Ready to say "no thank you" to treats and not use all my exercise calories up on over indulging. If anyone else is struggling right now, I feel your pain. Hang in there and we can do this.
Girrrrllll Me too..... OMG I was doing so good last night, then I saw the dang York peppermint patties, and the cherry filled kisses... BUT I did record every last one, so that in itself was a win for me right now... I meant to bring them to work with me this morning, but forgot them, so I am throwing them away when I get home...

Good morning Waistaways! Happy Friday. I think many of us are still being tempted by that holiday overabundance of yummy stuff. I left a lot of it at my daughter's house on New Year's Eve and sent a bunch home with my son. There are still a few stray things here. But, this cold has me less tempted, so there's the silver lining. LOL But good plan @Gidgitgoescrazy Throw that stuff away. We have today and tomorrow, then we are in a whole new "month" and a new opportunity to be on track. Scratch that! A new year is 365 (366 this year) chances to work your goals. Start today!
OK, STEPPERS......don't make me call you out by name. LOL Please get those steps in. Every step helps. Like Liselyn, those blank boxes on the spreadsheet make me sad. So let's fill them in, so we can say in January, "Look at how much we improved since December." Have a great day one and all. Make good choices and drink that water.

No change but the last few days have been good on calories and eating healthier foods. I’m hoping to lose every weigh in starting next week. I’m trying more protien, vegetables and drinking water like crazy!2 -

Happy New Year everyone and welcome to our new members!! My goal for this year is to reach my goal of 165 lbs. I lost 30lbs in 2019, 61.6 all together since I started losing weight at 236 lbs. It’s definitely been a journey of ups and downs!
Good luck this year everyone!! We can do this!!2 -
All the weights are up to date, and transferred to the January spreadsheet - we are getting there!
Yes, the treats have been bad. Ours are gone, and my husband has celiac disease, so there are no tempting gluten-containing foods here. But my son moved out in December and is still nearby enough to bring him things. The temptation to bake cookies for him (and of course, eating dough and trying a one. or two...) is strong. I RESIST! He lives near a fabulous bakery and can go spend his hard-earned cash there, or take my recipes and make his own, right? He's the one who needs to put on weight! Too much collateral damage to make him treats.
So, good job to all of you who are throwing out, giving away, or otherwise resisting those treats.
It is done. We are ALL going into the green numbers for January. We've got this!1 -

You can ask for it to be reinstated -- or just feel like you're starting completely new.1 -
UPDATE! F2F's own Habit Tracker
Everyone on any team is welcome to use our habit tracking spreadsheet. The tracking starts on Sunday, but please go in and set up your name and list of habits before then if you can. Here is how it works:- open https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hGjC7OQrH9Cb8U5gmkeax8VXYm2wsTiSYg43Dg0s_LE/edit?usp=sharing
- go to the bottom, and choose your team from the tabs
- put your MFP use name in the column on the left (highlight "name" and type in yours to replace it)
- add up to five habits you want to track daily
- check the box when you do it!
Any problems? Ask away!3 -

Still fighting this cold here.😷🤧 I think I’ve gone through a whole box of tissues today. No voice either. Good thing I only need fingers to cheer you on. 🙌
Thanks, Micki! Feel better soon. I’m happy that your germs can’t come through the keyboard! I’ll breathe in the wonderful refreshing air of Vermont on your behalf.

It has been a quiet but good Friday. I thought I'd have to go out, but ended up putting off errands to tomorrow when I have to go out anyhow. I did 30 minutes of Pilates with weights, then I got in a good snowshoeing outing, but had to come home pretty slowly - I think I underestimated the heaviness of the snow (it has warmed up to just over freezing) and I ate too little before going out. After an hour I got pretty tired and shaky feeling, so I just drifted home slowly. Luckily it was all downhill from the time I started feeling a bit feeble. A couple big glasses of water and an apple and all was right with the world again.
Otherwise, it has been super quiet - I had a good chat with my daughter about her upcoming challenging work week, and did some studying for an audition I have tomorrow. I'm actually trying out for a play - I have always performed music, and a lot of "instrumental theatre", but nothing involving actual words coming out of my mouth. But I figured 37 years of music history lectures that managed to keep most of the students awake would count for something! It should be fun even if I don't get a part.
So everyone keep well, get ready for the final tallies of December, and all geared up for the official start to F2F January! We might be five days later than the rest of the world, but we are about to get there!

Theater comes naturally - well, drama does anyway, eh? (Haha!) I hope you get a part. You’d be great!

This is my last week of Christmas break. I haven't been to work since December 12th due to having surgery the week before winter break. I'm trying to gear up for the weekly meal prep this weekend. My husband is a teacher so it's been pretty laid back for 3 weeks with everyone at home. Now I need to get in gear and get everyone's lunches prepped for the week 😬 The kids are pretty straight forward but the adults need something more delicious! I will have to think it over and get cooking tomorrow.
Anyone have a favorite lunch they like to pack?2 -
