HOW IT ALL WORKS:
Each week, every challenger weighs in, and the tallies are done to determine the team and individuals with the most weight lost. The best losers are announced with full fanfare every Sunday. The team competition is all in good spirits - may the most losing win!
If you need a week off, a break, a change of weigh-in day - just ask your Captain here on your team chat page.
In addition to weight loss, there are F2F Full Group CHALLENGES. We have 3 different kinds of challenges. NONE is mandatory. You can do all or none - it's up to you. Participating adds a lot to your success, though, so we hope to see you there often! Here they are:
Weekly Group Challenge - The six teams take turns to provide a Challenge for the entire group. These are posted Sundays in the Announcements area by the team assigned that particular week (see below). Everyone in the F2F Group as a whole is welcome to join in and get to know challengers from other teams. There is a new challenge every week, so you can try many new ideas.
F2F Moderators’ Challenge/Topic of the Week - The moderators also post a weekly challenge or topic in the announcements area. These can involve anything fitness, health, or nutrition - and they’ll get you moving, thinking, and learning about this journey.
Internal Team Challenges - Every team can run internal challenges - a step counting team, daily goals, weekly games or anything that can help keep everyone involved and on track. Your ideas are welcome - just post them here.
This Month’s Weekly Team Challenges will be provided by:
Week 1 – Team MISSION SLIMPOSSIBLES
Week 2 – Team TRIMSTONES
Week 3 – Team WEIGHT NO MORE
Week 4 – Team WAISTAWAYS
Week 5 – Team SHRINKING ASSETS
Note: If for some reason your team is unable to provide the weekly challenge please let us know ahead of time so another team can take your place or the moderators can provide the challenge.
Good Luck Teams: Please let us know if there is anything wrong or if you notice something that needs to be fixed or modified.
Let’s make our new challengers feel welcome and show them some F2F love!! Introduce yourselves, and let the new month begin.
THANKS! YOUR MODS

Thank you Linda and everyone for lovely welcome 😊
I'm Ellie, 41 years old and I'm from UK.
I'm 5'3 and my starting weight is 220lbs.
I just started following ketogenic diet and I'm hoping that getting rid of sugar will help my weightloss.

Hi Team!!!!
I’m back home and really wanting a salad!!! LOL. Hubby said the same thing. Time for some raw veggies!
We are nursing a sick pup today. We think he must have gotten into someone’s thanksgiving scraps and devoured them. He is not feeling well at all.
Hope everyone is having a nice Sunday

Week 1 Challenge: Sharing is Caring Brought to you by team Mission Slimpossibles!!
Please post in your groups and pop over to the challenge thread and post there as well so we can all get to know each other better!!
Week One: Sharing Is Caring
SHARING SUNDAY
I joined Fat 2 Fit because I love the idea of challenges and working together as a group toward our goals. Being involved with my team Mission Slimpossibles has been so much fun and so motivating. I love how my team truly cares about each other and does their best to always be so supportive.1 -
I'll type up my intro At work tomorrow but here's yesterday's official results.

Hi all, November is my eleventh month on the challenge. I'm Australian, mum to a 14 yr old.
Since joining this challenge I've lost 48.6kgs / 107.2lbs (40.7% body weight), moved from 3rd class obese category to upper end of the healthy category, reversed my insulin resistance and sluggish thyroid, my sleep has improved (am no longer an epic snorer, for which my husband is grateful), I wake refreshed in the morning and have much better energy levels during the day. Stress can be an issue for me - my daughter has health issues and I am primary carer - however, I have stopped stress eating and am pretty good at sticking to my new way of eating.
I eat a wholefood diet that is low-carb, moderate protein, moderate healthy fats, includes naturally fermented foods high in probiotics, and I do intermittent fasting. In recent months I've increased my exercise so I get 30 mins a day, usually involves (slow) run 2-3 times a week, yoga 2-3 times a week, swimming once a week, as well as some walking.
I have gained and lost weight a number of times over the years: seems a terrible cycle, with each gain bigger than the previous loss. Am hoping this new way of eating is sustainable long term, not just for weight loss but for maintenance ever after.
My stats:
169cm / 5'7'
41 years
Highest Weight: 263.5lbs/119.5kg (27th January 2019)
Dec SW: 157.6 lbs (25 Nov)
Dec Goal: 157 lbs (30 Dec)
My main goal for December is not to go backwards! Christmas will be a big challenge - not just the Xmas day celebration (which I am not too worried about) but because I will spend 2 weeks with family, it will be high stress, with lots of conflict between my way of eating & living versus theirs. So while the first 3 weeks of this month I'm still following my normal eating and exercise routine, the last two weeks will require some compromise - and I just hope the two even out and I don't go back into the "overweight" category.5 -
Luciicul
Week 1 weigh in (Monday)
PW: 157.6 lbs
CW: 156.3 lbs
I've finally edged into the BMI "healthy" category!7 -
Hi everyone, I’m Alicia. I’m 48, married, mom to three (6, 18 and 20), and work full timeI joined MFP in September and have lost about 24 lbs so far. I attribute a lot of that success to a MFP thread where I have been able to give and receive support, and where I met @lindamtuck2018.
It has truly transformed my journey by finding real people to connect with, share highs and lows, and by holding me accountable for my goals. So when Linda mentioned this challenge I thought it would be fun to try! Thanks for letting me join the fun!2 -

Hi all!
Sharing Sunday/Monday 😁
I've joined the challenge because it is my first week back and I need all the motivation I can get 😁
I'm hoping to meet some like minded people to get me going especially through the Christmas season 😍3 -
Welcome to @aliciap0116 and @ells_runs - it would be great if you could join the weekly step count for the team. I would like to get us up to a million steps a week so anybody wanting to join would be great. Just type the date and number of steps on a posting here and I will log them in the tracker.
Those that normally submit that are missing November dates are;
@boehle 25th-30th Nov
@LaurieWrobo 24th & 27th Nov
@ngk2000 26th-30th Nov
@lindamtuck2018 24th Nov
December is a difficult time either peak summer or peak winter in many placese. Don't let the weather put you off your stride. It is a time to enjoy good company and good food & wine so mix it with some good workouts and come out smiling in the new year!
Congratulations @Luciicul on a fantastic achievement of getting into the healthy BMI range. Very, very impressive - hope to follow you there next year!

Sorry, I am a day late. I had joined mfp 2 months previous to joining this group. I was going nowhere with it. This challenge helped me focus and get on track. It is somewhere I can turn if I am slipping and need a boost in my journey.1 -
Week 1 group challenge- Motivation Monday My daughter sent me this one time when I was struggling. I really love it.4
