishes to clean up afterwards!!! I’ve been scouring the internet for gluten free/dairy free bday cake!! Ohhh yum! I don’t even really like cake! But I have made a yummy lemon loaf once or there is a vanilla almond flower cake I could split and add sugar free raspberry jam in the middle and just use coconut cream to top... ? Well I’ll have to come up with something!!
Off to buy all the veggies etc!
Have a great weekend everyone!! I’ll be busy turning 60!!!!!!!!!!! Omg!!!
And yes Orlcam.. I’d love that recipe! I’m gonna add you, were over due
1 -
Mama...I'm going to try that recipe w/some changes again this weekend. I'll try to take some pics too. Also, I had lost about 104 last year, but gained about 80 back since my wife's been home...yep, I know, tsk. I wish I could bottle how I feel when I start out and take a shot of that every time I think about deviating.
Wow Meghan...congratulations once again.
OK...here comes silly...it may not attract serious people... "Fast Friends"
Now that it's in print...I dunno. Fasting for Life...Fasting with a Twist...The Fast Way...Friends of Fasting...The Fast Track...Fast Hacks
Let's hear some others...hit me.1 -
Wow! I don't peek in for a couple of days and I miss all the fun! LOL
I swear, September was the fastest month and October has been the longest!!
@orlcam I agree with everything you said about fasting. There is so much science behind it, I can't believe more people don't do it.Knitting ... a few people in our extended family knit, not really my thing...I was thinking along the lines of woodworking and 3d printing. Things that cost a lot of money and annoy my wife.
When I am on my fasting game, I lose at least a pound a week. I tend to do 36-ish hours with two days between. Occasionally, I will skip breakfast the second morning and go until lunch. I think it is more of a mindset thing for me. I can say, "Today is a fast, but I will have it tomorrow."
I like your suggestions! I like The Fast Way. How about Life in the Fast Lane (surely make you lose some weight). I feel old for suggesting that.
@Meghan509 Congratulations on the loss!! Glad that the keto is helping you with your joint pain. One of the things that drew me to fasting was I had noticed when I fasted for other reasons, I would feel better the next day.
@mamainthekitchen If you have to do all the cooking on your birthday, they should do the dishes!! And you are *not* old. You are spicy- you are well seasoned!
Off to rest a little and then a whirlwind weekend planned. It mostly involves homework and laundry, but we also have a little fall festival in our town and then the library is having wine and coloring again on Sunday. Have a great weekend!2 -
How was the birthday celebration, @mamainthekitchen ?
I got on the scale for the reckoning after this week of crazy eating, and it was not as bad as I was expecting! Only a half pound gain! If I get in three fasts this week, I should make my goal! Have a GREAT day, y'all!1 -
Woohoo! What a day, thanks Kate... all in all everything turned out pretty good.... certainly low calorie! And I fasted all day until 4:30 when I was poured a glass of wine!! Wine on a very empty tummy! But stir fry was a great choice and my gluten free dairy free sugar free cake with vegan icing was, well, interesting... I did add a layer of raspberry sugar free jam to the center with some the icing, as well as fresh raspberries... that made all the difference because if you’ve ever had almond flour cake you’ll know fresh berries of any kind are a great addition!
So today, just a cesear salad & rib eye on the bbq.... taking it easy! Tomorrow I’m starting back with my weight workouts!!
Hope everyone has had a great weekend!!1 -
Good afternoon all!
Looks like I just missed the cut off for morning! LOL Busy at work so a quick post for now.
Love these names @orlcam! If I had to vote I would say: Friends of Fasting. Honestly any are cool with me.
Thought of you yesterday, when we had some andouille chicken sausage for dinner. We bought it at Trader Joe's and I made it with some grilled green peppers. Yum!
@KateNkognito Yes, I agree with you about fasting! Definitely does make you feel better. A half a pound gain is nothing! Moving on, like you say. LOL Hope this week is better!
Happy birthday @mamainthekitchen! Glad your day turned out well. Almond cake sounds fabulous!
Weekend went well. Had some BBQ ribs and smoked chicken wings for dinner out, on Saturday night and it was yummy. We like to get out for dinner once a week if we can. Mix things up and enjoy other types of foods. We also managed to pass on the alcohol and drank club sodas with dinner.
Had my follow up today with the Rheumatologist. She reviewed the pelvic MRI I had in July and confirmed that it does not show any swelling. She did say that my blood work from May showed elevated inflammation markers. I told her I am feeling better, aside from a little annoyance here and there with the hip and the bulging disc in my lower back. Told her I started keto and she was cool with it. Told her I plan to keep doing what I am doing: following my anti-inflammation WOE, exercising a little, and just trying to lose weight and stay healthy. I see her again in six months. She said if I have an NEW issues that persist to give her a call. Fine by me. Going to keep seeing the physical therapist for now or until the insurance says no. She definitely helps me feel better and I like the exercises she recommends.
Planning to stick to my Keto WOE and hit the gym a few times this week. Have a good one and I will see you soon!
Almost time for lunch here. Woo hoo! Have a great day!3 -
@mamainthekitchen I am glad your birthday was a good one!
@Meghan509 That sounds like great news! I hope the insurance keeps paying for the PT!
I had a good fast day today. I am just rolling along. I hope everyone has a great day!2 -
Thanks you guys for the birthday wishes!! Really appreciate you all in my internet life!!
Meghan if I could click inspiring, insightful, like & hug I would.... I like how inspiring you are through your physical challenges and keep motoring on.... every week you have a plan!!! so I gave you the ‘hug’ !! Keep on it girl!!
Way to go on your fast day Kate!! Do you do hour fasts? I’m going to get back into tracking mine. I like a 17 or 18 hr fast every day!! I haven’t tracked anything for a while. Time to dust off that Zero app I have on my phone! I still laugh at your library and the wine & colouring night!!! I could just do that at home!!!! Bahaha
Orlcam I’m kinda liking Fast Friends.... ? But I’m open!!!!!! Hope you’re having a good start to the week!2 -
Oooo how ‘bout Friendly Fasts...?
Oh goodnight!!!1 -
Good morning all!
I just got a call from the Physical Therapist and she said the insurance denied me anymore visits under my current diagnosis. She did offer a reduced rate if I wanted to continue on my own without insurance, which I really appreciated but I said let me cancel the upcoming appointment for now and ride it out. If I feel crappy again down the road I can always give them a call. She said even after a month of hanging tight, the insurance will probably pick it up again if I needed it. Good to know! Time for me to focus on doing the exercises she gave me and aiming for getting a few workouts a week at the gym walking and keeping my blood flowing and joints loose.
Thanks for the kind words. Feeling good and rolling along.
Have a great day guys. See you soon!2 -
Hey all!
What's shaking!?
Not too much happening here. Feeling good today. Wearing a women's (US) size 12 pair of work pants. A few months ago, this wouldn't have been possible. Slowing trying to get back to where I was. Day by day, meal by meal. Patience.
Had a good workout at the gym last night, even though the WiFi stinks lately and it keeps cutting off my ability to watch Netflix. Sigh... Might have to relocate to a different set of treadmills where the WiFi signal is stronger.
Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. See you soon!2 -
Hi! Quick check in! Meghan you totally need a new treadmill!!! Omg.... haha, now I’m wondering what you’re watching on Netflix! Our Canadian Netflix does NOT have all the same shoes as US unfortunately!
Today I’m really motivated. I had a real food 800 fast/light day yesterday and forgot to log my workout! But I didn’t eat anything after dinner (woohoo ya me) and waited until noon here to have first meal which was oatmeal, chia seeds, hemp seeds a few flax seeds cooked in micro with water then I added a coconut/almond cream (suppose to be for coffee) but drizzled bout 40mls on top and yum! I’m stuffed!! That will def hold me until dinner!!!
Happy Wednesday people.... I’m washing walls today.....ugghhh!
3 -
Hey, all! I had a crazy day! But I got home early and I am going to get a bunch of work done. Eating wise, I am having an ok day. My plan is to fast tomorrow and skip breakfast Fri. and Sat. and control the carbs. Hopefully, that will get me to my goal by Sun.
@Meghan509 No Netflix?! Definitely move! LOL
@mamainthekitchen Glad you are motivated! Keep going!!2 -
Hello...
Woohoo on the pants Meghan.
Nice fast Mamma.
Good luck on yours tomorrow Kate.
I wrapped up a 53 hour fast around 2 pm. Not sure I have another in me this week. Going to try a New York style pizza dough using vital wheat gluten tomorrow along w/some turtles (chocolate cream cheese frosting on almond flour shortbread sprinkled w/pecans.)
Ok...some of the names mentioned and others (just to make it more difficult):"Fast Lane" "Life in the Fast Lane" "Fast Foodies" "Friends of Fasting" "Fast Friends" "Friendly Fasts" "Fabulous Fasters" "The Good Fast" "Master Fasters" and a Pulp Fiction reference...just because; "Fast Force Five"
Another movie reference: "The Food Fast Way" ...for Danny McBride fans...but reaching...
A Seinfeld reference: "No Food for You!" ...sorry, had to...
One that was done before, but isn't taken on mfp: "Fast for Life"
hmm... "The Fast Life"?
I'm an Eagles fan...the Fast Lane or Life in the Fast Lane could be cool...some interesting logo opportunities.
Have a good one1 -
Awesome goals Kate! Good work!
Orlcam... 53hrs!!! Holy cow that’s amazing! Don’t know how you do that so long! I walk into my kitchen every hour on the hour it seems, what on earth would I do? I’d probably have more time on my hands to clean more walls!! Haha
Lol on all the choices of names you’ve got going on ... this is fun!
Fabulous Fast Friends bahaha0 -
Good morning all!
Rocking and rolling here. One more day and it is Friday!!! *screams*
Loving all these names! Whatever you guys decide is fine with me! I am liking Life in the Fast Lane!
Not much to add today LOL. Glad to see everybody is doing pretty well.
If today is your light day, I hope you rock it! I am sticking to my Keto WOE / 1200 calories. Tomorrow AM is weigh in. Hope to have good news for you all.
Have a great day! See you soon.0 -
Hi all!
Good morning and happy Friday!
Friday means weigh in day for me. I am down 1.8 lbs this week! Brings me to 18.6 lbs lost since starting Keto on August 5. Very pleased with my results.
Hope your week is going well. Any fun plans this weekend? We are meeting up with my cousin tomorrow. She is an up and coming author and she going to be signing books at a local book store near us. Very happy for her!
Not much else going on here. How's by you?
See you all soon! Have a great day.1 -
It is FRIDAY!!! I swear, this week has been twelve Mondays long! Almost done with my liscensure project! Would have finished it today, but two of my five students left early. How did my fast go? What fast?! Motivation is completely gone. I am tired and stressed and I can't even. Next week should be better.
Congratulations on the loss Meghan!! Sounds like you have a fun weekend in store.
Laundry and homework are calling my name. Wild times at my house!0 -
I’m stressed for you Kate! It’s count down time for you I guess, eh? (Yup Canadian right there!)
YOU got this!!!
I’ve been watching what I eat all week then last night I bought some peanut m&ms... had a weak moment!!!!! I bought a smaller amount (from bulk) than I used to for sure and I didn’t even eat the entire amount and today I woke up and weighed myself and I’m 3 lbs heavier!!!! What??? I’m chalking it up to the moons.... it’s a full moon tomorrow!!!! Ha! It can’t be the m&ms!! Hahah how sad!
Meghan way to go!! You’re doing so well and especially having your inflammation down and generally feeling better, but slipping into pant that fit and look good is always awesome!!
Orlcam hope you’re enjoying the weekend!
This weekend here (in Canada) is our Thanksgiving!! So Monday is a holiday and Sunday means I’m cooking a big turkey dinner for the fam! Yes, they were all over last week and I cooked cleaned & baked!! And yes! I’m doing that all again only bigger! Omg....
Happy Thanksgiving people!

Happy Thanksgiving, Mama!! It is my most favorite holiday! You get to count your blessings and there are mashed potatoes!! And the moon is definitely to blame!
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! I "forgot" to weigh myself this morning. Will probably just skip and wait until next weekend. Only two school days this week because of conferences, so I will have plenty of time to work on my project. But, the cat has to go to the vet, the dog has an appointment at the hair dresser, I have to go to my kids' conferences, and the house is not fit for humans and my parents are coming for a short visit. So, I am sure I will stay too busy to eat. Anyone want to come clean my house and go to the grocery store for me? LOL Have a great week! Happy Fasting!0
