Thanks for the reactions so far! Keep 'em coming

Trying to find the new sample spreadsheet you mentioned and I'm not sure where to look. I even looked on the current Dec spreadsheet to see if you started a new sample one...let me know where to find it please. Can't comment until I see it.

Hi Jessica - I sent an invite by email (your gmail). Let me know if you didn't get it and I'll send you the link again.

@jugar Got the email, looked at the spreadsheet...LOVE IT! Should work well with everyone on same page and won't take long to tally each day.

I've tried going into Hangouts and trying to find the new group chat, but can't figure it out...never used Hangouts before. If anyone has pointers...I've seen the general directions on Google, but can't find the group ya'll created...don't know if groups are saved or if they have to be recreated each time...perhaps that's the issue...anyway, if you guys will let me know at least a day in advance, I'll make sure I'm available.

I just re-added you. It should appear on your list when you open hangouts? Hopefully...

When you have a challenger hit a big milestone - like onederland, lost 50/75/100, etc. Please let a mod know. We are going to start recognizing these accomplishments across all teams.

I love this idea!! It will be very motivating for the members to see others reaching their goals and hopefully inspire them to push toward theirs. I sure know that I need some inspiration right now! ;)

    You already received Greg’s resignation.

As a current Co-Captain on my Fitness Warriors I have decided to give my resignation along with my other Co-Captain Sue and our incredible motivator Kai. We have already provided our resignation approximately a week ago to provide adequate time to fill our spots. I am a retired Business/International tech who sold her business! I want the best for both of our teams.

We will be above board as we have shown for a smooth transition.

For myself, I am standing behind one of our of prior Owners and Moderators that provided so much to this team! Greg!

Here is our timeline and transition to WE ARE THE WARRIORS:

Our official start day will be Sunday, December 29th! I requested that our current teammates moving to our new group on the 29th will not have to post to F2F any longer. We will be posting all weight and steps on our new group! 💪 (hard not to use emojis) for 2020! Lol! 😆

Teammates that remain on Fitness Warriors:
Greg, Sue, Kai and myself have agreed to stay on until January 4th through the transition. We will post weights and steps while the moderators select a new captain or have a different vision for the team.

Mods- Please let me know if we can assist anymore with the transition. We have been well above board. That is what we do. I just ask... Please let me know when YOU revoke a member of the Fitness Warriors to post, as a captain still, I would appreciate for You letting me know.

    https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/134959-we-are-the-warriors

We support everyone and what you choose to do! I love the MFP community!

Wishing you and your family an awesome Christmas 🎄! I have a household full...oh my, they started singing carols..

Let me know if I can do anything else for a smooth transition! Or of you have any questions!

I have to give a lot of kudos and praise to Greg! We all know what he did for this team. I know the captains he brought in! He has a huge heart and worked his butt off for this team! I am thankful for all of his efforts in his free time! New Founder of WE ARE THE WARRIORS.

    Best!

Thanks for the clear information - and for staying on to post weights and steps until January 4th. That will be really helpful! I'm not sure what you mean by us revoking a member of the Fitness Warriors, though - we have not removed, revoked, or otherwise changed the privileges of any team member, and don't plan to. Everyone will have the choice to do what they wish, and the transition will be as simple and smooth as possible.

At the moment, we are not sure if the Fitness Warriors will have enough members to continue, so the team will need to discuss new captains, etc. during the final week of the month. If there are not enough, then we'll begin re-assigning if needed. I hope the team will continue, but we'll have to wait and see!

Wishing you a wonderful Christmas as well, and best of luck with your new group! We will miss Greg and all of you.

    Hello captains,

We are about to drive for the holidays to my husband’s family in Eastern Ontario. We just lost my father-in-law a few weeks ago, so it is not the easiest time for us. But the children are keeping us cheerful and I am trying to keep things as festive as possible for them!

As I said on our team thread, I just lived through a chaotic scene similar to that one in Home Alone where the family is scrambling to pack & get to the airport. I can see now how somebody could forget a child!! Our kids are all accounted for and my teen & I are the last people to leave. I may post a little less over this week, but I will try to be on when I can.

I want to wish the departing captains and members of the Fitness Warriors all the best in their new endeavour, as well as in their fitness and health journey.

Sending a lot of love and appreciation to our remaining Captains! Being a captain takes time and sometimes it is not easy, and you are all the best!! A special thank you to Liselyn, Becky and Steve for their outstanding leadership through the year, and in this time of transition!! Finally, to my co-captain Pam, you continue to inspire me with your dedication to the team in midst of such a busy life. You helped me out of my funk when I was reinjured this summer, and I am forever grateful!

    Happy Holidays everyone!!

As promised, I wanted to help you and also the entire team for planning purposes! The green checks are the members that are moving from Fitness Warriors to our new group site: We ARE THE WARRIORS!

I love spreadsheets and want to assist you for your own planning purposes Lis.

We are moving over on the 28th of December and I can move all teammates to the remove list on the spreadsheet. If you would like me to do something else please let me know.

Sue, Kai and I will post the remaining weights and steps for who stays back to help the team until the 4th of January.

Thank you for the list Sally! I'll post on the FW team thread soon asking the 7 people who are remaining how they feel about moving to other teams. If we get a lot of new registrations, we'll keep them together and build their numbers back up again - hard to know which way will work best, but we have time to see which direction will be best. Just keep me up to date with who is leaving and staying and it will all go well.

It is not necessary to move anyone on the spreadsheet - I'll be setting up the January ones soon with only the continuing challengers, so you don't need to worry about it. Is everyone who is leaving weighing in through the end of our challenge or will they skip the final week?

Great ty! I believe NikMar will be coming over as well. She is on vacation. FYI, sadly a few that are unchecked NWI as reflected on spreadsheet and will be dropped.

I believe they will be skipping the final week. We go live on Sunday the 29th so we could start the New Year all together! Challenges etc.

FYI, I believe we had the first week starting on Dec 29th - Jan 4th for team challenge. I wanted to provide you a heads up that we will decline as we are supporting both teams during that time period.

    Many thanks!

    Happy almost New Year!
There are all kinds of ideas floating around to get ready for January. We will add the habit tracker option for anyone who would like to use it.

I would like to propose a challenge for the month:
Everyone Lose One Pound Per Week Month. Anyone with less than 10 pounds to lose can cut that to 0.5 pound per week, and anyone at maintenance should stay there. In other words, a completely, 100% GREEN month. No red numbers on the spreadsheet at all. Do you think we can do that? I will be doing it with my team, but it might be fun to aim for a green challenge where we can see which team gets the most green for the month (by %) or something. Since I do the tallies, it would not be hard to add this one statistic, and have a super green January.

For this challenge, there would be no discussion thread, just all of the teams would internally encourage the 1 pound (or .5 for the lucky few) per week and keep it going all month. Seem feasible?

I couldn't have asked for a better co captain! You jumped right in and volunteered to be a co captain when Cyndie had to leave. Our team is lucky to have you! xoxo

PS-hope I didn't mess up the spread sheet...I really try to just enter weights and not touch anything else :s

Just a gentle reminder...please be careful when editing the chart sections...someone knocked out one of my step team members on the TrimStones chart, leaving the number 1 instead of their name and it took a bit to figure out who it was to make the correction...

Also, all of hiding of the columns is beginning to make it difficult to record weights and steps. I like to check the previous weight when recording new weights and it's difficult to do when all previous columns are hidden.

Registration is running smoothly and all of our extra efforts at promoting seem to be paying off. Hats off to all of us...it's gonna be a great new year/new you in 2020! Great job and applause to everybody!!!

The columns are not hidden - just scroll sideways and they are all there. They slide "under" the 1st 2 columns but when you scroll the other way they reappear.
